Remote home great for disconnecting

I always find rating a place to be subjective because what I might like about a property others may not. The house was very clean, the kitchen well equipped and the bathrooms well stocked, the beds were very comfortable with extra blankets provided. The location is remote (which we enjoyed): 30 minutes to surrounding towns for dining/shopping, but it's October and the drive on the country roads was beautiful! There is no internet or Wi-Fi, but we were able to connect and stream movies by using the hotspot on my phone, which I connected to my laptop and then ran an HDMI cord to the tv. We took several walks around the neighborhood - it makes a 1.5 mile loop. We worked puzzles, drank lots of coffee and a little wine, stayed up way too late watching movies and eating way too much junk food. It was the perfect get-away weekend for my best friend and I!

One week of Bass fishing tournaments

Perfect set up for fishermen, plenty of parking for trucks and boats with access to electricity. Comfortable sleepy quarters and quite neighborhood. Only used the kitchen for coffee and oven baked pizza, it is fully stocked with everything you need to cook meals. We all fished from sunrise to sunset and had a great time.
