Aside from an issue checking in, which the owner addressed, my stay here was fantastic. It's quiet, has amazing views, a fantastic hot tub, and a comfy bed. The sea lions playing and lounging about every evening were a great addition. I'd certainly stay here again.
Stairs to the bedroom are a bit steep. Watch your step when the need for a bathroom arises in the middle of the night. Nice, quiet spot to spend a couple of nights away.

A perfect coastal getaway! We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The interior has a wonderful cozy vibe with thoughtful touches throughout, and the wood-burning fireplace was a highlight on colder nights. We loved the multiple outdoor furniture setups; having easy beach access and several spots to enjoy the ocean view made our stay truly special.
Absolutely an amazing getaway! Charming little house with amazing views and outside space.

Distance of walk to house from parking spaces was very under estimated. Very difficult path to navigate luggage. House was quaint and cozy. Not the cleanest place we’ve stayed. Bed was comfortable. Beach is not accessible near the house. The beach was nice, especially if you like to collect shells. We had to move propane tanks around to use bbq and outdoor heater. The fire pit didn’t work.
We had a fantastic time and enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, the view was beautiful and enjoyed sitting on the swing chairs with our coffee & tea in the morning. The home felt very welcoming and the record player was a great touch. There were a few things that were off putting though. The long walk to get to the home was very difficult especially with luggage, the walkway is uneven and rough. There was a smell that would randomly pop up in the place especially in the bathroom. We bought air freshener to mask it during our stay. The stairs to the bedroom are super narrow and not easy to walk up especially with larger feet. You do have to be careful with the flooring, it would be super easy to trip on it particularly near the fireplace. We had read that neighbors weren't friendly to guests but we didn't find that to be true. We had a few great conversations with them and didn't feel a negative vibe.
This hidden beach cottage was a true gem. You can relax on the porch in a swing watching the seals, or sit on the bottom deck by the water enjoying charcuterie and wine. The cottage is lovely and the host was very communicative and friendly. Overall, this property is great for a quiet getaway with your partner or a girls getaway. Look forward to booking again soon.

Unfortunately the unit is quite far from the parking on a very narrow cement path. The neighbors are not welcoming. The rep that I felt with was very prompt in answering my questions. Sadly most of the bonuses I was looking forward to were broken. The bbq, the hot tub, the fire pit, washer/dryer were all broken. It is advertised as family friendly but to get to the bed upstairs there are steep and tiny stairs, I had to sleep downstairs due to medication I take and the bathroom being downstairs.
The property was exactly like described. Perfect location. Amazing views. Very private. Best restaurant ever (Gino's on the waterfront) just 5 minute walk away. Cute house. The amenities made up for the con's. Con's: needs a little maintenance. Broken couch pull out. The couch was super dirty. Slow draining shower. Broken shower knobs that nearly don't work. BUT still 5 stars because it had a wow factor.
