Amazing Property, Views and Wildlife Galore

The property was amazing. The house was beautiful and well maintained. There was plenty of room. All our needs and wants were met. We especially enjoyed seeing all the deer and watching the ducks swimming on the lake. Great place to stay.

Concert Weekend

We rented this VRBO to enjoy a concert in Gruene and meander about. I originally wanted something closer, but wouldn’t change a thing. The house was absolutely gorgeous alongWith the setting. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Perfect Girls Trip Stay

What a great house, wonderful view of the lake through the trees. Feels like you're in a professionally decorated tree house. We gabbed while watching the sun set over Canyon Lake then gabbed some more on the back porch under the fans and with a breeze keeping us cool. Great location near Greene and Wimberly. Host was super responsive. I would definitely book again.

Relaxing Spot by the Lake

I recently stayed in this home with my family. We enjoyed so much about it. The rooms were comfortable, and the views were incredible. Sitting on the upper deck with our morning coffee was a great way to start the day, as was watching the sunsets from the same spot. We absolutely enjoyed the use of the kayaks, which made it possible to explore the lake at our leisure while getting some exercise. The well-appointed kitchen made cooking and meal prep easy and convenient. We'd absolutely stay here again.

Great views, lovely accommodations with amenities. The only issue would be trash disposal. Despite the lock on the bin, critters were able access and tear into trash bags. In addition, bin had not been emptied of trash prior to visit.

Canyon lake

Loved the location of the house and the house. Felt like the outside was a little neglected could have had it cleaned up (grass, weeds.. etc) The neighbors across the street are horrible as soon as they saw we had a boat with a trailer behind our truck they went and parked two golf carts at the end of there driveway which made it very difficult to back in! It was nice to be able to tie up our boat behind house and not have to put in and out everyday! Overall I was happy!

Very nice house! Bad smell!

Very nicely decorated house with great views! However, the bunk room, and the bedroom on the lower level both had a horrible smell! Very similar to cat urine. Tried to deal with it. Sleep with my covers over my head. Sent a message on the second day to the owner with no response. I don’t usually turn in complaints on any places I stay, but I think people need to be informed.

Perfect Winter Retreat

We had a wonderful stay this January. Amazing views, calming vibes, and a secluded feel which we desired. We were able to bring our 7 month old and our doodle with us which was great. We had all the amenities we needed to make it feel like home, including a food/water bowl for the dog and a pack n play for the baby to sleep. The outside propane fire pit was a nice touch as we were able to enjoy the cold weather cuddled up in blankets. I enjoyed all the different places we could sit and enjoy the amazing view, especially catching the sunrise/sunset. I was able to do some yoga on the balcony with mats provided which was nice. There was just one review that mentioned an odd smell downstairs. We noticed it in the master bathroom, but it wasn’t enough to affect our stay (my nose was congested anyways, so I could barely smell). Otherwise, it was a perfect stay and experience. Loved the deer greeting us in the morning, too. I felt like I actually got to connect with nature. We will definitely stay here again!
