Cozy Beach Tiny House – Where tranquility and comfort meets relaxed surf vibes
THE INDOOR SPACE A 2023-built tiny home (7 X 2.4 m) with a high ceiling to provide you with two sleeping lofts or 'bedrooms' at each end.
The larger second loft sleeps a couple on a queen mattress. The smaller loft sleeps a single person on a king single futon-type of mattress (for safety) but comfortable. Both lofts have storage space for all your needs.
Underneath the sleeping lofts, the floor space offers a full kitchen with a 2-seat table, a separate bathroom at one end and a joint living area at the other end. The living area has a sofa and ottoman with storage, a smart TV, and a work-from-home station (i.e. a foldable desk, chair and a computer monitor for your bring-your-own device). Wifi is provided.
THE OUTDOORS Enjoy meals out on a generous deck area (6.5 X 3 m), partially covered by a pergola with a roof system that opens and closes for your comfort and a table that sits four people. Take advantage of our Kamado ceramic grill and a bar learner for barbequing or for the pizzaiolo enthusiast! Relax at the outdoor cushioned seater and get cozy by the fire pit.
Garden views with native plants and banana trees to give you serenity and privacy. A wetsuit hanger and surfboard racks out on the garden to hang and dry your working gear after a busy day... Back-to-back showers, one in the bathroom and one outdoors, are both at your disposal for cold and hot showers.
CLIMATE & COMFORT The tiny home is fully insulated and double-glazed but does not have air conditioning. Cooling is provided by fans, and warmth is via a heating panel. Guests are encouraged to manage indoor temperature by opening windows and using fans during warmer periods, and by closing windows and turning the heating panel on ahead of time to stay warm on cooler nights.
THE LOCATION Conveniently located in the heart of the village, but NOT in the midst of the crowds and noise. It is situated at a 10 min walking distance to the cafes and restaurants and at the same distance to both wharfs. Then it is just a step to lay down and relax at the sand or take a swim, kayak or paddleboard by the Raglan bridge. The house is situated in a quiet and residential area with young families around. Party groups are not allowed.
THE ACCESS. No gates from the street, just drive in. The tiny home is the first home from the street. Drive in to park your car behind the unit at the designated space, fitting one car and giving you exclusive and private access to the tiny house.
Enjoy your staying!

Clean, good communication, and easy to check in. I wasn’t there to relax so it went well.If looking for a quiet place to relax it may be handy to know there are two houses with several car owners that live up the same drive way, and lots of kids in the area that make noise most of the day, the lawns were jungle length, and there was a white tail spider in bed and a cockroach that lives under the kettle. But otherwise it is a cute but comfortable tiny house to use in Raglan. Only minutes away from beach, and easy to come and go.

Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the easy check-in and communication. I’m glad the tiny house worked well for your visit to Raglan.
As mentioned in the listing, the property is located in a friendly, family-oriented neighbourhood, so there can be normal daytime activity from nearby homes. Regarding the garden, the summer season can make it grow quickly, but it is regularly maintained. We also have scheduled professional pest control every three months, and the service was completed immediately after your stay.
We appreciate your comments and are happy you found the tiny house comfortable and well located near the beach.
