Ocean Grove Beach Shack

Welcome to the Beach Shack, a spacious, family-friendly getaway just a short walk from Ocean Grove beach.

With 4 large bedrooms over 3 levels, a private parents’ retreat, two living areas, outdoor deck, mini basketball court, and peaceful dune views.

Previously a 4.9-rated short-stay rental. We are now self-managing to better serve our clients.

The generous size house is spread over 3 levels with amazing views down to the Ocean Grove Dunes.

Top Level

On the top level is an amazing parent retreat. It has a very large bedroom with a King size bed. It has a full bathroom, including a toilet, a large shower with rain drop shower head, and a wonderful bath to relax in when you need it. There is also extensive bench space and a drying rack for towels.

There is also a study, with amazing views of the coastline. On a clear day you can see across to Arthur's Seat and see the tops of ships coming through the heads.

Middle level

On entering the home, you walk into the middle level. The first room you see is the seperate lounge area, that includes a tv, lounge suite, mini library and music keyboard.

Further around the corner you will find a storage area with a range of items to assist your stay. They include:

o Portable tables
o Plastic chairs
o Lounge recliner chairs
o Boggy boards
o Surfboards
o Clothes Hanging rack
o Basketball

On the same level, towards the back of the house is a large kitchen, dinning area and second lounge.

The room is framed with an amazing landscape view of the the Ocean Grove Dunes.

The kitchen is a full kitchen, with all the equipment needed to make your stay comfortable. It includes, fridge, split oven, convection stove top, toaster, air fryer, microwave, kettle, toasted sandwich maker, coffee maker (pods), rice cooker, cutlery, crockery and glasses. The kitchen can easily accomodate 10 people.

The timber dinning table easily seats 10 people to share wonderful meals, conversations and laughter together.

The second lounge can accomodate 8 people to enjoy chilling out, watching some TV together.

Behind the kitchen is a powder room, with toilet and sink.

Also on this middle level, is a south facing deck, with outdoor dinning setting to enjoy the views. You can access this from either the kitchen or front lounge area.

And finally, from the front lounge access the mini basketball court, full size, height adjustable, ring.

Lower Level

On the lower level are three bedrooms, full size bathroom (including a bath) and laundry area.

The last bedroom is large and accommodates 1 queen bed and two single beds.

There are two further bedrooms, each with two single beds.

The bathroom includes a bath, generous size shower (rain drop head), vanity , drying rack and toilet.

In the laundry room you will find a washing machine, dryer and iron/ironing board.

Heating and Cooling

The whole house is warmed with hydronic heating, wonderful for those with allergies.

There is air-conditioning in the back kitchen, dinning and lounge area. In addition there are ceiling fans through the middle and upper levels.

Location

The property is in an amazing quiet location with the local beach only an 8 minute walk or 1 minute car drive away. The main Ocean Grove shopping precinct with great restaurants, cafes, surf and clothing stores is only 3 minutes away by car.

The local Woolworths, bottle shops, baker's delight, service station , chemist and Subway is only a 2 minute drive away.
