Was very clean. Cute and quaint. Good location. Parking was not our favourite. Missing some items. Excellent at responding and fixing issues. Wonderful host. Would stay again.

Very disappointing stay. We booked this rental well in advance for an event. About an hour before check-in, the host told us the previous guests had left all their belongings and a dog behind and they were trying to resolve the situation. With two major events happening in Edmonton, there were no realistic last-minute accommodation options, so we followed the host’s suggestion to attend our event and return later.We arrived around 4:30 p.m. and were told we could park on the street in front of the rental. We even witnessed the previous renter arrive to collect their dog and belongings before heading to our event.When we returned around midnight, the front door handle came off in our hand when we closed the door. Inside, there was dog hair throughout the rental, garbage that hadn’t been emptied, and dirty blankets and towels stuffed in a bedroom closet. There was also a large tree down in the backyard.There had been a major house fire directly behind the rental. We understand that was beyond the host’s control, but the smoke smell was unpleasant and several windows had been left open, with some window handles also broken, so we couldn’t properly close them.The next morning we found a 100 parking ticket. We had specifically asked about parking and were told we could park on the street, but were not informed that a permit was required during major events. When we asked the host to cover the ticket, they said they weren’t making much money from us.
