Nice self catering cottage - holiday rental in the Cevennes with great views

We are a German / French family and have here in the heart of the Cevennes a typical, old stone house renovated.
We are located on the southern outskirts of the small village of Saint Roman de Tousque. The village lies on a ridge at 600 meters altitude and is still in the sphere of influence of the Mediterranean climate and its corresponding plant- and wildlife. One has from here a magnificent view over the surrounding valleys and mountain ranges.

The apartment is located in a 200 year old stone house that was renovated with traditional as well as modern, biological materials.

The apartment has a big kitchen, which serves simultaneously as a dining room. The cozy living room in addition to central heating, a wood-burning stove for atmospheric evenings and homely atmosphere in the winter months makes.

The outdoor area form a 28 m² large chestnut wood terrace and a 200 m² large private garden with a swing.

Terrace and garden are equipped with garden furniture, parasol and barbecue,.

Good place to relax with family

Very nice cottage, clean and equipped with all what we needed to spend a good stay with all our family, we were 10 persons and we spent a nice stay during christmas time. We liked the views and made a nice walking nearby. Communication was excellent with Astrid and Philippe and they answered all our questions. I recommend 100% this cottages.

un superbe séjour

Le séjour s'est déroulé à la perfection. Le gite est très propre et très fonctionnel. Grâce au chauffage et à la cheminée, il fait très bon dedans et l'ambiance y est très conviviale. Le gite offre une très belle vue sur les montagnes et donne accès à des sentiers de randonnées accessibles à pied. Astrid et Philippe sont très gentils, très arrangeants et disponibles pour donner des conseils sur les alentours et les activités de la région. J'ai passé un très beau séjour dans les cevennes !

Dépaysement au calme

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances en famille. Randonnée, visite, baignade, canoë et accrobranche dans un cadre magnifique et au calme. Une très belle vue

Le gîte est typique des Cevennes, à l'ancienne. Une très belle terrasse, un espace extérieur pour enfant avec des jeux, sous surveillance depuis la terrasse ou la cuisine. Des belles chambres. On a passé un très bon moment.

La maison est très agréable. Très bien décoré avec beaucoup de gôut. Charmante Gîte in den Cevennen / wunderschöne Location

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und sehr gut eingerichtet. Mit mehreren Schlafzimmern, zwei Badezimmern und einem sehr geräumigen Wohn- und Essbereich haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch der Außenbereich mit Garten und sehr schöner Terrasse waren spitze. Der Ort ist eher abgelegen, wunderschöne Natur und schöne Badestellen, die wir meist für uns allein hatten. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Bel environnement

Nous avons passé de belles vacances en famille dans le gîte Sourel. Idéalement placé, en pleine nature, la vue est superbe et le gîte est très bien équipé. Nous avons apprécié les balades aux alentours du gîte, le feux de bois lors des soirées et son environnement. La balançoire est un vrai plus avec des enfants ! Philippe et Astrid sont très agréable et très à l'écoute ! Nous recommandons vivement !

Parfait !

Le gîte du sourel respire la quiétude, la douceur de vivre. Rénové avec des matériaux de très bonne qualité, on dort super bien et on est dans le confort. Enfin, la vallée de Sainte croix est un must des Cévennes pour nous. Merci à Philippe et à Astrid toujours prêts à rendre service et à attentifs à nos besoins.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Le gîte est très bien agencé avec tout le nécessaire. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la grande terrasse donnant sur le jardin.
