Welcome to Balsam Falls! Our luxury riverside home, nestled on 80 acres of forest, is your haven for connection and creativity. Immerse yourself in nature—canoe, hike, or ski, then cool off in a secluded natural pool at the waterfall's base. Enjoy our custom build wood-fired sauna. With friends and family, share home cooked meals followed by a cozy movie night, or a stargaze at the firepit. Experience this slice of paradise in our Canadian summers or explore a winter wonderland.


The space
* Winter access: Winter tires are necessary to access the property during winter months, a vehicle with some clearance and AWD is also recommended. *

*Indoor Space*

The house features an open concept layout on the main floor with a cathedral ceiling and huge windows that provide a sweeping view of the river and forest. The indoor and outdoor dining rooms each elegantly seat ten.

The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with all of the small and large appliances and utensils you need to cook delicious meals. Featuring a five-burner gas stove, microwave, double-door refrigerator, dishwasher, and – for coffee lovers – a grinder, french press, and frother. Coffee, tea, olive oil, and a large selection of spices are complimentary.

Downstairs, an oversized U-sectional creates the perfect space to play board games or curl up and watch a movie on the 65-inch TV. Relax and enjoy SmartTV entertainment – Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, and more!

Featuring pine floors, the boutique style bedrooms include two rooms on the first floor, each with a Queen bed, and a bedroom downstairs with two Twin-XL beds. The downstairs daybed offers additional sleeping space, with two twin beds. Casper linen sets and towels are provided.

The two upstairs bedrooms double as home offices, each equipped with a small desk. The high speed Starlink wifi is great for working remotely, including video conferencing.

There are two full bathrooms, one on each floor. The upstairs bathroom has a Jacuzzi shower/bath and the downstairs bathroom has a large standing shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are complimentary.



*Outdoor Space*

In addition to the outdoor dining room on the upper deck, there is a lower deck and screened-in front porch, a great place to read in the afternoon sun. The lower deck houses a gas BBQ, beautiful lounge furniture, and a hammock. All these spaces are fully covered and allow you to enjoy the outdoors rain or shine. We highly recommend early morning yoga on the deck watching the sun rise!

We have a custom built wood-fired sauna overlooking the falls. It's a fantastic place to enjoy a spa experience. The sauna seats 8 comfortably. limited firewood is available for use.

An outdoor fire pit is nestled by the balsam fir trees with a jaw-dropping view of the night sky - a perfect spot to stargaze on clear nights.

A vast network of walking trails spans the 80 acres. For river fun, there is a rowboat, canoe, life jackets, and a floating dock to swim or fish off.

There is no cell phone reception. Guests can set up wifi calling in advance and use the high speed internet to place and receive calls as normal.

Pets: We have a pet fee of $100 per each pet on the premises

Please plan to bring your own outdoor firewood and beach towels.
