“Bay Breeze” is a delightful single-storey, family and pet-friendly home in Cowes, just a short walk to Cowes Beach and the supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Entry to the home opens into the Living area (with a 65" smart TV and board/card games/books/magazines), which flows through to the Kitchen and Dining area (with seating for 6), creating a spacious central hub for the home, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. A central hallway leads to Bedroom 1 (with BIR & smart TV), which features a private ensuite (with shower & toilet). Bedroom 2 (with BIR) is also nearby, along with the main bathroom (with shower & toilet).
The home also includes a Study (with a double sofa bed), making it ideal for working remotely or accommodating additional guests. A fully equipped laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer) is located off the kitchen area, with internal and external access.
Outdoor Areas
The fully fenced rear courtyard provides a private outdoor space to relax and enjoy the fresh coastal air, creating a pleasant extension of the home’s living area. Set on synthetic grass, the courtyard features a 4-seater wicker lounge setting, including a 2-seater, two single chairs, and a glass coffee table, making it an ideal spot for enjoying meals or unwinding outdoors, with sliding door access directly from the home. The enclosed space is suitable for children and pets alike. The home also includes a single garage with a remote-controlled door and power outlets, providing secure parking, along with additional space available in the driveway.
Please note: The home has one external security camera outside the front door that does not face any internal private areas.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, and cutlery, along with a microwave, coffee machine (ground), toaster, kettle, air fryer, rice cooker, sandwich press, and hand blender. It also features a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven, and cooktop.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a wall-mounted reverse cycle air conditioner in the open-plan Kitchen/Dining/Living area, with ceiling fans and mobile heaters in Bedrooms 1 and 2.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 3 beds and 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 6 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed Bedroom 2: Two Single beds
There is also a Double sofa bed in the Study room suitable for 2 adults or children.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels, and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels, and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed—and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check-in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
