The Space:

Set on a quiet street in leafy Lynmore, Redwoods Edge is a generous family home designed for groups who want space to spread out without losing that shared-holiday feel. The main house has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms plus an additional toilet, with an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that opens to the garden. A second, fully self-contained unit has its own bathroom, and entrance - ideal for grandparents, teens wanting their own space, or two families travelling together.



The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size oven, stovetop, and plenty of bench space, flowing through to a bright dining area with seating for the whole group. The main lounge is warmed by a wood burner and features deep-seated armchairs - a great spot for movie nights or curling up with a book. The self-contained unit has its own heat pump for easy year-round comfort.



Beds are configured for a big group: a king, two queens, and a bunk room with king single bunks plus an additional king single in the main house, and a queen plus a single in the unit - sleeping up to 12 in total. All three bathrooms are modern, with showers and tidy vanities. A dedicated laundry with washer and dryer and an 4th toilet makes longer stays easy.



Outside, the backyard has a private spa pool with covered seating, a separate deck for morning coffee or an evening wine, and lawn space for kids. There's also a games room with a full-size table tennis table - a hit with guests of all ages on rainy Rotorua afternoons. Off-street parking is available on the driveway.

The Neighborhood:

Lynmore is one of Rotorua's most sought-after suburbs, known for its quiet tree-lined streets, excellent local schools, and its location right on the doorstep of the Whakarewarewa Forest (the "Redwoods"). You can walk to the forest trailheads in under three minutes, with world-class mountain biking, trail running, and walking tracks including the famous Redwoods Treewalk just minutes away. The lakefront, hot pools, and central Rotorua are a short drive in one direction; golf courses, Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake), and Lake Rotokakahi (Green Lake) are an easy drive in the other. The local Lynmore shops have a handy dairy, takeaways, and a popular café for your morning flat white.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended for exploring Rotorua's wider attractions, and off-street parking is available on site. Central Rotorua is around a 7-minute drive, Rotorua Airport about 15 minutes, and the gondola, luge, and Polynesian Spa all within 10 minutes. If you'd prefer to stay local, you can walk directly to the Redwoods Forest and spend the day on the trails without getting in the car.
