Our host was extremely gracious and accommodating.This was a perfect location from which to explore Rotorua, Lake Taupo and the surrounding area. We also enjoyed the hot tub!

We're had a great time, lots of room, easy to fit a car and bikes in the garage and couple of extra car spots outside. Very handy to Whakarewera and local shops next door.

We recently stayed at this property and found both positive aspects and areas that require improvement.Positives:   •   The kitchen was well equipped, with plenty of crockery and cutlery provided.   •   Bedding and towels were of excellent quality and generously supplied.   •   The accommodation layout worked well for our family, with all the children’s beds located downstairs.Negatives:   •   Rubbish left in the garage from previous tenants created an unpleasant smell.   •   The water filter was loose on the bench and did not work at all.   •   The outdoor decks were greasy and mouldy, and dangerously slippery in wet weather.   •   The upstairs shower screen was dirty, very loose, and difficult to operate, raising safety concerns.   •   Wi-Fi connectivity was poor, working only downstairs near the modem. The advertised upstairs Wi-Fi was not functional.Overall:At 500 per night, we did not feel the property represented good value. At this price point, we expected the home to be exceptionally clean and for all facilities to be in proper working order. While some aspects of the stay were very good, overall the property did not meet the standard we anticipated.

Great location and super handy to the redwoods and amenities.We had two families in this property and it worked well. Great facilities for families biking.Was a bit dusty though, house could use a good deep clean. This doesn't affect my opinion on staying here as I would stay here again, as great location and facilitaties.

Perfect for a large family with 2 tvs and 2 separate lounge so kids get their own time as well. Nice open plan living upstairs. Everything was peefect

Very convenient location. Only very short drive to all attractions. Great to have the area downstairs for the kids to watch TV and hang out.

The double lounge area was a winner

The two level house, was comfortable to fit two close families. The house had everything we needed. It could of done with a good clean but was fine for our 3 nights.

Stay in Rotorua

Property was ideal for two families, with the seperate bedrooms and bathroom downstairs. Great location and hosts great to deal with. Would stay here again.

Place was nice, it was generally clean but I felt it needed a bit of a deep clean in some areas. The hot tub was nice but next to the garbage wasn’t ideal. Location was pretty central. Overall was a good stay

Lovely property near Tree Walk!

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was absolutely perfect for visiting the Tree Walk—it’s just about a 15-minute walk to the ticket office, which made it super convenient. We highly recommend doing the Tree Walk both during the day and at night to fully experience its magic. The house itself was wonderful. The bedrooms were spacious, and everything was spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. There’s also a nice selection of shops and restaurants just a few minutes away, so everything we needed was within easy reach. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in Rotorua, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others!

Fun in Rotorua

The apartment was a perfect size for us. We loved the location and amenities provided. The initial finding of the address was difficult, but after the first time, we had no issues. We would highly refund staying here!

Great location

Good location for The Redwoods and easy into town. Has everything you need and plenty of room. Just a couple of things that are needed is a few more mirrors as only have one in the bathrooms which is a pain when everyone wants to get ready to go out etc. The other thing is that the cleaners need a bit of a tune up as their cleaning isn’t great. The dishwasher stunk and when we finally got it going the plates, cups and cutlery were still yuck as the drain was gross. Went to use the dryer and wondered why it wasn’t drying then found the water tray over flowing. Duvet covers needed washing too. Sad because other than those things the place is great. I would stay there again if I new the problems were fixed.

Has everything you need

The size of the property was great, allowing everyone to have their own space if they wanted it. The layout of the kitchen + lounge open plan area is also done well for socialising. The property manager was very responsive when we had a question about the dishwasher. I'd definitely stay here again, we had a great time! Location is really convenient too.

Treewalk townhouse stay

The apartment suited out needs as an extended family very well in general. There were some small things that we noted which should be fixed/improved considering the price of hiring, e.g. the water filter next to the sink was not fixed and moved around so that water went onto the bench instead of into the sink if you were not careful, the rubbish bin in the kitchen kept falling out of the holder, the living room floor was quite sticky/dirty, the lounge furniture was stained and has obviously seen better days and there seemed to be a problem with the dishwasher overheating. I just thought that you should know about these things in case no-one else has pointed them out. Other than that, it was quite ok. The space and location was excellent.

A nice setup for 2 families

We had a lovely 4 nights here. We came to go mountain biking and the house was set up perfectly to store our bikes safely overnight and the spa was waiting to ease tired bodies when we got back for the night. What prevented me from scoring it 5/5 was the badly needed maintenance, light bulbs either not working or very dull, 1 queen bed that needs to be replaced (very uncomfortable and lumpy) a door handle downstairs that kept falling off and the upstairs shower door badly in need of cleaning, we would definately stay again despite this.

Spacious house with jacuzzi

The house is very beautiful, spacious, close to the Redwood tree walk and just couple of minutes driving to the city centre. Clean, modern house and the biggest benefit was the jacuzzi in the patio. Can only recommend!
