CREEKSIDE w/ beautiful mountain views! Spacious quiet condo, walk to the slopes

Very roomy yet cozy and private top floor corner condo at 4,565 feet. Beautiful long range mountain views in a sought after, secluded location with only six condos. This is as private as it gets without renting a house. Relax to the sounds of the creek out back and enjoy a constant breeze keeping the air cool and fresh. Half a mile drive or a quarter mile walk from skiing, favorite hiking trails, and several restaurants - this location could not be more convenient.

Play or ski all day, then relax in a quiet and peaceful setting while enjoying beautiful mountain and creek views from the deck. Fiber high-speed wifi (100 Mbps), Netflix, and Disney+ provided for your enjoyment, as well as a blu-ray DVD player in case you would like to bring your favorite movies along. A well stocked kitchen should provide everything you need to cook dinner in or kick back and have take out, and a washer and dryer will keep you going even if you packed a little light.

New furniture, carpet, bed and bath linens, mattresses, and pillows; very little in the condo was not replaced this summer. Zippered pillow protectors and double mattress protectors on all beds.

You will not find a better location for couples or families to enjoy everything Beech Mountain has to offer!

Reserved parking for one vehicle only. Maximum occupancy four adults; or five total guests including children.

** No pets or smoking please. Security camera is in use covering the front door and porch for safety, security, and insurance purposes. A second camera is mounted on the rear of the condo with no view of the condo - only a view of the creek!

Per the ADA and VRBO policy, emotional support animals ("ESAs") are not considered an ADA service animal and are not permitted. If you have a properly trained service dog, please contact me as we will need the documentation and vet records. They must be on a leash at all times and never left in the condo alone, and are not permitted on any furniture or linens.

*** WINTER: 4WD/AWD/Snow chains HIGHLY recommend during snow season. Local teams do a great job keeping main roads clear, but that can take hours some days and they do not clear side roads. There is a slope in and out of the condo's parking lot as well. Local service stations sell chains but can sell out. If you are not already setup for snow/ice, please order chains before your trip to avoid delays and possibly getting stuck! Etrailer.com has good sets for under $100 for most vehicles and ships very quickly.

Wonderful location

Everything was wonderful! Check in was smooth, the host was readily available and gave great recommendations for local eats and things to do with our child, and the beds were super comfortable!

Snow skiing weekend

I took my son and his friend snow skiing for the first time. The condo was super convenient to Beech Mountain. Coming back to the condo after a full day of skiing was the best. We had ample space, all the kitchen amenities and a wonderful time all around! Highly recommend!

Great Place, comfortable and the Stream is relaxing!

This place has it all for a nice stay! Listening to the stream, either outside or laying down to sleep is so relaxing. The location is great and close to all kinds of activities and restaurants and shopping. It was our first time to Beech Mountain, but will be back!

Great stay

Our family spent a long weekend at the condo. It was a great stay. The condo was very clean and the view of the creek was neat. We were minutes from the slopes. And my kiddos were happy with the selection of board games. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable and relaxing place

The condo is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. We particularly enjoyed being able to be on the patio in the cool weather looking at and listening to the creek below.

Perfect

This location and property was exactly as described and a perfect location for a fall mountain trip. It is located close to many attractions. We will definitely keep this one in mind for our next mountain trip.

Super convenient

Place was amazing. Clean and well equipped. Comfy beds and even basic necessities in the kitchen. Kids even used the driveway for sledding!

So relaxing

From booking to having to return home the best communication with an owner. Thank you Stuart for allowing us to enjoy your mountain getaway. After a traumatic event at the beginning of the year,this hit the nail on the head for total relaxation. The home was exactly what was described. The sound of the creek was amazing! We hope to return to this hidden gem.

Loved this condo!

The condo was easy to get to and was just as pictured. It was spotless and had all the conveniences of home. We felt very comfortable there and look forward to a spring visit so that we can leave the door open and listen to the running stream below. The owner/manager, Stuart was quick to respond to questions prior to arrival. We had to shift our dates a little due to a death in the family and he not only accommodated us but upon arrival, there was a sympathy card waiting for us. So kind. Sharon

Great location and experience!

Drove up for the week to see snow and did not disappoint! Stuart was very accessible and prompt in his responses to anything we needed. The location was awesome with amazing views yet being only 5-10 minutes away from coffee, grocery shopping, restaurants and skiing/tubing! During past travels with cabins in high elevations, we usually had to drive 30+ minutes down the mountain to get to anything near by. Big plus! Only things I would suggest providing, which are very minor in nature, is maybe a DVD player (we brought Christmas movies from home) and a snow scraper for the vehicles (we are from Florida and did not have one handy). Will definitely be back!

Wonderful condo!

Our family of 4 (2 teens) really enjoyed our long weekend at Beech mountain! The condo was very clean and the beds comfortable. The view was beautiful. The creek is right below the deck. We had a lot of snow while we were there, which was great for skiing. You do need four wheel drive or chains if there is snow. Parking was not an issue at all. There are deer that come up daily and you can feed them carrots out of your hand ( the neighbor gave us some) The neighbor next door is very nice and walks his dog and cleans off the steps every day. There are steps on the side to walk down to the creek. Also the walk to ski is not too far but there was a lot of snow this weekend so it was hard walking up hill but we got some exercise. It was easy coming back. You could ski down. We drove to the slopes in the evening. Would definitely stay again!

We spent 3 nights here with our two adultish children and were very happy with everything by the most part. We did have two small issues. The lack of parking for one. There is room for one car per unit and that is being generous. If you plan on traveling with two or more vehicles just don’t bother or leave your extra vehicles at the ski resort or something if that’s allowed. When we arrived someone was in our spot so I had to park in another units spot and hope that it didn’t lead into a conflict that ruined our trip. The other issue was the second bedroom twin beds were a little short for my 6 foot tall soon but he ended up sleeping on the couch. Other than that it was wonderful and my wife and kids absolutely loved seeing the deer out back by the creek. They apparently are very used to people. For under $200 per night it was well worth it especially it being such great proximity to beech mountain resort. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Perfectly located and fully equipped with everything one would need for your stay. Owner was wonderful and made sure to keep us well informed of any and all possible issues while on the mountain. The highest of ratings!

Excellent, Private Condo for Small Family

This condo was the perfect spot for our family getaway to the mountains! I really appreciated the detailed check-in email. It made finding the condo easy and included lots of helpful information. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. My kids loved playing in the creek and we could easily watch them from the balcony or the Adirondack chairs in the backyard. It was an easy drive to both Banner Elk and Roan Mountain. Highly recommended!

Cozy, relaxing mountain location

Our family of four had a wonderful relaxing stay. Very clean and cozy property to relax in after a long day of skiing. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple meals, and also had great takeout from Fred's and the local Pizzeria (we found menus in the kitchen). Stuart responded very quickly when I texted a question. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return next year. Highly recommend this location, this is a great property and Stuart was a great person to rent from.

Great Condo and host

Pre-Christmas ski trip

Loved the condo and property! We were greeted by some very tame and sweet deer which made our arrival very special! Had to call property owner re: a cleaning issue, which was resolved the same day! Had a great time!
