This property is very nice. The house is clean and has everything anyone could need. The beds are comfortable and bedrooms roomy. The location is excellent and easily within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to rent again.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Southport! The house was just as it was described and pictured. It was very convenient to historic downtown Southport and the surrounding area. Beautiful historical home in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for our stay. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do and explore. Communication with the host was great. We love Southport and will definitely be back.

We loved our 3-night stay and only wish we could have stayed longer! The house was beautiful, clean and very well-appointed. The pictures really do not do it justice. The location was a short walk to Southport restaurants, shops and the waterfront. We loved the hot tub, pool table and all the outdoor spaces! We would love to stay again!

We took a long weekend here in late April. This beautiful home was even better in person - from the decor and furnishings to the amenities. We spent our time walking from here to the shops and restaurants. My 70yo mom had no issues with the distances, and we appreciated the first floor bedroom for her. The beds did lean a little on the firm side, which my husband enjoyed, but something to keep in mind. We loved the large hot tub and the backyard seclusion. Check in/out was a breeze and Marc was very helpful with anything we needed. 10/10 would recommend!

Check in was very easy. Property was very convenient and in walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We highly recommend the Bald Island Ferry ride and the carriage ride. We also highly recommend renting a golf cart. The house has bikes on the property and the linens and towels are also in adequate supply. Very spacious home! Hot tub was also a huge plus! Mark who is one of the owners has exceptional communication skills! He was very helpful during the reservation process, check in process, and check out process.

We had a great stay! The home is charming and spacious, has lots of character and is in a great location. We could easily walk to restaurants and shops. We were only two people so didn't take advantage of the additional bedrooms upstairs but the layout is great for a family with older children or multiple couples. Lots of amenities. Check in was super easy!

My family and I stayed here for a week and we all agree that this was the best vacation we ever had. Great location, beautiful clean home. Everything is in perfect condition and well kept. We cannot wait to go back in the spring!

Everything was perfectly maintained, clean, and organized. And the house had a lot of historical charm and character, which the owners have done a great job of preserving and even accentuating. Marc was one of the best hosts I’ve ever dealt with. He really seems to care about his guests and went above and beyond. As far as location, you really can’t do better than this house. Not only is it within walking distance of downtown Southport, but you’re literally a stone’s throw from two of the best restaurants in town.There’s no question where we’ll stay in all of our future trips to Southport.

Comfy and relaxing

My family really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean great location for walking loved being able to ride the bikes that they had on the property perfect place for doing walking to the restaurants. The communication between owner is excellent. Would stay here again.

GIRLS TRIP

Five retired friends from 2 hours away went to Southport to talk, eat, shop and just relax. We enjoyed the Franklin art gallery, all the boutiques .We enjoyed the restaurants , especially the Southern restaurant right next door. Great place to stay!
