Ilot - Ile de Re

Amazing location and very well positioned apartment overlooking the harbour - great view from 3 large windows to floor. Well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are fine although small, but each with private bathroom. Great place for 3 groups who want some privacy. Strongly recommended. We have a very good holiday. Hoomy staff and very good.

Great location, shabby apartment

This apartment is in an incredible location, genuinely don't think it could be improved. However, it is in desperate need of some investment, the carpets are filthy, the paintwork is shabby, in general it's really not up to a good standard. There is also a LOT of 'stuff' - ornaments, objects, souvenirs - EVERYWHERE, so the whole place is quite dusty and there's no empty surfaces to put belongings on. We had to pay extra for bedding and towels, which was surprising, as was the fact that we had to make up our own beds when we got there! We were also missing three pillowcases and got no response from VRBO host until the 3rd day, despite us being told they were always available, so we had to sleep on pillows with no cases for 2 nights. Overall, perfect location, wonderful holiday, but the owners need to spend more money on the apartment, and less money on buying stupid ornaments.

Thank you for your detailed feedback, Ellie! We’re thrilled to hear that you loved the location and had a wonderful holiday overall 🌟. Regarding your concerns, allow us to clarify a few points. The apartment is owned by a private individual, and as such, the furniture and decorations reflect their personal style, which is why some objects and ornaments are present. While we understand this might not suit everyone’s preference, we appreciate your honesty. As we’re not a hotel, bedding and towels are not included by default, but they can be added to your booking for an additional fee. However, it’s true that we don’t offer bed-making services upon arrival. For any issues during your stay, it’s essential to contact the concierge managing the property directly through the provided phone number. Messaging via VRBO reaches the rental team, which may result in a delayed response. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts; they help us and the property owner improve! We hope to welcome you back to enjoy that unbeatable location again in the future 🌊✨. Maxence - hoomy location & conciergerie
