Home away from home

Laurence and Renaud made us feel truly at home in their wonderful house just a stone throw outside Loulé (a beautiful little town 20 car minutes from Faro, btw, worth a visit itself). Friendly and catering to all our needs they enabled our two families with small children to spend two relaxing weeks enjoying and discovering the Algarve. 100% recommended.

A little gem of a villa

This is truly an amazing villa with all the little things thought about that other villas/hosts just don't! Cannot recommend more reynaud as a host, always on hand, gives tips as to where to go, checks in with you, an absolutely lovely person. The villa itself is spotlessly clean, 4 bedrooms each with their on ensuite and each have access to a balcony and air con in every room. Fresh towels and linen available and loads of pool towels means you dont need to take anything extra. The living room/kitchen is large and comfy and every room is filled with trinkets that will keep you looking. The little things like washing powder, hand cleaner, properly kitted out kitchen utensils to the salt pot and odd spices to use all make it a home from home. Picking fresh oranges and making your own juice is something I already miss! The pool was more than big enough for 8 of us to enjoy with good shade via umbrellas available and is about a 100 yard walk up the drive way, passed the fruit trees from the villa. The outside kitchen area is fantastic and we used the BBQ daily. This is also where we spent most of our evenings just relaxing playing games or table tennis. In terms of local area we can recommend the aquapark in vilamoura, but the queus were quite lengthy, so get there early! And also the benegil cave boat tour was brilliant with the bonus of seeing dolphins as well. Local supermarkets are about 10 mims away by car (which we would recommend although an uber to vilamoura was on average 16 to 18 euros and to loule 7). Some great restaurants in loule to discover, think our recommendation would be 'El Cartel' Mexican, Fantastic food and there is a weekly market on a Saturday to walk around! Back to the villa...this is a gem of a place, truly home from home, nothing is too much trouble for reynaud and we look forward to going back again. Thanks for an amazing holiday!

Séjour à Casa do Mundo

Nous avons passé 3 semaines très agréables à la casa do mundo. La maison est conforme aux descriptions du site : très belle maison très spacieuse, au calme, ce que nous recherchions, propre, bien entretenue, très bien équipée (cuisine, salon, chambres) avec en plus les 2 climatisations dans le salon mais également dans toutes les chambres qui fonctionne très bien et est de qualité. Le wifi nickel ainsi que la TV avec chaînes françaises. Table de ping pong, billard, jeu de boules à disposition avec le terrain. Aire de jeux pour enfants. Il y a également la cuisine extérieure avec tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner. Et la piscine, au calme, sans vis à vis, que du bonheur. Un véhicule est conseillé. Centre commercial et plusieurs hypermarchés pas très éloigné en voiture. Diverses plages et belles randonnées à faire. Bien que Renaud, le propriétaire, réside juste à côté, nous l’avons très peu vu. Il est très discret mais également très réceptif au cas où. C’est une personne très sympathique, vous donnant des infos concernant les événements ou choses à faire. Nous avons apprécié la compagnie de Miza. Nous recommandons vivement cette location. Nous y retournerons certainement. Un grand merci à Renaud.

Vacances inoubliables

Superbe accueil de la part de Renaud qui s'est montré disponible et discret. Maison très bien entretenue, spacieuse et bien équipée et même avec cuisine d'été extérieure. Très bonne localisation pour visiter la région. Tout est pensé pour satisfaire tous les âges (table ping pong, baby-foot, pétanque, aire de jeux pour les plus jeunes, piscine...). Nous y reviendrons les yeux fermés.
