Time To Book Your Fall Golf Getaway - Fairway Villas- 2 Bed/2 Bath

Welcome to our family’s piece of paradise. We’ve been travelling to Hawaii for twenty years, and our condo is the fulfillment of a dream to call the Big Island our second home. Our goal is to provide you with that same sense of aloha.

Our 2BR/2 BA condo has a king in the master suite, and twin beds (easily converted to a king if requested) in the guest room. You will find many upgrades in our villa, including high-quality furnishings, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave), large flat screen HD televisions in the living room and master suite, and a new full-size high-efficiency washer and dryer. We have tried to anticipate your every need and included everything you need to feel at home. You will even find convenient kitchen appliances, including a toaster, blender, coffee maker (a Keurig as well), rice cooker, and electric teapot.

Our unit includes HD TV channels, wireless internet, and air conditioning. You will also find beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and boogie boards to allow you to immediately enjoy the nearby beaches. Our unit comes with a designated parking spot close to the building’s elevator. The previous owners of our condo built a great group of return renters and received stellar reviews for providing a clean and well-maintained property, and we have worked to uphold that standard.

Fairway Villas was our destination long before we purchased our vacation home here because of its location. Tucked away in a peaceful, gated neighborhood with amenities like an infinity edge pool, spa, fitness facility, and grill area. Our lanai overlooks the first green of the Tom Weiskopf-designed Waikoloa Kings Golf Course and the Kings Petroglyph trail that runs right through the backyard of our property.

Just outside the landscaped grounds of the Fairway Villas you will find a variety of activities within the Waikoloa Beach Resort area including shopping, a variety of restaurants in the Kings' Shops and Queens' Marketplace (both are easy walking distance from our condo), the Beach, Lakes, and Kings golf courses, and access to the ocean at Anaeho'omalu Bay. Staying in our unit gives guests access to exclusive Gold Membership rates: 18 holes for $75/round (7 a.m. - 9 a.m.), $50/round (after 9 a.m.), club rentals $25/set. Simply state you are staying in a Gold Member unit for the above rates.

Waikoloa Beach Resort provides a central location to base your vacation. We are only 18 miles from Kona International Airport and 25 miles from Kailua-Kona. Whether taking advantage of nearby Hapuna, Kaunaloa (Mauna Kea), or Waialea beaches; touring Volcanoes National Park; hiking into Waipio Valley; snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay next to Captain Cook Monument; shopping in Kona; sipping locally grown coffee; browsing through a farmers markets; photographing spectacular waterfalls; our villa is the perfect base for adventures too numerous to count!

Waikola Fairway Condo

The property is amazing. Very comfortable and clean. Great beaches and tons of stuff to do. Please be sure to fly into Kona Airport. A car rental is important to see the island, but not required. Mahalo and aloha.

Home away from home!

First time visit to The Big Island and the accommodations were the 'icing on the cake'! The condo was very comfortable and homey, and the location was perfect, walking distance to anything you need. Location, Location,Location

Proximity to airport, beaches, golf courses, shopping/grocery, restaurants, and easy drive to excursions and Hilo side of island. The condo was very clean, beds comfortable, lots of amenities. Rapid host response with minor check-in issue. We had a nice relaxing 4 night stay at this Fairway Villas condo and will definitely be booking in the future.

Great Place to Stay

Great location in Waikoloa

Enjoyed staying near A-bay with easy access to beach, shops and golf. We've been to the Kohala coast before and stayed in a traditional resort previously. We found this condo to be much more suitable for us than a typical resort room and appreciated being able to prepare meals in the kitchen. The owners were extremely responsive. The gold membership discount at the attached golf course is a fantastic deal and the included beach accessories with the condo made the week great for the kids.

Well cared for, thoughtful condo in Waikoloa

I stayed at this condo in the Fairway Villas as the Waikoloa with my spouse for about 10 days. We really enjoyed the location (proximity to A-Bay, Queens & Kings shops), the cleanliness, and thoughtfulness of all of the amenities. The family definitely took effort to update and make improvements to decor, appliances, furniture, and it had everything we could need for a stay on Hawai'i Island. The owners were responsive and left helpful instructions and recommendations. We would definitely stay there again.

Very Happy!

Came into the unit and were impressed and stayed impressed throughout the entire 2 week stay. This unit feels like a home instead of a rental. You can tell the care and attention that the owners put into this unit because they have set it up wonderfully. The best review that I can give is that we would definitely stay here again if we return to the Big Island. Thanks again to the owners, David and family!

Wonderful vacation with friends

We stayed from September 26 through October 12, 2019. The place is beautiful near everything you would need as far as shopping and beach gas stations and many restaurants. We stayed at B 22 The owner was absolutely accommodating to everything the pool was out all but 4 to 5 days that we were here but the owner made sure that we were accommodated for this. The Villa is beautiful and has every thing you would ever need inside we enjoyed watching the golfers from our lanai. We enjoyed the stay so much we are looking into buying one for ourselves we thank you for sharing your home with us

Beautiful Villa with everything you could possibly need during your stay!

We loved the property! It was a beautiful villa with all the amenities you could possibly want. Great location and beautiful golf course view from the lanai. We enjoyed relaxing there after a busy day. Located close to the pool, walking distance to the beach, shopping and dining. The property was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of supplies provided for a fun day at the beach. We also appreciated all the resources, pictures and suggested activities the owners provided for our stay on the Big Island. We had a great stay!! We loved it!

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful condo. We loved how spacious it is and how close it was to the shops and restaurants. We arrived very late and the condo was well lit, easy to find with parking,  stairs and elevator very close by. I appreciated the things like laundry detergent,  cleaning supplies, extra hangers and beach towels. It's nice not to have to bring these from home. We had a fantastic time at the pool, driving to Hawi, going to the Pololu lookout, Akaka Falls and Hilo. Dave was prompt, thorough and very easy to work with. We will definitely want to stay here again. Thank you, Dave and family for a memorable vacation!

This one is truly top notch

When entering the condo for the first time we were struck by two things. The view is amazing. Probably one of the best golf course views you will ever see. Panoramic would be one way to describe it. The second element to the property was how clean it was. It looked clean (which is was) and it felt clean. Hard to describe a "feel" like that but it was there. Lots of places to get to easily, as in walking distance. Kings and Queens shops are right around the corner (Kings) and across the street (Queens). A nice plus is the having the sunrise first thing in the morning on the lanai and being able to come back to the condo and enjoy the afternoon with the sun behind the building. Very relaxing. I highly recommend this property.

Great location, well equipped

First some of the positives: This condo is in a great location. We walked almost daily to the Queens Marketplace or Kings Complex for coffee, food or shopping. The check in process was easy since the owner uses an electronic keypad for entry (which is also nice not to have to keep track of a key). The condo is situated nicely in the complex, near the pool (nice pool with lots of seating) and gym and the parking spot was very close. The beach supplies were great! A cooler, chairs, boogie boards, toys, snorkels, masks, fins, towels... didn't need to bring anything in that arena. Now some of the negatives: The condo is need of some repair - broken blinds, worn out cookware, broken bathtub stoppers, broken towel rack. The elevator was out of service when we were there - so lugging coolers, strollers, kids and bags up the stairs was a little tricky. I tend to be very particular, but the cleanliness was pretty sub-par. I'll elaborate directly with the owner - but nothing bad enough to dissuade me from staying again. Finally, the lanai was nice, but sort of noisy with early morning (5:30am) golf course maintenance and the AC unit is on the lanai so it's noisy when you're out there and it's running. All-in-all, we were very grateful for our stay. It was a great price and we would definitely stay there again.

The Best!

We were very impressed with the unit's condition, furnishing, amenities, and provisions. From the things that are usually not provided (laundry detergent, beach equipment, rice cooker, Keurig pods), to the Owner's recommendations on sights and activities, guest book information, Owner's photo album, guide books, card games, macadamia nuts). Impressive. The Owner's fine touches even extend to the check-in process upon approach and arrival at the unit (warning of the dark keypad at the entry gate, flashlight provided at the unit's gate to see the lockbox, and even a small coral rock to hold the gate open). Be careful when approaching the complex's entry gate in mid morning when the complex has their irrigation system on. It made for a good laugh with our family as I got wet reaching out for the keypad. The infinity pool and exercise room are beautiful. It's the whole context and surrounding of this unit that adds to the high value. Waikoloa is an upscale, historic area, with many ecological features that you can experience. The entire complex is beautiful, quiet, and convenient to both Waikoloa Resort Shopping Centers (Queen's Court, and Kings Court) within walking distance. Petroglyphs, Anchialine Ponds, Anaeho'omalu historic fishpond and beach, are very nearby. We would highly recommend this property, and in fact, have already done so with folks we met on our trip who asked where we were staying. We explored beaches such as Hapuna, Kua (or at least we thought it was until we found out it was a different beach); and places such as Waimea Town, Honokaa Town, Kawaihae's Shave Ice Truck, Hualalai Resort (Ulu Ocean Grill has to be one of the best we have experienced, staff was most courteous and the food outstanding. The Hualalai Resort setting is tremendous with its ecological features). We also explored the Hilton Waikoloa Resort, very different than Hualalai as Chris Hemeter developed a grand scale resort with exotic art pieces from around the world. Hualalai Resort is low key, simple in its buildings, but the site, grounds, and ecological features is what makes that resort. A must do when weather permits, is the hike to the lava flow down in Kalapana. Exploring Hawaii Volcanoe's National Park and its many trails is rewarding. Stop and see the Nene, native plants, lava tubes, lava tree molds, and experience the power of Pele. Don't forget quiet, Hilo town for a slower paced, historic small town experience.

We are so pleased you enjoyed our villa. But as important to us is your report on how much you enjoyed the island. We love the island and hope our guests will love it too. We also hope future guests will take note of your enjoyment of specific excellent beaches and other sights. Incidentally, you did go to Kua Beach. Recently, it was renamed Manini'owali Beach. Fairway Villas is a tiny piece of paradise in the heart of Waikoloa Beach Resort. We enjoy the pool, workout space, easy parking, and the beautiful grounds.
