Great place

This was a great place to stay. Beachy cute decor, very well equipped, fantastic location, warm, welcoming and comfortable. It is a great location, close to eating and shopping. But it only has 2 1/2 baths. Ad states 3 showers, but there are only 2. Other than that, it was as described. We would definately stay there again and recommend.

Another great stay

This was my second stay at this location. Last year was with my husband’s family and this year was with mine. We had a great time. Communication with the owner was easy. She responded very quickly to any questions and concerns I had. The location is great. We would definitely consider a third stay!

Wonderful Stay

We had an amazing time! I’ve been coming to Port Aransas almost all my life. I was able to show my husbands family around, as it was their first time ever going to a beach. On top of that we were able to stay in this wonderful condo. It was exactly as advertised. Whenever I had a question, I was answered promptly and with the utmost professionalism. Loved it here. We plan on returning soon.

The place was immaculate with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evenings eating dinner and swimming in the pool with the kids at the end of our day. Plenty of towels were provided for our large group. We would absolutely stay again and again.

Needs a little improvement here and there, but overall accommodations were good. Microwave broke half way through trio, we did see roaches in kitchen and the mattresses are extremely hard. If it weren't for THR mattresses, we would rebook.

Lots of room to spread out and relax and play games. The location is amazing! A short golf cart ride to the beach. You could even walk it if you wanted to. Close to all the activity, but in a location that was quite and relaxing. We will definitely being staying at Alden's Anchor again! We had a great time!

The patio was quiet and a great place to take in breakfast or an evening glass of wine. We were conveniently located near the main road to grab some essentials that we left home without. And, the beach as was a pleasant walk from the property. The garage areas offered great place to secure bikes and some beach chairs, etc. We've already talked about our next visit. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Amazing

I had trouble getting in the house at first but they immediately responded and helped me. Yes boots the alligator was in the canal at night time we saw him. I was nervous at first when I heard about that but honestly it was nothing at all. He was just peaceful keeping to himself when we would drive by him. My kids loved staying here and habe asked to go back every year now. Which we will be doing now. Highly recommend staying here! Only downfall was when we arrived the air was at 91 degrees so it was a hot first night getting it cooled off but it did not default anything for us. We will absolutely be back again!

The Great Escape

Reviewer Comments: I appreciated learning how the garage door worked and being kept cool by the ice cold air that was experienced as the A/C was auto programmed to all times of the day with the coldest being tuned in at midnight. I appreciated the much needed change of scenery and experience. I hope that I would have the opportunity to return on any weekdays or weekends NOT being the 1st, 3rd or 5th weekends. My VERY favorite new store is Mrs. Woody's and next time I am able to enjoy the Port A beach area, this lovely boutique will be on my permanent stop to shop every time I'm in the area. It was a great place to getaway and enjoy early morning sunrises.

Reviewer Comments: As a long time traveler and a partaker of some fantastic vacations, I believe that this sweet beach house is one to make note of for your next trip. My family and I loved the location. This beach house is just a few steps away from the pool and walking distance from all the fun shops, grocery store, and Spanky’s! You can ride your bike, rented golf cart, or car to the beach within minutes. The house is also equipped with wireless internet and two smart TVs, which came in handy when I needed to settle down my two little ones. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook your catch of the day, and the spacious patio includes a grill. My family played RummiCube and Dominoes out on the patio every night – so fun! What I also liked about the house was the fact it had a very fun beach theme. Once you stay here, this will be your new favorite vacation destination! Perfect for a family getaway!
