My husband Leo and I discovered this fantastic home and sleepy little fishing village while attending a wedding in Puerto Vallarta. We came home from the wedding owning a vacation home that has far exceeded our dreams. No more shoveling snow in cold Michigan winters for us! We've exchanged snow boots for sandals and hot chocolate for blended margaritas in the beach. We are happy to share this with you.

Leo and I never planned on buying a vacation home in Mexico. With both of us facing retirement and wondering what life adventures were ahead of us, we knew we had found our path the day we saw this elegant home. The adventure began and we've never looked back. Our family gathers here every years and we never complain about the weather, the hot sand below your feet, the smell of the waves, the price of an avocado, or the endless availability of fresh fish and shrimp. This is heaven.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
Casa Zanoni was built in 1995 and designed as a wonderful mix of traditional Mexican architecture and modern accommodations. The interior colors and artwork reflect many features of a traditional Mexican Villa. The layout of the house adds modern upgrades especially in an open floor plan and extensive kitchen where people can't resist gathering, cooking, and participating in the flavors of Mexico. The kitchen and baths are covered in Telavera tile from Guadalajara and the floors are the warm, deep red Saltillo tiles this area of Mexico is known for. One entire side of the house opens to the exterior covered patio creating a flow of indoor and outdoor spaces, cool shade, and soft breezes. The patio overlooks a private garden and offers the best place for family gatherings and memorable meals. Each bedroom has a private bath and are just the right size for comfort and privacy.
The exterior of the house is built with a locally quarried reddish-pink stone matching the colors of the sunset and the Saltillo tile throughout. No other home in the area has this stonework so prominently displayed as a part of the architecture. Brick walls enclose the main entry with a wrought-iron gateway and lighted arbor. And with one step outside the main gates, you find yourself on the sought after restaurant and gallery stroll Bucerias is known for.
One of the best part of this house is its proximity to the beach. Casa Zanoni has privacy from the sounds and excitement of the beautiful community pool while also just a few steps away from miles of beach and surf. Out of eight homes in the complex, Casa Zanoni is one of only two homes with private gardens and enclosed, locked patios surrounded in artistic wrought-iron work. It is safe, private, and all yours to love.

Friends sharing Casa Zanoni have commented on how easily six adults can occupy the house and still feel they have an option to enjoy social exchanges or quiet and restful time while everyone is under the same roof. Casa Zanoni is three blocks from a new and modern hospital, four blocks from a major grocery store, close to several taxi cab stands, and of course a few steps from the beach. Walk to whatever you want.
