Swim, surf, kayak, fish, build a castle in the sand! Play in tide pools and catch a crab or a starfish; walk the beach in the moonlight or gather seashells by day. Mizzentop`s first floor includes a large dining/sitting room, fully equipped kitchen, Great Room with 42” screen TV, DVD and VCR, lavette (half bath) and laundry room. There is a separate pantry with freezer/ refrigerator. A special feature is the bath house with hot water shower and 2 dressing stalls. The second floor houses a large master bedroom with a queen size bed and picture window with panoramic view; full bath, two bedrooms (each with a set of twin beds) plus a fourth bedroom with a queen size bed. *Interesting historical note: Mizzentop was so named for the mizzenmast on schooners which are often spotted on Bonnet Bay as they sail past the lighthouse out of Newport Harbor. Sea captain`s wives, in days gone by, watched for their husband`s return and the first sighting of the very top of the ship`s mizzenmast as it appeared on the horizon.
