This was the perfect rental for our New England adventure celebrating America’s 250th birthday! All three families - adults and kids alike - really enjoyed the home and property! While there we spent a lot of time in the large rec room, playing games, shooting pool, foosball, and watching movies & FIFA World Cup on the huge TV. Outside, we enjoyed the large pool (14ft. deep end!), very nice fireplace (s’mores!), and grilled lots of good food. The kids enjoyed the paths in the woods behind the house both during the day and at nighttime with flashlights visiting the historic cemetery not far from the grounds. We also had a short walk through those woods to a cute little beach (PERFECT for my sunrise photo on July 4th!). We had very short drives to explore local areas like Jamestown & Newport, nearby beaches (Narragansett & Scarborough) (plenty of beach chairs provided along w a collapsible wagon, beach umbrella, and buckets / shovels for fun in the sand), and on two separate days made the relatively short drive (1hr 20min) to Boston to explore the Freedom Trail and take in a Red Sox game.Communication w the host was quick, easy, and friendly, and I’d definitely recommend this property for your own family’s New England adventure!
