We were at the Bonita Bay Club for a wedding. The condo was conveniently located near the front gate. We were able to walk to all of the onsite events. The condo was well appointed with linens, beach chairs, cleaning supplies etc
We absolutely loved the property and the location. The other renters in the complex were all very friendly and we had great conversations. The property owner was extremely prompt with answering questions. No issues whatsoever; loved our time in Wild Pines.
Love the neighborhood. Host was very accommodating. This unit is way past needing some sprucing up, and the great room and dining furniture was the most uncomfortable I've ever come across in a rental.

The great room furniture (sectional sofa) is being replaced during the summer off-season of 2025. Dining chair cushions are being purchased as well.
This is our second time staying in the Bonita Bay community. We love the shaded wide walking paths that are very bike friendly as well. Complimentary kayaking, walkable to the Promenade, small shopping center with Center bar and DeRomos restaurant. Condo had updated decor and fully stocked with amenities. Master bath was updated with nice tile and walk in shower but pedestal sink set up wasn’t enough usable storage and space so the guest bath was all mine, hubby had master bath. Bed was very comfortable and hosts were very attentive. Would highly recommend!

Nice location, excellent walking paths. (would have liked bikes) Condo
was clean. Lacked a dresser for storage in Master Bedroom and a clock in the living/kitchen area. Loved the beach and the umbrella chairs. Everything on the property is secluded looking. Watch out for snakes however.

There is a bike rental business located directly across the street called Bonita Bike and Baby. Most owners of Wild Pines units that offer their guest's bikes, tend to have rusted bikes and dry rotted tires. The Florida high heat and humidity deteriorate bikes quite quickly. This is due to the fact that all bikes are stored outside at the bike racks of every building. As a result, I don't offer bikes to my guests due to quality.
With regard to the dresser, the closet in the master bedroom has been customized with several shelves for storage and is not a typical 'hangers only' type of closet. For month long stays, there is a dresser located in the guest bedroom for additional storage, if needed.
In the kitchen, there are three clocks (on the microwave, coffee maker, and stove) as well as a clock on the television in the living area.
The property does not have an abnormal amount of snakes and is similar to any other community in south Florida. The community was built as an environmentally friendly property and has won several awards for their environmental stewardship and sensitivity to ecosystems.
Lastly, thanks for reading and have a great day!
Communication and details given were perfect. The place was sparkling clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were to die for. The community was pretty and well kept. The private beach was convenient and felt safe as it’s not crowded. They limit capacity to 80 so the first day we got there too late and had to look for an alternate beach. It was July 4th so I guess it was unusually crowded. Thank goodness we had chairs and an umbrella in the car so drove down the road to the Lovers Key state park beach entrance just prior to the Estero beach and found parking and a fantastic little beach. I loved Bonita Springs because is quiet and we found some nice restaurants. It perfectly sits between Naples and Estero so short drive to the busier towns with a lot more dining and entertainment choices.
Loved Bonita Bay with its lush tropical landscaping. Very quiet complex in Wild Pines. Close to area beaches and restaurants. Condo was very clean and well equipped. Owner was very responsive. Master bed was very comfortable although couldn’t sleep on the hard pillows. Pillows on twin beds were much better. Couch in living room needs to be replaced as there’s no support in the cushions. Master shower was walk in and had great water pressure. Toilets could be a little higher. Curtain option in living room would be nice to have for more privacy. Many TV options available and good WIFI. Gas grills available for guests. Pool and hot tub could be cleaner. Private beach nice for sunsets. Loved walking by and smelling the blooming gardenia shrub as you enter the courtyard. Much better option than staying at a hotel.
One of the best properties I have stayed at! Unit has everything you need for your stay, and very well maintained. Location was perfect, close to beaches, Naples and Ft. Myers. Will definitely return!
I will never stay anywhere else when I come to Bonita Bay. The owner was so easy to work with, he made sure we have everything we needed and went over and above. The condo was clean, spacious, and had lots of amenities. The pool was gorgeous. We rented bikes on the paths around the property. The grounds are out of this world, so much flora and fauna. You cannot go wrong with this place
This condo has everything we could have hoped for! So well maintained, great location and Brett was extremely helpful in his communication leading up to and including our stay! We can’t wait until next April!!!
This stay was wonderful. The shuttle to the private beach was a window perk. The condo was clean, comfortable, and as advertised. We all enjoyed our time here. We can’t wait to come back!!
The condo is PERFECT!
Our group consisted of my 82 year old mother, my cousin and her wife, and me. Girls' week was TERRIFIC! We all enjoyed the screened in lanai, but Mom, in particular, LOVED IT and spent tons of time watching birds, squirrels and iguanas!
The bedrooms were comfy and well situated; the kitchen well appointed; the living/eating space comfortably accommodated us all.
Located just across from the entrance is Publix and other shopping. There are lots of smaller beaches with few people on them that were just perfect for Mom to walk on. We hope to return at some point, as we all enjoyed it!

My wife and I were both born and raised in Illinois and we currently live in the North Shore suburbs of Chicago. She is a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse and I manage golf courses for the Chicago Park District. We have two small children that keep us on the go. We love our summers and fall here, but there is nothing like wearing flip flops in the middle of winter in Florida! We have furnished and equipped the condo like it's our second home, so the experience is like being in your own home for all the couples and families that have the ability to enjoy it!
Why they chose this property
A gated community and close proximity to the Gulf of Mexico was a must. Bonita Bay is a master planned community that rivals or is equal to anything that Southwest Florida has to offer, including Naples! I bought the condo when I was in my 20's as I was so impressed with all that the amenity driven community had to offer. From the courtyard building to the beautiful landscaping, I was quite impressed with Wild Pines and Bonita Bay overall. The all concrete building construction was a nice bonus too. Even the ceilings inside the condo are solid concrete. Lastly, it was about the overall experience and way of life for me. Whether you live full time, part time, or simply just vacationing, Bonita Bay is truly an oasis and a different way of life. You feel like you're in your own little secluded village when you're behind the gates. The community provides a tropical getaway that is so hard to explain on a webpage. You truly have to experience it for yourself to appreciate the 2400 acres of private land, half of which is dedicated to native landscape and golf courses. From the twelve miles of walking/biking paths to the boardwalks to the private beach, it's something to create lasting memories for all that experience it :-)
