What a wonderful place to stay for a long weekend for our daughter’s wedding. We had time to enjoy each other’s company in such a beautifully relaxing place. We had plenty of room for the bridesmaids to get hair and makeup done the morning of.

Wow—what an amazing place! We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our son’s wedding in Pepin. The Maiden Rock Retreat was perfect for our group and is a wonderful option for accommodating large groups or multiple families.Deb, the host, was fantastic! She was so accommodating and helpful throughout our entire stay. A few months before our visit, she gave us a tour of the property, which was incredibly helpful as we planned for the wedding and figured out how everything would work for our group. She was also very responsive to all of our questions and even let us borrow a ladder when we needed one. Her hospitality truly went above and beyond.So many family members commented on how wonderful the retreat was and how much they enjoyed staying there. It really gave everyone a comfortable place to relax, gather, and enjoy time together during such a special weekend.We also loved the location. Although Maiden Rock is a small town, but there are a few great restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food options nearby, which was especially convenient with a large group.If you’re planning a wedding in the Pepin area, traveling with multiple families, or simply looking for a wonderful place to gather with a larger group, we highly recommend the Maiden Rock Retreat. This place is amazing. It has everything you need for fun and entertainment or a relaxing evening by the fire. There are so many events you could host here from football viewing to weddings. Deb was quick to respond to any questions. We will no doubt be back.

We absolutely loved the character of this place and all of the space! Room were comfy, clean, and welcoming. The host was exceptional and went over and beyond in assisting us to prepare for our guests. The gathering spaces were perfect for our wedding rehearsal and dinner! We plan to be back!

Great place to stay especially with a lot of people!

Perfect for entertaining, we used this space to get ready for hair in makeup for our wedding and it was perfect! Great place to entertain, and has lots of space!

This a really unique rental. Absolutely loved everything about it. We used the event space to host our grooms dinner and a base for people to gather before and after our sons wedding. Everyone loved this space and we all had a great time!

We had a big group staying in Maiden Rock and this place was perfect. It was beautiful, not to mention perfectly clean and well-stocked with everything you might need. Deb was very responsive throughout our entire stay. I would highly recommend it!

I booked this beautiful home and event venue for my daughter’s wedding in October. The spacious rooms and apartments easily accommodated the 12 people staying here. I held the “Friday Night Welcome Reception” for 75 people here prior to the wedding at Hidden Meadow and Varn
