Steps away from Timber Chair you will find a modern, cozy, 5 bedroom home perfect for your family reunion or holiday with friends. Open concept top floor living area includes gourmet kitchen, dining table seating 10-12, ample living room with gas fireplace and a rec room with pool table and ping pong topper. Just off the living room is an outdoor living space with spectacular views of the valley. The back deck has additional living space, outdoor dining, bar area and an 8 person covered private hot tub.

One floor down, 5 bedrooms and pullout in den allow for up to 16 to sleep comfortably. 3 full baths, two half baths, high quality beds and linens ensure ultimate comfort.

Child friendly amenities such as footstools, nightlights, plastic dish ware, travel crib, feeding chair, change table, plenty of toys and games with fast wifi throughout allow enjoyment for everyone young and old.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please remove garbage to depot just up the ski hill road.
Please do not strip beds - our cleaners prefer to do it themselves.
Please load and start dishwasher.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please never sit on deck railings and watch children near deck railing. Also please do not sit on or place drinks on half wall in rec room.
Grizzly bears in area - never leave food unattended and burn off all barbecue residue after use to avoid unwanted visitors
Quiet hours 11pm-7am. Please supervise children in hot tub and never climb on hot tub cover. Maximum Occupancy of property is 25 people.

Modern and spacious chalet next to Fernie slopes. The location is perfect. Comfortable and clean beds and bathrooms. Luxurious master ensuite. One minor note to the cooks: the kitchen lacks herbs and spices which I’ve come to expect from other high-end rentals. Bring your own supply of essentials.

My family loved this awesome big house

It was so wonderful for me and my 4 children and their families to all live together in this amazing house on the ski hill for 4 nights. It was so clean and well stocked with all the necessities.

What a place!

We stayed here with a group of 14 and had an incredible time. The kitchen was very well stocked, the beds were super comfortable, and there was plenty of space to truly relax. I especially loved the layout—with all the bedrooms on one floor and the kitchen and living area on another, it worked perfectly for our group. We had a great time playing bocce in the backyard after days spent in the mountains. This place is truly a gem, and we would definitely try to book it again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

LOTS OF ROOM

Loved this place. We had 11 people and everyone had comfortable sleeping with lots of space to sit as a group or be on your own. Kitchen was fully stocked with lots of plates, glasses and serving dishes. Great location for getting to and from the mountain.

Great Trip!

Thanks Carolyn. We had a couple hiccups with the hot tub during our stay. Carolyn was quick to remedy and gave us updates as to when it would be done. Timing didn’t work for a bunch of our group but we were taken care of appropriately. Otherwise the house was perfect for a group and can’t beat the location!

Fantastic location right next to the Ski hill

Fantastic property with so many amenities. The location is seriously fantastic and the house had everything we needed - enough beds, washrooms, etc. Those in our group that wanted to ski hit the hill without any issue, and those who didn't stayed back and played ping-pong, pool, and used the large hot tub. We had such a good time here. For those wondering - is it really ski-in/ski-out? Basically yes. There IS a road that needs to be crossed one house away from this VRBO but that's it. You basically walk a few yards, cross the (not busy road) and you're on the ski hill. We strapped on our skis and made it down to the ski lift immediately. It was seriously perfect. The hosts were also super communicative and friendly. I would seriously recommend this place for any large group.

Sad Ending to a Ski Trip

House surrounded with constructions. Noise and not clean in the neighborhood. After paying over $8000 for 4 nights, and making sure the house was left clean, the owner asked for $100 extra for having left food and full bottles of alcohol we had left intentionally for the cleaning people. We were told that the place had been left with excess garbage when we had carefully cleaned every room before leaving. We were all very responsible adults over 50 years old. I think it is a scam and ways to extract more money from renters as we had left the place perfectly clean having done many trips to the main garbage facilities. Also lack of understanding of owner claiming that they had to pay someone to reconnect a smoke detector. This smoke detector had to be disconnected in the middle of the night after having waking us all with constant beeping. Sad ending and mismanagement by owner for $100.

Lots of amenities and lots of room

Not quite a true ski in ski out. About 200 m to nearest lift. You can ski back probably half that distance if you take the right runs. That’s the only minor issue we had. House is fantastic. Clean and very well stocked with kitchen items and toys for kids. Gorgeous views and nice extras like generous amounts of towels and heated bathroom floors. Would definitely stay again.

Great Beautiful modern house, with all the amenities of home, even a beautiful lite, decorated Xmas tree! Our family enjoyed the location of pool table off the living room as it could be enjoyed by! Hot tub great location to relax after a day of skiing! Would definitely come back!!

Fernie Ski Weekend

Great modern Fernie Ski-in-out. Great layout and views. Definitely come back again. However, kitchen could be better stocked and cleaner, found wrong coffee filters for coffee machine, coffee machine and espresso machine were very dirty took is 30 mins to clean. Many of the towels smelled of tobacco - likely there were extras that were clean. Great property probable a change of cleaning contractor would make it a 5 star property. Cheers,

Beautiful House and Fabulous Location

The stunning house wash perfect for our family to stay on the ski hill. The photos are exactly as shown and even more beautiful in person. So handy to have ski in / out option for skiing and eating at your own place. The kitchen was very well equipped. The pool table and ping pong option was great entertainment after a day of skiing. We will definitely be booking again. Thanks for the chance for us to share in this beautiful home.
