This property was well positioned and had great facilities for a family. My only 'even better if' would be a lock on the toilet door as the door kept coming open when in use! We will stay again.

Perfect boulderhome

It is abolutely perfect place to stay for a boulder trip. Very friendly host, who even allowed to bring 9 people where only 8 were offered. Would love to stay there again!

Great stay!

Charming cottage, comfortable, beautiful area and village, friendly host, house is full of character but also has all equipment needed, like oven, dish washer, washing machine, etc. We would definitely go again!

To get it out of the way, the only negative thing was that 1 of the double rooms is only accessable via one of the other double rooms, just something worth being aware of.With that out of the way, the property was a great space as a base for a climbing trip, the kitchen was well stocked, there is a bakery a short walk away which we made great use of and the Éléphant climbing area is within an easy walking distance as well with plenty more areas a short drive away.The outside dining area is nice and actually a lot more open than the photos make it appear as it is a private area within a shared courtyard.The host was lovely and accomodating to our arrival and departure times, we would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful home in a charming village

This is a beautiful home in a great location. Easy walk of less than 1k to Elephant climbing area. The kitchen was well stocked and the semi private courtyard was great for meals and relaxing outdoors.

A very enjoyable stay in the French countryside

On entering the house, we were instantly surprised by the size of the property. The photographs do not reflect what a lovely, spacious and delightful house this is. There is also an additional toilet which we were delighted to find. Alain is a very friendly and attentive host who made sure that we had everything we needed for our two week stay. The village has a bakery and a small general store selling organic and regional products and we enjoyed walking around the village exploring its history. The church at the centre of the village is very atmospheric and well worth visiting. We also visited the climbing area and went for walks in the nearby forest. The town of Nemours is a short drive away with several supermarkets and a train station which has a direct train to Paris. We visited Orleans and Parc Asterix, both of which are easy drives from the house. Our family of five had a wonderful holiday and were sad to leave and we are happy to recommend this delightful home to anyone who loves a quiet location with opportunities to venture further away. Thank you Alain.

Séjour formidable

Le gîte était parfait pour nous, très tranquil, il y avait tout qui nous fallait. La deuxième douche/toilette était un grand plus. Une forêt magnifique pour faire des randonnés se trouve à proximité. Même les enfants ont aimé de se proméner dans cette forêt!

Le matériel mis à notre disposition trop restreint ex papier toilette huile vinaigre etc

Propriétaire mesquin nous avons dû quitter la maison un jour avant le jour prévu néanmoins il nous a demandé 10€ de surplus pour l’électricité C’est dommage car la maison est magnifique D’autre part sur l’annonce il y a 4 chambres annoncées or il n’y en a que 3 Cela m’a beaucoup contrarié

je suis ahuri par votre mauvaise foi, votre manière hypocrite et mensongère. Vous faites un déni de réalité, alors que tout indique le contraire. 1° Notre maison possède bien 4 chambres et les nombreux clients venus avant vous ont apprécié la qualité, la modernité de nos chambres. 2° Le règlement intérieur de nos gites stipule que nous 'acceptons pas le rechargement des véhicules électriques et que des bornes de recharges se trouvent à 200m de notre Gite. Malgré cela, vous avez rechargé votre véhicule électrique à 3 reprises, et, par la même, réussi à faire sauter le disjoncteur et couper le courant général. Pour preuve, vous m'avez envoyé un sms disant:" bonjour, visiblement, les plombs ont sauté, où est la boite électrique? svp. De plus surpris dans votre maifait, vous m'avez adressé un SMS disant: "Bonjour, je voulais vous prévenir que j'ai branché ma voiture électrique en utilisant une prise électrique de votre logement. Je peux vous indemniser de 10 €uros. Je trouve effectivement que c'est mesquin de ne me verser que 10 €uros pour 3 recharges électriques dans la semaine... 3° En ce qui concerne votre départ qui était prévu le vendredi matin, vous m'avez adressé un SMS le mercredi soir me disant: "nous allons partir demain à 17h, comment s'organise t'on pour rendre les clefs? En aucun cas, je ne vous ai obligé à partir plus tôt. Votre départ a été de votre propre responsabilité. Nous vous avons, comme avec tous nos clients, toujours apporté un service de qualité, nous avons toujours été courtois et respectueux.

Gîte très fonctionnel dans un village hors du temps

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Larchant. Alain et son épouse ont été des hôtes remarquables. Nous étions avec nos 3 jeunes enfants et avons apprécié le calme et l’espace que propose ce gîte tout confort et de bon goût. Le gîte est par ailleurs idéalement situé pour rejoindre les itinéraires de randonnées et d’escalade dans la forêt de la Commanderie. Le village de Larchant est aussi très sympa. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Wir waren mit allem rundum zufrieden und hatten einen freundlichen, hilfsbereiten Vermieter. Nur die Beschreibung des Hauses war nicht ganz eindeutig: das vierte Schlafzimmer ist nicht wirklich getrennt von dem anderen zu erreichen von einem Schlafzimmer über eine Treppe zu einer offenen Empore

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit viel Platz. Bouldergebiet L'Éléphant in Gehdistanz, Bäckerei in unmittelbarer Nähe. Gemütlicher Gartensitzplatz im Innenhof, Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustüre. Netter Vermieter. Nicht ganz billig, ist seinen Preis aber wert.
