The Big kahuna is the perfect house for a relaxing stay and it's near everything. The host was very responsive and the place is immaculate with everything you need for a perfect weekend! Will definitely be coming back again!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The host was very responsive and accommodating. The location was perfect! There were plenty of restaurants very close by. There were 7 adults in my party, and more than enough room for everyone. The back yard and deck area was such a fun place to hang out and watch college football on Saturday. I would love to stay at your home again in the future!

Quiet neighborhood in Mount Pleasant; easy to get into Charleston and plenty of really good restaurants nearby in Mt. Pleasant. House was perfect size for our family.

The place was clean. but definitely needing some up dating. The kitchen was very small and the kitchen- drawers and cabinets were broken falling off the hinges, same with the furniture in the bathrooms. Master bathroom shower glass door was missing so had only one side with glass, had to continue mopping up water.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the home clean. We were surprised to read these concerns, as none of them were mentioned to us at any point during your stay. Had we been contacted about a loose cabinet hinge or any issue with the shower, we would have been happy to address it immediately. The home was completely renovated in 2021 and is maintained to modern standards, so we were also surprised by the comment that it is in need of updating. The kitchen size and layout are accurately represented in our listing photos so guests can see exactly what to expect before booking. We would also like to clarify that there is no “bathroom furniture” in the home, so we are unsure what that portion of the review is referring to. The property includes a number of upgrades and amenities that were not mentioned in the review, including a large rear deck, outdoor cooking area, outdoor television, and extensive landscape lighting. We have received numerous 5-star reviews both before and after this guest’s stay, which we believe better reflects the experience the overwhelming majority of our guests have at the property. We work hard to maintain the home and provide a clean, comfortable stay. We always encourage guests to contact us during their visit if something needs attention so we have the opportunity to address it immediately rather than learning about it for the first time in a review.

The place was perfect for my 3 buddies & I from high school. We were celebrating our 70th birthday's. We saw a concert at the Refinery and if the band plays there next year we will be back!

Four of us stayed at Ric's house for several days while we were at the Charleston Open. The house is in a cute, quiet neighborhood and is convenient to everything: great restaurants and the tennis tournament. The rooms were very comfortable, and the living space was perfect for the four of us.

Great location and excellent property for 7 friends getting together. We ate out but had coffee in mornings and drinks at night at the house. Thankful the living room was larger than it appeared in the pics. I’d say great for families as you can spread out

Perfect for a family

Charleston city proper was a convenient 15 minute car ride. We did this drive everyday easily. However, first day lunch at Shem Creek in Mt Pleasant. Sullivan Island beach a 10 minute( if that ) ride away. Host very responsive on 2 questions I had while there. Highly highly recommend. Tons of bedrooms which was great.
