Very peaceful, great property. Plenty of space, the lake was a great touch. Within a few minutes from anything you need. Kids had a great time, my 8 year old caught his first fish. Would definitely stay again in thr future.

This cottage was the best place ever to celebrate our Mother’s 90th birthday in Powhatan. Heather, the host, is amazing and answered texts readily. The place was clean and welcoming. Two thumbs up for sure!!

Lovely home in a convenient location. At the time, it was decorated for Christmas so was beautiful! It does need some added items in the kitchen (additional utensils and silverware, and a casserole dish would be great) but nothing that took away from the visit.

Perfect wedding weekend house!

This was great for our family to be able to stay close by as we got married in town. Plenty of space to spread out and activities. The kids loved fishing off the dock and playing pool!

We were in town for a friends wedding. This was close to the venue and big enough for our whole group! House was great and the property is so cool! Despite being on a main road it was very quiet. Definitely recommend!

The house itself was so much better than advertised. Spacious and homey. The many little touches including decor, coffee service, and toiletries may our stay easy and comfortable. Our family totally enjoyed the stay!

Perfect bridal shower

This property was the perfect place to host my daughter’s bridal shower. It’s absolutely beautiful - comfortable bedrooms for the stay, fishing from the docks and playing pool for the guys and beautiful spaces for the shower. The host was responsive, super helpful and friendly. Loved it !

This house was adorable. Beautiful home and outdoor area. It is located right off the road but you could only hear car noise from front porch. Cute dock and wooded area to explore with kids. Great for a short family getaway!

Family Christmas

Amazingly perfect set up for multiple couples to enjoy family time together! Fishing was a lot of fun on the dock and the pool table and ping pong table were a hit. Stunning Christmas tree by the fireplace was great for pictures. The first vacation for our family as adult couples and it was the perfect house for this.
