Picture yourself above it all -- Wake each morning to a spectacular view of Longs Peak rising high to the south, with the dominating Continental Divide skyline to the west. Fill your days with energetic hikes or relaxing walks. Explore the wonders of Rocky Mountain National Park, enjoy a shopping spree in downtown Estes Park, take a refreshing dip in the pool, or simply relax on the wide-open front porch. Evenings bring a peaceful lull in the activity — this is the time to watch for deer and elk browsing just outside of the cabin, enjoy a barbecue dinner on the porch, or snuggle up by a crackling fire. Experience the joy, excitement and relaxation of a mountain vacation.

Trail Ridge Cabin is a warm, pleasant, cozy cabin-away-from-home perfectly situated between downtown Estes Park and the south entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. The sunny, south-facing front porch offers incomparable views of Longs Peak and the Continental Divide, with similar picture window views from the living room. Wildlife such as hummingbirds, deer and elk are frequent visitors to this quiet, picturesque cabin community, located well off of the highway on the west side of Estes Park. This one-bedroom cabin includes a full kitchen (including microwave and gas range/oven), full bath, and large porch.

Trail Ridge Cabin is located just a half mile east of the Rocky Mountain National Park boundary, with foot access to trails into the Park and down into Estes Park. The RMNP Visitor's Center is within close walking distance down the hill. Distance to the official South Entrance station is about 1.5 miles by foot and less than 3 miles by car. The center of downtown Estes Park is about 2 miles by the highway, with many other shops and restaurants along the way. Cozy, clean, comfortable cabin

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved staying at the Trail Ridge cabin. It's location is ideal. Right at the feet of Rocky Moutain National Park and minutes from Estes Park. The cabin was sunny, comfortable and clean! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck after a day of hiking and taking in all exquisite scenery. The wildlife cruising by was also a treat. We're already planning our return. Thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have been renting cabins for over 30 years. This cabin was the most clean and well stocked cabin that we ever have been in. The views will take your breath away. Just sitting by the fire and looking out the window was so peaceful. They were not kidding when they said it was so close to the entrance to the Rockies. The first thing was all the Elk that were right down the road and all surrounding the cabin. The Mule Deer were also everywhere. We visited when it was very empty around town, but we loved the peace and quiet. One tip, go to Sprague Lake. We encountered some Moose right on the trail. Beautiful. We will definitely stay at this cabin in the future. Thank you so much for having such a comfortable, clean cabin. Just a warning, we both encountered altitude sickness for 4 days. UGH!!! Drink lots of water!!!

Best Little Cabin Ever

  • 5 of 5

We had such a wonderful time at Trail Ridge Cabin! All comments from previous guests are 100% true! Extremely cozy and clean! My toddler loved playing with the little horse found in the kitchen (if it was left for us on purpose, thank you so much!), and hanging out at the front porch. We could have spent the entire day sitting in the living room, enjoying such extraordinary view! Our visit was just too short, but luckily we live just 1 1/2 h away from this amazing place and we will certainly be back this winter! Thank you Sallie and Jay for sharing your place with our family. See you soon!

Perfect cozy cabin practically in RMNP

  • 5 of 5

Location- spitting distance from the RMNP entrance. Quiet, very low key area of small cabins; no condos, no McMansions nearby. There is some nice hiking into the Park right out the back door.

Very nicely appointed- tiny and functional kitchen with complete set dishware/cookware as well as salt/pepper etc. (hate when that isn't there). Comfortable bed. Never used the TV but it looked big and flat.

Nice communal pool nearby.

The perfect place to stay if you want a quiet, comfortable retreat while visiting the area.

Poster place for value vrbo

  • 5 of 5

Ok... Let's get right to the point: this little cabin is everything a rental place should be! The location in connection with RMNP is perfect. The quality and cleanliness of the cabin was superb. We had a family of five, so it was a little tight, but it was more than manageable. The place was quiet and worth every penny we paid. Having a view out the front window/porch of the Rockies was priceless. If you are looking for a great value cabin at RMNP, look no further.

Perfect place!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is the place to stay in Estes Park. Inside is cozy and super clean. It has all the conveniences of home too. We stayed for a week and bought groceries and had breakfast and dinner at the cabin to save money. The views from the cabin are beautiful too. Right outside RMNP and close to town too it was the perfect place to stay. I highly recommend it!
