Wonderful living for temporary furnished housing. Harmony with nature is on the beach area and adjoining pond, home to an abundance of wildlife. Beach is private for walks and leads to a short public wooded hiking trail. Privately located on a dead end street. Outside, bicycle or walk the newly completed and nearby 17-mile canal front trail. Bring your kayak, bicycles and leave your worries behind.

Was a very clean, cozy, and comfortable apartment. Well furnished and bed was super comfy. Enjoyed hearing and seeing the many boats going up and down the river behind the house.

We rented this apartment along with the adjoining part of the house that sleeps 8 for a family vacation. Great experience in a wonderful location. Excellent spot, clean, well appointed and has communicative hosts that were quick to address any issues. Would highly recommend!

Perfect little getaway

This Vrbo was absolutely adorable. So clean and comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. So close to great restaurants . Right on the water. So picturesque. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive.

Peaceful and comfortable stay in the middle of nature

Perfect house for two people. Very comfortable with everything you need. The sunsets and sunrises were beautiful from the docks in the front of the property. We enjoyed the abundant wild life and caught some big catfish in the river. This stay made our work trip very enjoyable. Great price for the beautiful location!

July 4th Stay

This property is better than the pictures indicate! Christine and Christian were super host, and they took care of each and every detail. There’s nothing we needed to ask for, it was all there, including boat-lift. The property is immaculate, and the country/waterfront setting is perfect.

We had a lovely stay in Elkton on this property. Christine was a gracious and always helpful host. We enjoyed her kindness and friendliness. The property was clean when we arrived and sufficiently stocked with what we would need for our stay. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient place to vacation in Elkton MD and near Chesapeake City. The pond was beautiful in late June/early July, covered in white water lilies and abundant with wildlife. Thank you, Christine and Christian.

Comfortable and Cute

Very nice apartment. No internal connection to the main house so it's very private but also right there if you need more space than the main house has. Has access to the boat docks and boat lift. Very clean and very well appointed.

Last minute stay and cannot thank Christine enough!

Christine was absolutely amazing! We were traveling from SC and didn’t get in till almost 3am and Christine was able to get us in no problem. We got locked out the first morning by accident and again, Christine was able to help us out immediately! We cannot thank her enough and looking forward to staying here again! Loved the calmness of the river right on the property. So peaceful and truly a hidden gem in Cecil!

Lovely stay on the Canal

We enjoyed an extended stay here that allowed us to use our boat on the Chesapeake. The one bedroom was perfect for my husband and I. Very peaceful and even when the three bedroom was occupied, it was quiet! We enjoyed the wildlife that surrounded the area as well as the beautiful views. The apt was well equipped with everything we needed. It was a very hot week and the AC worked great ! The neighborhood is great for walks and bike rides. Christine and Christian were very attentive and responsive hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend a stay!

Paradise found

Christine and Christian live next door and are more like a friendly,neighborly a couple then hosts.Very informative,but not intrusive.They were gracious enough to up grade us when the apartment had an air condition issue.The property has everything you could want and more.Also plenty to do such as fish,watch the boats,barges and birds or just decompress. Although the property is a little secluded there are many dinning and shopping options minutes away. Our only regret is not finding this place sooner.
