Sit on the large porch and enjoy the pleasant breeze or watch the birds. Enjoy starry nights by the bonfire, roasting marshmallows and making memories. Or, enjoy the beach, just 200 steps away once you walk to the driveway. You can collect beach glass or relax! We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The house was clean and tastefully decorated, exactly as the pictures showed. It was also a short drive to Lexington, where we able to enjoy an art fair.

Cute house. Street noise is very loud so not super relaxing to spend time outside. The beach was ok, tiny, but my dog had a good time. Bring water shoes, the rocks hurt! There are huge metal walls breaking the beach up between properties. Made it feel unwelcoming and closed off and pretty ugly.

For what we needed, the house did the job. We have two kids and an infant and it was nice to be able to have most of our meals in the house. The beach is right in front of somebody’s private residence and there are wall breakers on either side so it’s relatively small even if you’re allowed to go over the breaker. Pot lights in the kitchen directly above the sink and the stove did not work. Right side burners on the stove didn’t work. Filthy between the counter and the stove. The house is not set up for crawling babies or walking toddlers. The outlets are not covered, the games in the cabinet are for older kids, the beach toys are broken and old. There was used toilet paper in a drawer upstairs. There’s uncovered foam insulation in the pantry. Dull knives. Expired spices. No peeler. No easy fire escape from upstairs. Poor paint job all over the door jams. Swing outback is covered in moss. We couldn’t find the broom until the end of our stay. Bird poop on the front porch front from birdhouses hanging on the front porch.

This was a great place to get together w friends and family, close to the beach, private back yard w plenty of seating and fire pit. The front porch is cozy and inviting, inside was very clean, spacious w nice furniture and comfortable beds.
