Perfect Lake house weekend getaway

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this lake house was something truly special. The view alone is worth every penny – picture-perfect sunrises over the water, peaceful reflections at dusk, and a sense of calm that photos simply can't capture. It felt like stepping into a postcard.The house itself was immaculate and thoughtfully designed, blending rustic charm with modern comfort. Every detail felt curated for relaxation – from the cozy yet spacious living areas to the pristine bedrooms with lake views that make it hard to ever close the curtains. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals with a view, and the outdoor spaces (deck, fire pit,and beach access!) took it to the next level.Whether we were sipping coffee on the porch, kayaking at sunrise, or simply soaking in the silence by the water, everything about our stay was flawless. The hosts clearly take pride in this home and it shows in every little touch.If you're looking for peace, beauty, and a place to make unforgettable memories, this is it. We didn’t want to leave – and we’re already planning our return.Highly, highly recommend.

Comfortable and friendly

By far the best feature of this home was easy access to the beach for my grandsons! It was a short and safe walk. The kitchen was efficient and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable and large. The layout required a lot of stair-climbings, but short trips. We had beautiful weather all week, but typical warm humid summer days made the lake water welcome!

Cozy house!!

We stayed at this house over the weekend and enjoyed our getaway. Excellent host, made sure our stay was comfortable. Easy beach access and close to other state parks. Would love to go back to this house again someday.

Pleasant stay

House was very nice, very clean and lots of room for a big family. Everything needed was supplied. The view of the lake across the street was beautiful and the small private beach was definitely a plus. Anna the owner checked in to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Lake Getaway

We loved our stay! Anna has everything you need including beach towels, sunscreen, fire wood & even really yummy coffee from Lexington Coffee Company. It’s the perfect cottage with plenty of room for a family getaway. Beach access is right across the street too! We watched the sunrise in the mornings. I recommend swim shoes because the beach is a bit rocky but Anna even has those too! The upstairs does not have air conditioning but they provide ceiling & box fans & there is a nice breeze off the lake so we were very comfortable. I would highly recommend and I also plan on staying there again! 10/10!

Nice comfortable beautiful home

We all enjoyed the view of the lake it was beautiful You can walk across The street to go down to the beach part and also the home has lots of beds for our family we had at the time eight people And two bathrooms and it was just like you were at home and if I had any questions or concerns about anything, my host would get back with me right away. She is awesome thank you Anna. I for sure would rent this again.❤️😃

Only one window unit. Very hot up stairs, where the bedroom were. We have a special need adult, he was missable. Too hot for him. Very outdated. Tiny shower. Not enough small tables for bedrooms. Dirty windows with lots of cobwebs, blowing all over the room, had to have windows open because of heat. Ok view of lake, rocky tiny tiny beach. Kitchen was stocked. Oven was filthy we tried to clean it. Stove top was ok. Tiny bathroom on main floor with carpet on the door (outside.). Weird!! Overall it was ok! Not worth what we were charged.

Beautiful and quiet location with beach access across the street. Anna was very helpful and answered any questions promptly. Plenty of room and space. We are glad we picked this location.

Perfect Lake Getaway

We absolutely loved staying at this house! Friends and I stayed at Anna's property for a wedding happening in the area and it was absolutely perfect. Anna and Kevin's property was spacious, clean, and perfect for a weekend getaway. The house had everything we needed to hang out and even take a dip into the lake. Communicating with Anna and Kevin was so easy and I highly recommend staying here if you're coming to Lexington!

Cozy Lake Getaway Great for large families

We greatly enjoyed our time here. As soon as we walked in, it felt like home. The home is very roomy and yet, very comfy. Plenty of sleeping areas, entertainment areas, provided everything needed for a great family getaway. Firepit and being steps away from the lake with breathtaking sunrises was a plus - the memories made, were unforgettable! Host is very responsive. I had several questions as we weren't familiar with the Lexington area and she was very accommodating with lots of suggestions that weren't even relevant to our stay there in the home itself. We plan to book again- and this may turn into our annual family retreat! I sincerely, cannot say enough great things about our stay!

Perfect for what we were looking for. We were able to spend Saturday just talking and reflecting. The only downfall is the wine rack that’s right outside the bathroom and the kitchen. Three of us hit our head on the rack and one hit very seriously.

Nice place for a larger group.

Location is great. We spent quite a bit of time in Lexington. The house has lots of space and was extremely clean. The weather was cool so we had no problem the bedroom area not having AC. I could see where it might be a liitle uncomfortable on a hot day. We plan to keep this area on our radar for future trips. Thanks again!

Awesome!

The house was clean, there were so many extra soaps, shampoo, trashbags, spices, ect! The Kemps were amazing and made our stay perfect! Its right across the street from the beach..they even had sand toys and a tube for the beach. Excellent stay!

Best little getaway ever!

Our host was very responsive and accommodating! Such a beautiful cottage and what a view! Very clean and roomy also cozy and welcoming! Definitely a 10/10!!! Can’t wait to book again!

Spring Fishing

The place was great. Got any additional questions answered promptly. Easy acces to Lake Huron. We had 6 people and went fishing out of Lexington. Would stay here again.
