Shell Cottage DOG Friendly in Historic District

Our Shell Cottage features both a queen size bed in the Bedroom, and a queen size sofa-bed in the Living Room, the cottage sleeps a maximum of 3 persons. This cottage has an updated kitchen with a dishwasher and propane grill. There is one private parking space provided with the Shell Cottage, and one “well behaved” dog can accompany you with the payment of a non-refundable pet fee .

Hi-Speed WiFi internet for remote working! No Smoking allowed.

There is one private parking space provided with the Shell Cottage, as well as two cruiser bikes and helmets, a four-burner propane grill, grilling accessories, a patio with two chairs, a cooler, and two beach chairs and umbrella ! All linens are provided.

Located in historic downtown Beaufort. Across the street from the county courthouse - where there is a weekend Farmers Market.



2 block walk to the historic waterfront and restaurants, wine bar, brewery and shops. Catch the water ferry to the outer banks from this area. Leave your car parked, and walk or bike everywhere in historic Beaufort!.

If you want to drive to the Beach, its only a 15 min drive to public beaches - of which there are several.

If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, then Shell Cottage in Beaufort, NC is for you! Beautiful little cottage, perfect for a couple and their fur baby (dog). A short walk to charming downtown Beaufort, which has plenty of restaurants and shops. We've stayed here multiple times, as well as in adjoining Lighthouse cottage. It's the perfect stay and location for a quiet getaway!

As described but cleaner and with a good sense of "new" to it. Comfortable bed (on the soft-but-supportive side of comfortable), hosts very responsive and even called me midday the day after check-in to be sure everything was OK, great location (farmers/craft market every Saturday right across the street but far enough away that you can't hear it). Very nice, would definitely stay there again if coming to this area.

Yes, all was as to be expected. Easy walks for my medium size dog of 2 years.the place was the cleanest place I have stayed in.

We enjoyed our stay at the Shell Cottage. The cottage was very clean and we had everything we needed.Restaurants were within walking distance. We would stay again at the cottage.

Nice cozy cottage - just what we were looking for. The courthouse is just across the street with a nice park and farmer’s market on Saturday so it was easy to take our dog out for a walk. There are a couple of coffee shops within two blocks towards town and great for breakfast. We love Beaufort and this is our third trip to town she loves all the nice shops and he really enjoys the history. Quiet and peaceful.
Our little one liked looking out the front door and loved the park across the street!
