Picturesque Cabin in a quiet hillside retreat

We stayed with our three kids over Spring Break. The property is a super cute quintessential wood cabin nestled amoung the trees on a sloping hill with plenty of amenities to keep us all entertained.

Great Location

We loved our stay in the cabin. Perfect location in the mountains, with a short drive to all the attractions. We enjoyed the game room downstairs and the hot tub was so relaxing. One morning when we woke up we got to see a bear close the the cabin and the next night we saw a mama and two cubs

Secluded hidden gem - know your wants :)

The Good This was a wonderful experience for me and my family to be able to spend time at the cabin. Cabin has strong wifi. Living room with big screen TV and Netflix included. Kitchen stocked with everything needed (flatware & silverware). Grill outside with necessary grilling accessories. Hot tub outside was a lifesaver after a day of hiking. Master bedroom with king size bed and jacuzzi in room is a nice touch. GAME ROOM below, that is a jackpot, kids spent time there while it rained one day. Views very nice. Secluded/quiet. Swing on the side porch. The PAY ATTENTION detail 1. Cabin is very secluded, closest gas station is 6 miles away (15-20 mins) and it takes 30 mins to the main road or almost an hour to get in the Park for hiking. So you will spend 2 hours/day to drive to the park and back if you are here for hiking. 2. The cabin is on a very steep incline, all the neighborhood is, so if you want secluded, you surely will get it, but because of that, you will find it hard to take a walk around on the street, so there is no easy walk around the cabin. You have the parking in the front and then the rear patio on the incline, no other walking around, so you are almost stuck in the cabin. 3. There is no dining table/formal dining room or sort. We were 6, so 3 were eating at the bar and the rest 3 were eating at the coffee table. So if you are used with all people sharing a meal together at one table, you will not find this here. 4. Bring your condiments (sauces, mustard).
