About this property

Private mountaintop cabin with hot tub, pool table, and breathtaking views

This lovely secluded cottage is perched atop the Cacapon Mountain, 15 minutes away from the bustling little town of Berkeley Springs. Come to relax and enjoy close company. Whether it's grilling on the patio, sitting around the fire, or taking a dip in the Cacapon River, you can enjoy all of the ample outdoor amenities on this spacious property while taking in the mountain view. In the evening play a game of billiards, enjoy a fire, watch a movie, or enjoy a soak in the hot tub on a cold night and watch the stars.
The cabin has two queen size beds, a pull-out couch, two full bathrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen.

Please Note:
1) This house is not suitable for children under 10 due to safety concerns regarding the spiral staircase. Additionally, the spiral staircase leading to the lower bedroom may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility, but this bedroom is at ground level and may also be accessed from the sun room or game room.
2) During winter storms, we will have the drive plowed at the first opportunity, but we may be unable to prep the driveway prior to your arrival or departure, so you may need a 4WD for your safe passage.
3) Cellular service is limited in the mountains. Be sure to download check-in instructions with lockbox code etc, ahead of your arrival to make life easy on yourself.

Our stay was truly remarkable! It was close to everything like the shops and restaurants and away enough that we went back and relaxed in the hot tub and played games and relaxed! I stayed for the weekend and had an amazing experience! The views are spectacular and the amenities were great. I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and just looking out at the view. The host was quick with responses and the home was clean.

This is the most perfect retreat. The views are phenomenal and there are so many places to experience them on the property. We enjjoyed morning, evening, and night on the decks just gazing at the skyline. The stars are exceptional as the cabin is settled away from a lot of lights. It is close to the public access to the Cacapon River from two locations and Berkley Springs is also nearby. Even if it rains, the views from the living room and master bedroom with screened in porch can be enjoyed. The host was very accomodating and reached out after the stay to ensure that items left weren't mine. They were not, but he offered to send them to me if they were. This was the best plave for our girls' trip. I can't wait to return.

The property, the views, the experience was spectacular !!! The hosts’ communication couldn’t have been better!The house was spotless and all appliances worked perfectly. One suggestion was the downstairs toilet would not “evacuate” effectively despite no clog and the hot tub never reached setpoint temperature, much too cool. I would definitely come here again ….

We had a wonderful time! The peace and quiet and the views were amazing! There were a few issues that I brought to the homeowners attention. The overlook had a couple spots that were rotting, the floor in front of the downstairs shower had been leaking, which resulted in some mold and the floor giving some. We did notice some mold inside the shower and some cobwebs on the ceiling. Minor issues and easy fixes that happens in anyone's home. Overall, it was just what we needed to get away and decompress and enjoy nature. The beds were super comfy! Make sure to look for the lizard that hangs around the deck. She's friendly and we named her Lizzie :)

I made it out to get eyes on everything following your stay and am now I’m trying to find a week I can block off to repair the subfloor and tile.
