Recently renovated, beautifully appointed, adorable 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home that is literally a 3 minute walk to Ridgevale Beach. Home is approximately 5 miles off of Exit 85 (formerly Exit 11 - Route 137). Just 3.0 miles to Chatham Center and Veteran's Field (Cape Cod Baseball - Chatham Anglers). .5 mile from Marion's historic Pie Shop. 3 miles to major grocery, hardware, coffee shops, gas, etc on Route 137.

Amenities include smart tv in living room, basement and master bedroom, new stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, hardwood floors, central ac, eat-in kitchen, wireless door entry, outdoor shower, finished basement with exercise area, 1/2 bath and washer, dryer, cafe shutters on all windows, front patio with outdoor fire pit surrounded by 4 Adirondack chairs, teak dining set with umbrella, wicker swing, weber grill, two driveways accommodating multiple cars, use of beach chairs, towels and wagon, and use of 4 adult and 1 children's mountain bike.

Our family had a wonderful week stay at the Sandcastle! The house was very close to Ridgevale Beach which was convenient with a 1 year old. The house was also stocked with everything you could need for the week such as sheets, towels, soap, kitchen supplies, etc. We also appreciated the amazing beach wagon, beach chairs and other toys for the beach. I would recommend the Sandcastle to anyone with small children or wanting to be close to the beach. The owners are great and ensured we had everything for our stay at the house prior to our visit.

We had such an amazing stay! The owners had little touches that our four children adored and were so very helpful! The home was so clean and we were new to the area so the binder describing things to do and places to eat was fantastic. The walk to the beach was so easy and they had a cart and toys in their shed that was very helpful! The flowers around the home were a sight to see! 10/10 recommend this home!

My review will simplify this for you. BOOK IT. We had such a wonderful experience in Cape Cod launching from this beautiful home every morning. The landscaping is designer, the home is super clean, and the interior and exterior of the home are incredibly clean and well conceived. Being in this space, you become aware that every detail has been considered in this amazing space - it is clear the owners have given this home so much thought. I give this property and our contact with the owners an unambiguous 10/10. I wish all experiences were this grand.

Perfect Cape Vacation

Sandcastle is the perfect Cape Cod retreat. It is located in a very nice neighborhood with easy walking access to a wonderful beach. House is beautiful, well equipped and very comfortable. We hope to return.

Great location and charming home

We had a wonderful week at the Sandcastle. Easy walk to the beach and short drive into town. We loved the cozy, charming house and all of the thoughtful details. Linen service was a bonus. We would absolutely stay here again. Owners were very responsive to all questions. Thank you for a great stay.

Beautiful home w well maintained yard. Hydrangeas galore! Easy walk to beach. Shed has wagon, nice beach chairs/umbrella. Kids enjoyed the badmitton set. Best of all, linens/towels included! So nice to have beds made on arrival. Thanks for setting the stage for a fun week!

Great Location for Exploring all of Cape Cod

My family (wife and two daughters) stayed here along with my parents (in their mid-70s). We were first struck by how beautifully manicured the landscaping is, and then by the cleanliness and lovely decor of the interior. We used every bit of the home, as 6 people felt a bit tight, at times, particularly with the primary bathroom on the main floor. However, there is a completely private and very nice outdoor shower, and a very nicely renovated half bath in the basement. Also in the basement are some weights and work out equipment, which we much enjoyed! We found the location of the home to be ideal for exploring all of Cape Cod. We visited Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, and Provincetown during our trip, and we found that these were all very comfortable driving distances (to ferries, etc.) from Chatham. The home has plenty of beach equipment/supplies in the shed, which was a real treat for our kiddos. The multiple seating locations around the exterior of the home, to include the porch, offered plenty of charm. We would definitely stay here again!

Better than a Dream!

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Sandcastle By the Beach is. From the moment you drive up to the shelled driveway, you feel the whimsicality and charm the Sandcastle has to offer. The garden is lovely and meticulously maintained, and the house is beautiful, updated, and beyond comfortable. We walked in to find two stuffies for our small children along, activities waiting for them, and a handwritten note welcoming us to their home along with an exquisite little flower arrangement. Rob and Julie also put together a helpful list of restaurants, places to shop, and areas to explore if you're new to the Cape. They're truly the perfect hosts--they're communicative, kind, and clearly put endless thought and care into their Sandcastle and ensuring your stay is magical. The house is less than a mile from wonderful restaurants and a 5 minute walk to Ridgevale beach, which could not be a better place for families. With the Nantucket Sound on one side and tidal pools on the other, there is something for everyone. The tidal pools are perfect for little kids to play, explore sea life, and wade through the warm waters. There is also a delicious snack bar and beach store run by the same family for decades. After spending years visiting the Cape, this is by far one of our favorite homes. If you're lucky enough to secure a stay, don't waste a minute looking somewhere else. The Sandcastle is a dream away from home.

The Sandcastle is a Chatham Gem!

My wife and I could not have asked for more from Rob and Julie’s lovely home, the Sandcastle. Communication was quick and polite. The house was beautifully landscaped and appointed. Everything was meticulously clean as well. Amenities were all as advertised or better. Really enjoyed the gym downstairs! We went to Hyannis, Provincetown, and several other places on Cape Cod and we found Chatham to be the best, hands down. We will be back soon and we will be delighted to stay at the Sandcastle again. Thank you!

Perfect Cape Vacation

My family and I had a lovely stay at the Sandcastle in Chatham. This property was extremely well maintained and had everything we needed for our vacation. The proximity to the beach was everything given that we have two small children. The owner was easily accessible and very helpful throughout our stay. I would absolutely return and would highly recommend!

Sandcastle cottage

We absolutely loved our quaint , beautifully decorated home for the week in Chatham! Perfect for our family of 3 and our daughter brought a friend. Quiet neighborhood. Just a short walk to beach. A short drive into Chatham for shopping and restaurants. My husband loved the gym in the basement and the extra bath down there was great for the girls to get ready at night. Our daughter loved the lighted mirror! The outdoor shower was a hit too! Owners responded quickly with any questions. Highly recommend!

Summer at the Sandcastle

Sandcastle By The Beach is a true treasure! This rental home sets the bar for all our future rentals. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, well-equipped, immaculate, has spacious rooms, light-filled, and in a prime location. Amazing landscaping makes the already great outside areas that much more enjoyable. The large outdoor shower was so convenient to rinse off in after a long and sandy day at the beach. Rob and Julie were wonderful hosts and a pleasure to interact with - they answered any questions we had almost immediately. Our family of four really enjoyed the week we spent here!

Nice place, great location

I stayed with my wife and grade school age children for a week. The house was very clean and up-to-date. Nice property especially the front yard fire pit and backyard outdoor shower and deck. Walk and or bike ride to the beach was easy and convenient. We opted for a week long beach pass to make things even easier but walking is certainly possible. We will be going back again next year.

Wonderful Week By The Beach

We had a great vacation at the Sandcastle. The house is conveniently located close to Ridgevale Beach and a short drive to restaurants and downtown Chatham. We walked to the beach and used the beach chairs, umbrella and wagon available at the house. The indoor and outdoor areas of the house are beautiful including the deck, yard and front patio. Rob and Julie were very helpful when we had questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful house.

Superb stay at Sandcastle

Great house, great location, great hosts! Loved walking to the beach, biking, daily walks to buy morning breakfast pastries at Marions, enjoyed meals on the deck, well-appointed kitchen with everything one could need! Gorgeous gardens and the outdoor shower was a highlight even in the rain! We thoroughly enjoyed our week making lifelong memories and would absolutely LOVE to return in the future!

Perfect family vacation spot!

My husband and I stayed at the Sandcastle with our 1 year old for our first family vacation on the Cape. The house was perfect for us; clean, well-stocked, comfortable and very close to the beach. My in-laws also stayed for a few nights and we still had plenty of space. The owners were very responsive and communicated with us quickly and clearly. We were hoping to find a place to stay as a yearly tradition and we found it here. We are already looking forward to next year!

Loved the Sandcastle

We stayed here for 5 nights for a family wedding held nearby. The Sandcastle was very comfortable and pleasant to stay at - house well stocked and nicely decorated - great places to sit outside and great location. Would love to stay here again. I want to live in this Sandcastle!

This home is wonderful from the beautiful landscaping outside to the tasteful decor inside! Very comfortable home with beautiful touches everywhere, on a quiet street leading to a spectacular beach. Everything we needed was available in the home! We hope to stay again!

Quintessential Cape Cod

When you think Cape Cod, you think of this home. Adorable. Decor pretty but also comfortable. And easy walk down to beach, even if just for sunset. The deck out back great for outside dining, although we did not get that chance. Julie and Robert very responsive.

Cape Cod Wonderland

I highly recommend this home, it was pristine from the moment that you drove into the driveway. Every accommodation from home was there. You can cook up a storm like we did and I didn’t even need to bring the basting brush that I packed. The beds were so comfortable And the outdoor shower was a Family hit. No one even showered inside. The proximity to the beach is amazing. We had my one and a half year old grandson with us and he really enjoyed roaming around the property. We were able to walk to Marians pie shop which I highly recommend This is truly a home away from home!!!

Adorable Chatham Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable Chatham cottage. Walked to the beach every day, enjoyed roasting s’mores around the fire pit and dinners on the deck. Had lots of sand toys and games for the kids along with a wagon to take to the beach. Beautiful landscaping and interior. The owners are very responsive and sweet.

Incredible vacation

Incredible vacation and beautiful home with close proximity to beach- only a 5 minute walk. Clean and spacious with nice outdoor shower, multiple lounging areas outdoors, and very close to many nice restaurants. Road not conducive to bike riding into town sadly as too much traffic and no bike lanes. Easy communication with owner.

Didn't want to leave!

This property was adorable. The landscaping is impeccable and makes the outdoor living spaces so relaxing. Coastal decor enhances the beautiful renovations. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. The owners are very communicative and it's clear they want you to have a great experience in their home. It's less than a 5min walk to the beach and the neighborhood has plenty of walking routes to get your morning steps in! Definitely a gem! Can't wait to visit again.

Idyllic Chatham

We had a wonderful 2-week stay at Sandcastle and absolutely love this property. The owners, Rob and Julie, are delightful and helpful to work with, communicate clearly, and pay attention to the details. Cottage is well decorated, stocked, comfortable beds and linens and the outdoor areas are beautiful! Outdoor shower is large and very nice, too. So close to Ridgedale Beach (best beach for little kids) and still in close proximity to town and Veteran's Field. We had 0 complaints about our stay and would recommend to first timers or long-time Cape or Chatham return visitors! Thank you, Rob and Julie!!

Well Maintained Home & Great Location

Home was newly remodeled and the outdoors (front and back yards) was well maintained with multiple areas to hang out and relax. Owners very responsive to a few questions we had. Excellent location relative to Ridgevale Beach (5 minute walk). The home seemed a bit small for 4 adults and 2 kids, but that was likely due to the energetic kids. While the basement could be used as a play area and extra sleeping area in a pinch, it is really very musty and not recommended for that.
