Grand Cabin Retreat ** 2 Minutes to Slopes!

Welcome to our newly updated modern but rustic home away from home! A spacious 4-bedroom/4-bath house with additional queen sized Murphy bed for comfortable sleeping arrangements for 10 guests. In an extremely convenient location minutes from all the Poconos has to offer. We are located right by Camelback Mountain, being just a 2 minute drive away and also 5-10 minutes away from Aquatopia, Mount Airy Casino, Kalahari & the Crossings Outlet, Big Pocono State Park and much more all within a minutes away.

You can enjoy the views of nature and serenity from the patio while you BBQ or take time to hang back in the large game room with a foosball, ping pong, and pool table as well as a TV, electric dart board and an arcade game. We provide wifi so you can stream and watch your favorite shows or have a movie night on our smart TV by the cozy stone fireplace.
The community also offers a pool and tennis court (weather permitting), fitness center, community center and playground.

Location is great; the house was not too clean. For example, the oven was dirty and full of grease (we were not able to use it) the shower in the second floor was clogged due to hairs in the drain. The grill was rusted on one side. The family room it had a horrible couch in a corner covered in a sheet the other 2 couches were not comfortable at all. The mattress in all the rooms were hard. The 2 lighters that were left for the fireplace did not work, there were spider webs in the basement. The ac vents were very dirty. See attached pics. We would never stay here again

Great House! Great Location!

We stayed here with our two adult nephews and their wives, and we had a great time. The house was perfect for relaxing together and playing games. There were two bedrooms on the ground level, which was perfect for our achy joints, and my niece's 8-month pregnancy (no stairs for us). The location is so close to many attractions -- the outlets, other shopping places, restaurants, hiking, Camelback, etc. The neighborhood was beautiful (very woodsy) and quiet. Communication with the owners was excellent and easy. We had no issues during out stay. We leave with great memories!

Great property & location

Overall the house and our visit were great. We visited with our family (10 total people - 9 adults and one infant) Pros: Amazing location and proximity to camelback resort for skiing an any other resort activity; ample parking for cars in the garage and driveway; the house itself Is beautiful. Owner was extremely responsive and helpful when we requested some additional linens for the cold weather. A few things that would bring this to a 5-star rental: Quite frankly, I’d recommend that the owners invest in a better or upgraded cleaning service. The area rugs are stained and need to be deep cleaned or replaced; ceiling fans are in dire need of a dusting; some ceilings are dusty and need to be wiped down. Oven needs to be deep cleaned. All of this is certainly fixable but needs to be addressed. While the bedrooms themselves are cozy, the beds are very stiff/hard - beyond a normal firm mattress. Every mattress needs a foam topper. Every bed has a lightweight duvet insert without a duvet cover as the comforter. For a winter rental, the rooms simply need more warm bedding. Again - easy fix that I’m sure the owners can address. We made them aware of this during our stay and they went out of their way to have a few extra linens and cozy blankets delivered to us which was so appreciated! Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Owner was responsive and helpful for any and all needs & a great home for our large family.
