SeaGrace at Carolina Beach

Summary:
Amazing 2nd floor oceanfront condo located in the Sea Colony! Perfect for small family or a couples getaway retreat. SeaGrace is centrally located to all things Carolina Beach: biking, kayaking, fishing charters, hiking at the CB State Park and our famous boardwalks and fishing piers with great restaurants and shopping! Downtown Wilmington and the airport less than 45 minuets away!
Enjoy the gorgeous sunrise over the Atlantic on your cozy patio also enjoy the community pool!

The Space:
The pool is located just behind the condo. The HOA opens the pool mid April and closes typically the second week in September, depending on weather.

We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everyone has their own preferences for these =) Please review our house rules prior to your stay

The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of Carolina Beach with a mix of full time residents and vacationers.

Getting Around:
- Free parking at condominium

-Walk, bike, public parking at beaches and in town

-Bike and golf cart rentals are available on the island

-Uber cars and taxi's are also available

Other Things to Note:
This condo is on the 2nd floor and please make sure parking pass is visible. The HOA only gives us 1 parking pass

There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

Great Place To Stay

Overall this was a great place to stay. My only complaint would be getting the TV's to work properly. I ended up air playing Xfinity with my Iphone in order to watch TV at night. Other than that, it was a great place to stay and we'll definitely be back in the future.

A great stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very comfy condo,easy access to the beach. Clean and private.Only thing negative i would have to say is that the pool was out of order. My kids was a bit disappointed in that. But would still give a B rating.

Sad first trip to the Ocean.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When booked rental I requested early check in and then when arrived our room was a disappointment. I spent over 1300 for 3 nights to come in with dirty sheets God only knows how long the bottom sheets have been on there the stove was disgusting inside couldn't use it to cook and the coffee pot was nasty as well had stuff floating around in it. There was dried nose bugers on the curtains there was pait chiping above the sliding door the tub wouldn't drain it took forever for the water to go down so we had to wait for that the begin the room was very loud if you moved just a little it would have this loud noise. Over all I was very disappointed in the room and we was really looking forward to coming there. I would definitely be getting some new house cleaners some that will actually clean clean there was stuff that you can definitely tell hasn't been touched/cleaned in a long time very sad. The view was okay I was hoping for more but the buildings were in the way. I never spoke to anyone beside a house keeper but there was no way of contacting anyone when called the number listed it was a realtor that took care of all them and couldn't help me. P

Great stay minus the bed

Great location, considering its beach front it was okay cleaned. The only downside was the bed. We're in our mid 40s and the bed was not kind to us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I vacation at Carolina Beach for our anniversary every year, and usually stay at Sea Colony. This was our first stay in this unit. The check in and check out process was great. Communication about the process occurred the day before our arrival. The property has a great view of the ocean, but due to the position of this unit you can not enjoy the sunrise. Despite this would recommend the unit and would consider staying here again.

Nice Quiet Getaway

Beautiful view

Great location with Oceanview and loved the balcony, great price, had everything we needed, and great communication with host. The only negative was the pool being closed due to issues with the filter. It was getting worked on when we were leaving so hopefully it's fixed now.

Very disappointed

The one thing about this property that is a selling point is that it is located on the beach. We were unable to use the pool during our visit because the pump was broken. We chose this place because of the pool. (we passed over several over locations that didn't have a pool). The place was clean enough, although could use some needed repairs (toilet paper holder hanging from wall) The bed was horrible. One side of the bed felt like a large sunken hole. We never got the living room TV to work. Cushions on outdoor balcony area were filthy. Our main disappointment was not being able to use the pool. We felt that we deserved some compensation for this, and the owner gave us a refund for a very tiny amount. We will not rent this place again.

Beautiful Unit

We’ve always enjoyed Sea Colony but this unit was really nice. Loved the decor and deck. Easy check in/out. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Decent place for a quick trip.

The place itself was nice for the most part. However, we had no internet at ALL! And had to call the property manager bc the tv/cable wasn’t working at all. Finally got the tv working 5 hours after check in and only the tv in the living room worked. The tv in the bedroom would NOT work at all. We were told by property manager that came out to try and fix the cable issue that we would get our cleaning fee back. We only got a small portion back. Still ended up paying more in cleaning fees then what we paid for the room fee for the night. Don’t think we will be returning to this particular place.
