DISCLAIMER ON PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Wells and Bennett Realtors (Property Manager) requires $500 of your reservation total due upon booking (this is separate from the VRBO Service Fee that is also charged immediately) and the remainder is due sixty days prior to check-in. We also require Vacation Rental Accidental Damage Insurance for your reservation. There are two options to satisfy this requirement. You can purchase a policy through us and it costs an additional $55 total. The alternative option is that you can opt in for a refundable security deposit of $3,000. If you opt in for the security deposit, we will hold that on your card on file two weeks prior to check-in and then will return it as quickly as we can. Thank you for understanding.

Fishbowl at Tahoe is just the escape you needed. This modern themed Tahoe home is absolutely stunning. Fully furnished and equipped with anything you might need. You'll be pleasantly surprised with the large open layout and natural light. Notice the beautiful stained glass windows on either side of the front door and all the updated décor and finishes throughout. The kitchen is newly remodeled and fully stocked, the living room with wood flooring and clean rustic décor and a wall full of windows to enjoy the outside while sitting by the cozy & convenient new gas fireplace. The downstairs bathroom and washer/dryer are also new. Did we mention the hot tub? After a long day of skiing one of the many resorts all within 15 minutes away, enjoy the warmth and relaxation of the hot tub on the deck.
PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. There is one just to the right of the front door that looks at the entryway. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation.
Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied. If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property. If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out.
Holiday Booking Policy CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 24th, 25th NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29. Very comfy cabin
Very clean property and newly remodeled and very comfortable. The upstairs shower never worked and downstairs shower little water pressure. Overall very recommended place to stay and great deck. Small kitchen but very easy to cook and clean. The hot tub was a relaxing benefit.

The energy of the house was wonderful for a getaway. Everything was beautiful, the basics were fabulous - tons of towels, all kinds of dishware and cookware, plastic cups for the hot tub. The energy of the space led towards the living space, where the whole family found ourselves enjoying each others company. It was a gift. Would stay again.

Fantastic Stay
We had a fantastic time at this property. It is nicely located in Dollar Point and about 18 minutes away from Pallisades (with no traffic) for some great skiing. The hot tub was outstanding: very hot, clean and great jets. On the downside, if the water was running elsewhere, there did seem water pressure problems upstairs. Also, our bedding was not perfect. Our mattress was missing a mattress pad and the bottom sheet was rather thin.

Beautiful Property and Location
As advertised, the newly remodeled property is in a pristine neighborhood with great access to Tahoe City. I would say it was everything we expected and were very satisfied. Just a couple things to note …. Not nagtive but more for awareness. The bathroom upstairs is in need of small repairs as the shower didn’t work very well and the faucet handles would fall off. Also, be prepared to bring almost everything you need if you plan on cooking as there is absolutely no spices, oils, paper towels, dish towels, and limited pots and pans. We fortunately read this in the listing and essentially brought all our own pots, pans, spices, oils, etc. If you travel to Tahoe often, this won’t be much of a surprise as this is pretty normal in the area versus everywhere else we’ve traveled in the country for ski vacations. Just assume the very bare minimum and you’ll be good. The property condition was excellent and in many ways offset the inconvenience of having pack extra for cooking in.

Not what I paid for
Paid for two showers only one working couldn’t use any patios snow piled so high to doors, hot tub was hard to get at cause of snow pileup!
Promised a washer didn’t happen, 5 towels for all of us and no extra linen. It’s a cute place but not worth the money was disappointed.

You were given a very good discount for the inconvenience. We provide linens appropriate for the amount of people and number of nights that they stay. Family summer vacation
The house was modern, updated, and clean. Patios accommodated our family and dinner guests. We would happily stay here again.

Great spot in quiet neighborhood!
Pleasantly surprised with this place! Going to Tahoe we were nervous about crowds. This spot on Dollar Point was quiet, a short drive to the dog beach, and a bike ride to an amazing bakery. There are also family friendly biking and hiking trails across the street at Tahoe XC ski center. Very nice! We will be returning!

Loved our stay!
We had a truly great stay in Dollar Point as three couples! This house is great for location (near hiking trails, beaches, etc. etc). It was clean and large and the hot tub was wonderful and we really appreciated the games and beach chairs in the closet. The only item that would take this house from great to even more great is if they had a regular coffee machine (there was only a Keurig with no Keurig cups). We would love to return again!
