Chez Cocotte is a cottage created in one of our outbuildings. Swimming pool heated from mid May to end of September.
Located 5min from the town center of Onzain and 50m from the edge of the Loire. A grocery store with local products and bread is 2km away.
Ideally located to discover the castles of the Loire: Chaumont/Loire 5min, Amboise 10min, Blois 20min, Chenonceau 25min, Cheverny 30min and Chambord 40min but also the unmissable Beauval zoo 40min away.
Near the Loire by bike. A bike room is available.
Charline and Mathieu welcome you to their cottage, with an area of ​​50m2 which is composed of:
a fitted kitchen with microwave, oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. 4-person table with extension for 6 people, a living room with a convertible sofa, a bedroom with 1 Queen size bed and two single beds, a shower room with washing machine, hair dryer, separate toilets, a sunny terrace with barbecue
Sheets, tea towels and hand towels are provided.
The cottage has all the necessary equipment for babies: high chair, bath, travel cot with mattress.
Wi-Fi is accessible free of charge.
Petanque ground available.
Parking space in the closed courtyard.
Cleaning not included. Possible cleaning fee: 80€
The swimming pool is heated from mid May to September and has an electric shutter.
The exteriors are shared with the owners.
We have 1 cat and 2 chickens.

Gite has everything you need. Beautiful pool, kitchen to make meals, bed is very comfortable and sky light opens to enjoy a breeze. Charlene and Mathieu are very helpful and great communicators. There is a small cafe and market one town over we loved going too. Easy access to castles in Chamount, Bois and Amboise.

Verblijf in Veuves gite 4/6 personen

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. Mooie gite in de tuin van een groot huis die in moderne stijl mooi is opgeknapt en is voorzien van alle gemakken. De mooi en zonnig gelegen tuin en het verwarmde (goede maat) zwembad zijn vrij toegankelijk. Het terras van de gite is prima, maar ligt (in september) na 17 uur in de schaduw. In de omgeving is veel te zien en te doen voor alle leeftijden. Fiets- en wandelroutes zijn in de omgeving te vinden.

goed verzorgde gite

Ondanks relatief slecht weer met regelmatig regen goed verblijf, alles wat we wilde zien in de regio is goed bereisbaar. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding gite naar onze mening niet goed, Vergeleken met veel andere appartementen/gites zou de prijs per dag lager moeten zijn.

Vacances

Nous n avons que dormi deux nuits. Arrivé le premier soir a 19h et nous sommes partis en visite toute la journée jusqu au soir 22h. Nous avons quitté les lieux le lendemain matin a 10h30 environ. Le cadre du gîte est très agréable.

Weekend au zoo option piscine !

Petit séjour pour nous près de beauval environ 30min de route, avec farniente après les visites ! Gite d'exception vraiment, une hotte très a l'écoute, dans un décor incroyable !! Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et du jardin parfait pour des petits mais aussi grands... A refaire sans hésitation !

Family friendly in a central location in the Loire Valley

We had a great stay. The accommodation is a short drive to many Loire Valley towns, attractions, and shops. There’s a small grocery store 2kms away in Monteaux selling local produce, including baguettes, vegetables, cold meats and wine. The Chateau du Chaumont is just across the Loire River. Great markets in Amboise and Leonardo da Vinci’s residence at Chateau du Clos Lucé is must with children - an exciting educational and immersive experience . It is evident a lot of thought has gone into furnishing the house and ensuring it’s very well equipped and comfortable. The children loved playing in the large garden, jumping on the trampoline and swimming in the pool, and of course playing with the very friendly cat, Pirouette! Friendly and helpful hosts. Definitely recommend!

Un espace soigné et accueillant

Ce gite récemment aménagé à neuf est fonctionnel et réalisé avec bon goût. Ses aménagements extérieurs sont également appréciables. Nos hôtes ont le soucis du détail et nous les remercions pour leur accueil.

Superbe séjour

Joli gîte dans la propriété avec tout le confort nécessaire pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille et entre amis. Idéalement situé dans le Val de Loire pour visiter les environs (villes et châteaux, zoo de Beauval...). Accueil très chaleureux par les propriétaires des lieux.
