The only thing i disliked about the property was the beetles and everything was a hour away lol

About the beetles - at least you can hear those great horned beetles coming from a mile away. Welcome to the GA woods. Hopefully the bald eagle that likes fishing in our cove and the deer and other wildlife made up for the insects. And keeping the deck lights off helps also.

Usefulness

Property was not clean, shower downstairs was unusable which was a problem with 12 people in the house and the decks which were such a great part of the house had to be cleaned by us before we could even use them. We feel like the cleaning deposit should be returned to us, but the property manager won’t get back to me. It’s such a shame because this house is beautiful and has everything, it’s a little farther away from towns than we thought but the trade off for the location was worth it.

The guest communicated directly with me that the decks and deck furniture was not clean, but did not send any pictures or detail. It could have been from pollen, a storm or possibly the yard service. There with no complaints about the interior. The shower was damaged, assumedly by the previous guest, but was not previously reported and is now being replaced.

Great house for our family get together. House was very well furnished. This was probably the only rental I ever stayed at where the beds and pillows were super comfortable. It was the perfect place for our family!

Great Expectations Fulfilled

We traveled from Minnesota and met our family who traveled from Florida for a Thanksgiving celebration. Our expectation of a comfortable place for the ten of us to prepare food and rest after exploring Georgia state parks was thoroughly fulfilled. One of the greatest components of the house is the dining room table where our whole family could gather together for meals. Everything we looked for to have a family gathering was fulfilled in this house. Scott is a very special host who was available and willing to answer any of our needs. Thank you Scott!!!

Masters Golf vacation

The property was an excellent choice. We will definitely stay at this property again. Plenty of room for probably up to 8 golfers although we had 4. Very responsive owner.

Spacious lakeside getaway

Our family Thanksgiving celebration was all the better because of our stay here at Lake Jackson. The home is designed to handle a crowd even when watching a movie. The kitchen had everything we needed… basic supplies and plenty of storage containers. The neighborhood did not lend itself to long walks but we enjoyed the outdoor areas of the home. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had. A totally delightful stay!

Wonderful host

Scott answered all questions and had solutions for every request. He was extremely accommodating of our slightly unusual circumstances. Highly recommended even for communication alone. Beautiful location and home as well. Thank you so much!

Comfortable accommodations

The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. The downstairs was great for our 6 and 3 year old great niece and nephew. We would definitely recommend this house.

Birthday celebration

Very nice house, plenty of room for 8 adults. Property had a lot of tree limbs jamming small entrance into lake so we could not launch kayaks from the shore.

Wonderful positive energy home!!

I wanted to spend some time with my son before he left for college so I rented this amazing home and he and his friends snd myself had an awesome time! It was truly priceless!! Amazing owners, and the home had such positive energy, I swear healing properties! Will definitely be renting again!!!

Great retreat venue

This was a beautiful spot and beautiful house for our staff gathering. The drive and property is a bit steep but once settled in all was well. Plenty of beds, multiple gathering rooms, nice decks with a firepit and view of the lake. We ended up with one staffer on crutches so the stairs were a bit tough on her but otherwise it was a very nice venue for our outing.

Nature at its Finest

This place is nestled in a beautiful area of Jackson Lake. The house was very spacious, clean and the deck spaces out front and back were perfect to soak in all the natural and peaceful surroundings. The house was fully stocked, the beds very cozy and both fireplaces came in very handy. Mr. Marts and his wife were very responsive and highly recommended staying here if you are looking a great location right by the lake.

wonderful!

i had booked this home for 8 days at the last minute upon word from a local hospice that my mother had taken a turn of decline and would not be with us much longer, coming then to the area for an anticipated death and funeral. i had needed a large home to accommodate my three adult children and two of their partners, first arriving to the home alone until she passed, then them joining me pending the funeral and after. the home was positively wonderful in every way for what we needed it to be. it was clean, quiet, large. we had space to be with each other or not. the view of the lake was wonderful, frequently seeing deer both in the morning and in the evening in the back yard along its shore. the kitchen is large and well equipped. the master bathroom has a wonderful tub for long soaking. the showers have great water pressure for satisfying hot showers. there are lots of places to relax and sit in this home, both in groups or alone. the home is pleasantly decorated. the beds are all comfortable. i will remember many things about this home after we leave, but likely the most noted will be the calming peace felt in the home and both tangible and intangible comfort to my me and my family, added to by the many birds visiting the deck area--particularly cardinals! i am grateful to the owners for fast response in a last minute effort to book, and receptiveness to any questions. we would definitely want to stay in this home again should such a situation return again requiring all of us to return to the area.

Great Winter Break

We had a great time. The house is beautiful! The kids loved the downstairs area and only had to come up for food/drinks! There was more than enough room for everyone. We look forward to going back soon! Scott was also awesome! Thanks for sharing your home with us!
