We had a great stay! The house was amazing, it had everything you could ever need for a lake trip. The house and property were super clean. The host ,Judy, also did a great job of answering all our questions and making us feel at home. We can’t wait to go back.

The place is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing with family. We really enjoyed the views, the nature, and the cozy atmosphere of the house. Everything was very clean and well organized. Definitely an ideal getaway to disconnect and unwind. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful house in the countryside with a lake that can feel like your own family’s. Many times we were on the lake no one else was around. This is such a relaxing experience. The house has everything you need. They recently renovated and upgraded so much in the house.The nature here is unbelievable. We’ve come here four years now, and this year we saw a bald eagle and an otter. This is a great place for kids of all ages. There’s basketball, air hokey, foosball, and so many games. There is enough entertainment for a rainy and sunny days.When coming here, you have to realize that this is tucked away from everything. There aren’t many restaurants so we grill and cook ourselves.If you want an exciting day on a pontoon, we take a day trip to Lake Wallenpaupack and rent a boat from Pocano Action Sports and go tubing for half a day. This is a magical home where when you walk on the property you uncleanch from daily life and breathe in the peaceful nature.

This cottage is magical. It boosts lots of lake front for guests to relax and an open, airy feel on the inside where guests can spread out. It was very clean and full of many places to take in the view of the lake. We made many memories here and would stay again.

We Couldn’t ask for a more picturesque spot. Lake conveniently located a few feet from your door. Property has so much to offer and we enjoyed all of it.

We had a very enjoyable few days at this home. It was extremely clean and well equipped. We canoed, kayaked, swam and cooked on the fire. Very lovely. We are grateful to have found it.

Shehawken Vacation

We had an amazing time at Judie and Bruces Shehawken Lake House! Plan to return for future vacations and highly recomend this property and location for anyone seeking a relaxing fun filled experience.

Loved our stay!!

Such a lovely home. We had a wonderful time at this lake house. The lake was beautiful, the neighbors were friendly, and there were plenty of amenities. We fished, canoed, grilled, used the fire, etc. we did it all and had a great time. Would love to stay here again!

Great Place to Stay

Judie was so kind. The view of the lake was excellent. Such a relaxing vacation. Watching the geese, otters and other wild life was awesome! Swinging in the hammock was the best could not have found a better lakehouse! We would absolutely recommend tbis lovely cottage!

Amazing View

The house is very lovely. The views are just amazing, especially when leaves change colors. We had a very quiet and relaxing time at this house. Would definitely come again.

If heaven was a lake house

Such a lovely, charming house by the lake. Just wish we’d booked a longer stay. It’s obvious a lot of love and care goes into making it the best stay for people like us who were lucky enough to find this house to rent. Loved every minute of relaxation.

Always lovely

This is our second stay at this space and it always relaxing, comfortable and made alot great memories. The lake is beautiful and all the games at the house made for fun evenings. Judie and Bruce are great hosts! We will be back for sure!

Relaxing and Beautiful

Our Family came to ski at Elk Mountain for Pres Wknd. We were lucky to find this beautiful home only 1/2 hour from the slopes. Perfectly sited with a gorgeous view of a small lake, the house is fully renovated and super clean. Welcoming and responsive hosts! Would definiitely stay here again.

Amazing natural beauty

The photos simply don't do this place justice. Gorgeous views from panoramic windows in the home. The home is impeccable with brand new everything! We had a wonderful relaxing stay and hope to return again!
