Journey approximately 20 minutes to Grand Targhee Resort where they offer a scenic chair lift ride to the summit of Fred’s Mountain, kid’s summer camps, picturesque horseback rides, a refreshing swimming pool, or reach new heights on the euro-bungee trapeze and climbing tower. Grand Targhee Resort also maintains an award-winning disc golf course and many trails for all riding levels at their mountain bike park. But the fun doesn’t stop there, Teton Valley also holds multiple golf courses designed by pro golfers as well as over 120 miles of blue ribbon fly fishing on 3 rivers including, Henry’s Fork, South Fork, and the Teton River. The park also has a rich cultural history with old homesteads and cattle ranches to explore and photograph. Walk on a trail built by the Civilian Conservation Corps or one that American Indians or fur trappers might have used in the 1820s. Ride a bike or paddle a canoe. About the host
Hosted by Joanie Dreisbach
We are the Dreisbach Family. My husband and I bought this cabin in 2000. At that time the cabin did not have a yard or a basement and over the years we added some things and improved the property. In 2002 we were married on top of Grand Targhee overlooking the Tetons and held our reception at our cabin. In 2004 we moved to Big Sky, Montana where we own a construction company and try and keep up with our three children. We love making regular trips back to our cabin to enjoy beautiful Teton Valley and all that it offers.
Why they chose this property
There are many reasons my family chose this property. The Teton Valley and surrounding area is tranquil and serene with spectacular views and many opportunities for adventure. The cabin is in close proximity to Driggs, Idaho, if you need to run into town. It is also not far from Grand Targhee Resort, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park and Jackson, WY. We hope that you enjoy this cabin as much as our family does!
What makes this property unique
Nothing compares to the unobstructed views of the Tetons. It's a view you that will long be imprinted in your mind!
