The entire estate is built out on a point of land with water on three sides Blue Lagoon is unlike anything else on the island. Spanning several lots and boasting over 500' of beachfront, this property has the best of both worlds. A private protected sand bar with acres of sand that is always calm and perfect for kids. A private cove to watch the sunsets and a Cay with its own private beach just steps away.

Sugar Beach stretches to the west, perfect for an evening stroll. This house is perfect for a large family or a trip with your friends. It has a main house which is almost completely glass on the ocean side with two master bedrooms with ensuite baths, and a third bedroom as well. The property has two guest cottages as well,. The main house is perched right out on point of land where the ocean meets the lagoon and the lapping water and the magical view is breathtaking. The sunrise cottage, has two bedrooms, two full baths, a living area and kitchenette. The Sunrise Cottage is perched right on the edge of sand bar with an amazing private deck and a few yards from the most beautiful beach on the Island. The Sunset Cottage has the same two bedroom, two bath, living and kitchenette layout as well. It is right on the edge of the ocean facing west towards Sugar Beach. A few palm trees are the only thing between this cottage and the protected Lagoon cove. The three buildings and the oceanfront pool are all connected by paths which are close together yet unparalleled privacy. The entire property is comprised of 7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a three sided glass great room, state of the art kitchen on the nicest lot in Exuma. The protected cove makes a perfect spot for anchoring a boat as even in strong winds, that area is always calm. Great internet, RO water throughout the property and a diesel back up generator should power every go out...we got your perfect vacation experience covered!

Simply beyond words....

When we walked through the door for the first time it literally took our breath away. We have been coming to Exuma for 12 years and thought we had seen it all. This is by far nicer then anything we have ever seen. The sand bar is a screensaver and the beauty of this property and home is stunning. If you want to get away and enjoy paradise this is heaven. It is beyond words. Staff were amazing, there whenever we needed anything but total privacy the rest of the time. Judy was amazing, great AC, lighting fast internet, sunrise and sunset from the glass walls in the living room. We have already booked our return trip this fall! Thank you, we miss it already!

It was a wonderful place to stay! The homes were comfy and lovely…the water was spectacular!!! The mosquitoes, flies and no see’ems were plentiful so bug spray is a must!!

The house is amazing! Even on the windiest of days, the lagoon is calm and can be enjoyed by everyone. Having the Kayaks on the premises allowed for additional enjoyment. Breathtaking views the moment you enter the door!

Incredible Location

The house was absolutely beautiful and right on a secluded beach. The beach is just steps from the door and the natural cove is an amazing spot for kids of all ages to play and kayaking in the ocean and up the channel was out of this world. The host was a pleasure to deal with and the house was spacious with incredible views. I will definitely be coming back.

The property is about 45min-1hr away from the airport but once you arrive, it is paradise. New construction and very clean. Will definitely come back again. :)

Beautiful Home on a Beautiful Secluded Beach!

The home is just lovely. We had a large family of 14 people and it fit us more than comfortably. Beautiful views of the water from the living area and most every room in the main house and cottages. I can’t even begin to describe how much my family enjoyed this house and all the fun that was had in the shallow waters of the sandbar, kayaking the small river to see the sea turtles, and finishing up our day in the pool. Anything we needed, Judy, the property manager, saw that it was taken care of promptly. This is our 6th year in a row vacationing in the Exumas and definitely our favorite home!

Found paradise!

Best house we’ve ever rented! Great location! Wonderful host and concierge. They can arrange everything you wish for! The house is wonderfully equipped and that view…..that view is just amazing! We spent one week with friends and we loved every minute! There is so much to explore around the house! Make sure to bring a lot of sunscreen and some bug spray. We can highly recommend that property! Thank you Dean and team!

The property was beautiful beyond words with breathtaking views from all areas of the home. Never have I seen waters so blue or sunrises so majestic. Dean, the property owner was responsive with any questions and gave great recommendations on places to visit and eat. It was a fantastic week of relaxation and exploration. Beautiful Blue Lagoon

We just wrapped up a wonderful week at Blue Lagoon. The well appointed home is stunning with simply incredible ocean views! We spent our days floating in the gorgeous cove and exploring the quiet beaches nearby. Blue Lagoon is the perfect place to get away from it all and truly relax on vacation! The house manager, Judy, and her team were awesome in helping us with rental cars, in-home chefs and arranging boat excursions. Thank you, Dean, for being an amazing and responsive host!

Unbelievable and unforgettable

Probably the best property our family has rented in the 15 years of traveling together on our annual trip. Our party of 12 was blown away. The location is so unique and absolutely gorgeous. Your own kayak “river”, private sandbar, private little beach (not to mention the beach just a few steeps over the rocks. Snorkeling just out the back door just yards from the private beach. The host took amazing care of us and the owner was great to communicate with. The host arranged for taxis, rental cars, chef prepared meals, massages in the villa, spear fishing, boat trips to the pigs, chat n chill, sandbar, pirates of the Caribbean beach….. just to name a few. All were outstanding. Highly recommend!!

Best Trip Ever

I celebrated my 40th birthday in the Exumas with friends and family that all traveled in from the states. I have no words to describe this property and our experience on this island except for AMAZING. The photos do not do this property justice. It is breathtaking from the minute you enter the property. There are things to do for all ages. The private sandbar and mangrove kayaking is such a benefit to have because the open ocean at other beaches/properties can be overwhelming, especially for kids. Judy the property manager was the best I've experienced. She is well known throughout the island and can handle all requests without skipping a beat. She was beyond accommodating. We highly recommend renting a boat for a day or 2 and touring the Exumas. There is so much to explore.

Amazing! Relaxing! Beautiful!

This was our annual girls trip. We had the best time! We were looking to relax and chill for the week. If that’s what you’re looking for then this is the place. It’s very remote and very quiet. It’s quite a ways from town. The lazy river was amazing! We spent all day in it! We only used the pool one day. The property is just as beautiful as the photos. My only very small complaint was that we couldn’t get WiFi in the one little house by the pool. Not a big deal as the main house never had any issues. Had to fall asleep to the ocean waves instead of my phone. Didn’t take long to get used to that! There were also some little sand flea type bugs biting so bring some bug spray. I can’t say enough about the lazy river! We kayaked the mangroves every day too! You will definitely want a rental car!

Paradise Found

The views around the house were spectacular. The water was so calm and clear. Everyone enjoyed their time from our 7 year old to our 75 year old. The houses were perfect for multiple families and gave everyone their own space. We used the kayaks every day to explore the mangroves and even a couple small islands that are close. Judy was a huge help and very quick to help. We lost water one day but she had it back on within 30 minutes. The closest grocery store is about 40 minutes away, so plan accordingly. It had rained a lot before we got there and a little while we were there, so the bugs were really bad. Just bring some spray or stay in the ocean. Overall, an unreal location and will go back in a heartbeat if we can.

Perfect!

This place was amazing! The main house was absolute beautiful with 2 king size beds one over looking the ocean and the other over looking the channel and the ocean and the 3rd bedroom was a queen. The two cottages are identical with a king in one bedroom and in the other was 2 queen size beds. Main house has all the things you need in a kitchen and a laundry room. The pool was perfect for my grandchildren and for the adults to relax in. The property is right on a point which it allowed us to wade in the channel with my grandson 6,4 & 4, and the ocean to snorkel. Just remember you are their to relax with family or friends so make sure you order enough beverages and food as we didn’t rent a vehicle. We did do the excursion to see the pigs, cave, plane, iguanas and my favorite was swimming with the sharks. The owner of the property emailed me before, during and after to make sure we are having a great time. I recommend this property to families or groups of adults. Loren Smith

More than exceeded expectations.

I have never been able to give a five star rating on any vacation I have taken till now. From booking our trip to picking up a vehicle at the airport and being looked after during my family stay, I was deeply impressed. I arrived to a stunning house that was fully furnished for all my family’s needs. From the moment I entered the house I was met with the cool air conditioning inside. Then I saw the beautiful view of the ocean through the front sliding doors and I instantly knew this was a place I would not want to leave. The many pictures that we took, made everyone envious back home. These pictures showed us swimming in the mangroves, taking a half day boat trip to sandy beach, having lunch at stocking island while petting stingrays and chasing needlefish. We played in the ocean on provided kayaks and spent the evenings enjoying the clean, heated pool well into the night. The morning of our last day, my wife and I stood one last time with our feet in the ocean, reluctant to leave but already planning for our return. Thank you Dean Hiebert for providing a place like no other for my family to make life long memories.

Amazing Vacation Home

Words cannot describe how beautiful this home/property is. I took my family and the trip was amazing from the minute we walked through the door to the breath-taking views and the Lazy River right out the front of the house. There is so much to do on the property you really do not have to leave. There is kayaking, lounging in the river, the pool, walking the beaches, snorkeling at the reef in front of the house or simply lounging under the tiki hut. The Lazy River at high tide at night turns into a playground for sea critters as we saw stingrays, baby nurse sharks, large crabs and several species of fish! I rented a boat for the week which I docked quite easily in the Lazy River and there are several amazing islands/beaches nearby and very accessible. We boated to the Chat & Chill (45 min) and Santanas for lunch and dinner. Judy and her staff we’re awesome. Anything we needed arranged for us (transportation/excursions) they took care of and we’re very quick to answer all our questions. Dean the owner has been awesome from the day I booked the trip with answering questions and providing all the info we needed. This is an amazing property for a family or group of friends and I highly recommend!

One word - AMAZING

My husband and I celebrated my 40th birthday with six couples and we could not have picked a more perfect location to do so. At booking I was already in contact with Dean and this communication trickled over to the duration of our stay. Judy, the local house manager was amazing as well. From the moment you walk through the doors of the main house - seeing the crystal blue calm waters in the lagoon - to the fully stocked house (best house we have rented to date!)...this place literally has it all. During low tide you have your own personal lazy river, high tide it turns in to a lagoon. So much to do and explore just seconds from the front porch and beach areas. Our group stayed five nights and we did three house days and two boat days (rented boats at Minn's to do Elizabeth Harbour and Chat n' Chill then a customized trip to Thunderball Grotto with Robert's Island Adventures). The house has so much to offer we could have stayed there all five days! The kitchen and all it has to offer made our trip. We cooked every lunch on our house days and never went out to dinner once. Our time at Blue Lagoon is one for the books and I cannot wait to have a repeat trip!

Glorious in all ways!

Little Exuma may be off the beaten path, but there is a reason….Blue Lagoon and the surrounding beach and waters. Our family of seven had the most incredible week at Blue Lagoon. Plenty of room, beautiful decor, very comfy beds/linens and a stocked kitchen with everything you need for a week away. Dean, the owner, was very responsive. Judy, the house manager managed our boat rental, groceries, covid tests (and she could have arranged much more such as fishing, jet skis, etc)….but do make sure she stocks the home with the most delicious rum punch prior to your arrival! We dined at Tropic Breeze, Santana’s, Blu (was delicious, our fave…they had a photographer so we were able to get a professional family photo) and Rusty Anchor. We had a great day on the boat. Judy’s son was the Captain and we saw turtles, sting rays, star fish, threw the football on the sandbar, played volleyball at Chat n Chill and had lunch at Snappy Turtle. He and his first mate were amazing. Super fun people. Bugs were plentiful. Dean suggested mineral oil to protect and hand sanitizer to help with itching. We hope to return to Exuma very soon!

Family-Friends Vacation

Our family, visiting from Texas, booked the first week of July. An absolutely fabulous experience. We are a group of 14 (6 adults and 8 kids ages 3-10) and had plenty of space. Words cannot describe the beauty of this location. It is masterfully planned on the corner of the lagoon, providing views of both open ocean and the calm, quiet lagoon pool. Our kids called the lagoon the “kids ocean” - there was plenty of room for them to explore, play and use their imaginations. The house comes with kayaks which were enjoyed by kids and adults alike. The property itself is exquisite. Clean, beautifully decorated, it has a feeling of peace within its walls. The property consists of three separate houses with the main living area in the large house located in the center of the property. There was a proper chef’s kitchen wherein we cooked all our meals. The best thing about this property is that it’s quiet and feels remote. Access to basic groceries within about a half hour drive. Though, if you are particular about your food preferences, I would highly recommend bringing some of your favorite snacks with you in your luggage. In general, bring what you need…sunscreen, snorkel gear, etc. The house is very nicely equipped; all the tools you need to be “at home” are there. The property is managed by a wonderful lady named Judy who made sure that all was going to plan. The property owner also checked on us - he is kind and professional! GREAT TRIP- we will be back! Best place ever!

I hope this is what heaven looks like

Words cannot express how beautiful and special this island and this home are. If you are considering booking this home, do it, and thank yourself later!! We stayed here for my 40th birthday trip with 6 other couples and everyone had the most incredible time!! The owner, Dean, is so helpful and responds to your messages quickly and pleasantly! I see why he loves the Bahamas, his soul is one with this beautiful island as he truly wants you to enjoy the peace and tranquility that is Blue Lagoon and Little Exuma. Thank you Dean for answering all of my Qs so quickly!! When you book your stay, immediately book a captained cruise with Theo and his son TJ out to pig island and stocking island for a visit at chat n chill, cap it off with a sunset at Da Sandbar and tell Trina Sarah says hi! Additionally, book a private chef prepared dinner with Chef Khristont - he sings and I’m pretty sure that jerk chicken and chimmichurri steak changed my life!! We experienced a storm and the power went out but came back on an hour or so later. On the island, when the power goes out apparently the water turns off too. No fear! Just buzz Judy and she’ll get it back on for you in less than 15 minutes - it’s island life, no need to worry or complain!! Last, enjoy every minute on the serene sound, by the lagoon of this property as you can. Our days spent lounging on the private beach, sea shelling the sandbar or kayaking into the mangroves will be a core memory of a lifetime!!

Amazing doesn't cut it

If you are considering a trip to Exuma, this is the only property you should be considering. What makes this house so special is it has everything. The location, the space, an owner who is involved and a team in Exuma that is the best team I have ever experienced. From my first contact to my departure, the team at Blue Lagoon was on top of every single one of my requests. We spend a long weekend there to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The staff set up everything. When I say everything, I mean everything. Food was fully stocked when we arrived. Beautiful charcuterie boards and champagne waiting for us. I forgot to add ice to my list but they knew we would need it so picked it up...they just know what you want and need! The next day, they arranged a boat to pick us up literally at our back door. We walked outside and there was a boat to take us all over to some of the most beautiful spots and to pig island then dropped us back off right at our door step. The next day, I texted Larissa and asked if there was any chance she could get us some jet skis. Within an hour, we had jet skis delivered right to our back door. But the highlight was the birthday party. I asked for a birthday part on the beach with chef dinner, DJ, bartender...the works. Larissa did no disappoint. To be able to have a party like that in a location like that was something I would never have imagined. I have so much more to say but I'm out of characters! THE BEST!!!!!!!!

This is the fourth house I have built in Exuma. We had been looking for years for a property that our family wanted to eventually move to. After years of work we secured this property and built the house of our dreams. With our kids still young, we are not able to be there as much as we would like so we are renting it for select weeks and hope others can enjoy the most magical spot on the Exuma!
