Our stay was magical. This house is more beautiful and perfect than the pictures even convey. The beach is beautiful and very swimmable. We spent time in the kayaks, sat with our toes in the sand, and sipped cocktails while listening to the waves. One of our favorite aspects of this house was all of the different gathering areas. We had our coffee and mimosas under the covered patio in the mornings, staring out at the ocean. The afternoons were spent in the pool and ocean. And finally, we all would gather at the end of the day in the gazebo overlooking the ocean for a glass of wine and conversation. The hot tub is a wonderful bonus! The kitchen is well-stocked and very very accommodating for the meals we prepared each night. We played games around the dining table at night and cozied up on the living room couches to read or have screen time throughout the day. We can’t say enough good things about this house. The hosts are incredibly responsive and kind. A few things to be aware about: the no see-ums are for real! But, the bug spray solves that problem. The property is pretty remote, but easily accessible, and is walking distance to the Tropic of Cancer beach and a lovely little beach bar/restaurant called Brea’s Delight (go there!!! We went twice). All in all, we have zero complaints and would stay here again. It was a perfect week spent making memories.

We had a wonderful time at this property. We had 5 adults and 2 children and space for everyone to have privacy. The pictures and information were very accurate. The owner provided detailed information for local restaurants and points of interest. The beach was private and beautiful. We loved the kayaks and the pool. As stated it is a remote place- about 45 minutes from Georgetown, but again it made for privacy. Due to our travel dates many local restaurants on little Exuma end were closed for the season. We had two meals catered. I highly recommend Chef Vandera- amazing food!!If I had a draw back it would be the distance from town but it was mainly due to our travel dates and the closing of nearby restaurants. This is not a negative to the property- I can not recommend this house enough. Tropic of Cancer beach was walking distance. When we go back to Exuma we will definitely be returning to this property!

Silver Palms Villa home was stunningly beautiful, comfortable and luxurious. **During our stay (July 5-12, 2025) there was no beach, just water on rocks. I’m sure it’s different throughout the year. If the beach is important to you, make sure you ask.** Despite that small hiccup, we would 100% recommend this house. It was beautifully laid out, had everything we could need and exceeded our expectations. We loved how it was ranch style, and all laid out on one floor. The decor was chic and yet, very comfortable. The pool was a huge hit and I had a hard time getting my teenager out of it! When we needed the beach, Tropic of Cancer was a very short ride away.The hosts also sent a wealth of information to help plan our trip. This was our 10th year coming, but even we found some new & helpful info in their correspondence.If you’re looking for a splurge, or a place for a couple of families, this is it! (Our group were 83, 56, 49, 47 and 14.). This one was worth every penny!! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!

Paradise!!

Location was remote, but the private beach was absolute heaven. The island of Exuma itself is absolutely gorgeous. The water is great. Worth renting a boat. The house had everything you needed. Property manager was super responsive. There is construction going on next-door though and the roads are very bumpy to get there… we had a great time!

Fantastic property!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property is exceptional. Two master suites, a wonderful pool, great and well-outfitted kitchen and great beach access. None of our negatives involved the property itself, but they're worth considering. Bugs can be terrible. Several of us ended up with many itchy bites. Bug spray and/or baby oil can mitigate this. But the property is also remote and on really rough roads. It's 30-35 minutes to groceries, and at least 20 minutes to most restaurants.

Amazing

A fantastic family trip all around there were 9 of us and MORE than enough space for everyone. We were 4-50 something’s and 5-20 something’s and fun for all. The property is spectacular! The pool and beach are amazing! The property manager was top notch, she coordinated everything from a fishing excursion to a fabulous catered dinner and everything in between. Don’t hesitate to book this property you will not be disappointed.

Simply wonderful!

Everything was as advertised, but nothing could truly prepare for the total experience. This retreat for 5 couples was a celebration of my wife's birthday, but also a chance to celebrate great friends and God's provision. It was spectacular. The property owners (Mark & Deb) were terrific - communicative, prompt, and thorough. The house manager, Judy, and her family (Dana & Ieasha) were amazing. We splurged and had them cook dinner for us 4 nights, and each night were delighted with the meal. Delicious! We also had them provide regular cleaning, and they were thorough and excellent. The weather didn't really allow much on the ocean; it was too rough for kayaking or snorkeling, but no one cared at all. The views were perfect, the pool was excellent, and it was exactly the trip we hoped it would be.

Amazing House

This property is truly amazing! The house has everything you could possibly need-fully stocked kitchen with spices and gadgets, comfy furniture to lounge on, the beds and linens are tough to beat. This sprawling house was more than enough space for our party of 10 adults. It was so nice taking the Kayaks out on the gorgeous ocean right on the property. The hosts were very helpful with tons of great recommendations and Judy the PM was responsive and helpful. The chefs she helped organize for us were fantastic! The only disappointment was having to leave this amazing property. We will definitely be staying here again.

FABULOUS (BUT HOT!!) HOME

We truly loved this home & the gorgeous beach it's located on but... We were HOT most of our stay. The AC in this home just barely works. The max temp outside most days was mid-80's & the temp inside the home was always 80 by noon. It stayed hot until well after bedtime & made it very difficult to fall asleep. We communicated this with the owners immediately after check-in & were told to keep all curtains closed (which we did at ALL times, blocking our view to the gorgeous pool & beach) & that did nothing. Sadly, we could never stay here again unless the AC was fixed/upgraded. The pro's of this house are that the layout is absolutely perfect for two families. The kitchen is well stocked & having multiple refrigerators was great. The location on the beach is just stunning & we barely saw other people the entire week. So quiet & secluded!! Comfy beds & filtered water system were great too. Communicating with the house manager was interesting. I'll leave it at that. The friends we traveled with were disappointed on how few towels were in the bathrooms & so few laundry pods to wash with. We ended up going back and forth to Georgetown daily, which is quite the trek, to get items like trash bags, laundry pods, paper towels, sandwich bags, etc that you just don't think about much until you need them. My advice would be to plan ahead much better than we did & realize there's just a few of these items to get you started. Overall, we had a nice stay. :)

Slice of heaven

Silver Sands is a little slice of heaven. The beach the house is located on is stunning and ultra private. We pretty much had the entire beach to ourselves the whole trip. Water is crystal clear, and sand is so soft. We were two families with 5 children (ages 4-10) and the house setup couldn’t have been more perfect. The house comes fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for the beach, pool, cooking & relaxing. We wound love to return to this beautiful property and island again soon! We loved the privacy of the home. Make sure to stock up on groceries, and if you plan to go to restaurants take into account the days and hours restaurants are open in advance. There are three well known good ones a short drive from the property. The owners are lovely and provided lots of great recommendations in advance of the trip. Book it, you won’t regret it!

Island perfection

We had four couples staying at the property and we felt that we had our own private oasis! The house looks like a model home for pottery barn. Super clean and comfortable! All the amenities you could need pool, hot tub, private beach, amazing carribean water! The kitchen came fully stocked including spices if you want to stay in and cook! Highly recommend in house dinner (grouper with lemon caper sauce and homemade key lime pie , omg yummy). We did not see one person on the beach the entire time we were there! Very remote so pack your snack or hit the grocery store on the way while passing through Georgetown. The roads to the house are bumpy so it makes the commute about 40 min to town. We only ventured out to eat to Blu, Santanna’s, Brea’s beach bar at Tropic of Cancer…All delish! We enjoyed our private boat charter picking us up IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE! Highly recommend this property for anyone wanting low key RELAXATION!

Couples trip in Exuma

The Silver Palms Villa was perfect for our group! Beautiful property with top notch accommodations all around. The pool and beach were wonderful. We spent a lot of time in the Gazebo overlooking the ocean. We also explored the island a little bit by car and boat. The owners and the house manager were very good about communicating with us and making sure we had everything we need. We will be back!

We LOVED our stay at Silver Palms. The property was absolutely stunning and the house was gorgeous. The beach was totally secluded and we enjoyed spending time both indoors and out. It had everything we needed and more. The owners were super friendly and quick to respond to any queries. Their house felt like our home away from home.

Beautiful stay at this gorgeous home

We went to Exuma to celebrate my 40th birthday with a group of 10, plus one toddler. The home was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed! Check in was easy and Judy, the house manager, was very responsive to all our questions. The beach at the house is pristine and quiet (make sure to check out the stars at night!). The road to the home is a bit bumpy towards the end but it is well worth it! I'd highly recommend staying here!

Fabulous!

The property is beyond words beautiful! Our family stayed there to celebrate my 75th birthday and the surprise was on my them as I had not told them where we were staying. They expected the usual resort and got far more than that. The only cons: the last bit of road is treacherous but getting there was so worth it. The no-see-ems were beyond bad and even with repellent we all got chewed up. Even with that we would not have traded the wonderful experience.

Great Week In Exuma

Silver Palms is absolutely a beautiful place to stay on a private beach. This is by far the best VRBO house I have ever stayed at with the communication before the trip and services provided by Judy, the house manager. Judy provided three dinners for us at the house that were exceptional. We will definitely be back.

Another incredible stay at Silver Palms Villa!

I think this was at least our 8th stay at Silver Palms Villa and each time it is equally incredible! This place never gets old! Mark and Deb do an awesome job keeping the property clean, fresh, and stocked with everything you need/want for an awesome vacation! Everything is extremely comfortable and feels like your home away from home! We started coming to Silver Palms over 5 years ago and everything looks and feels as good as it did on our 1st visit! The pool and spa are fantastic, and the beach is out of this world! As always, Judy, the property manager, and her team do a great job arranging our rental car and taking care of all our grocery and alcohol shopping, and having everything ready at the house when we arrive! Silver Palms Villa is a no brainer!

Beautiful tastefully decorated house on a private beach with amazing outdoor space! Loved it!

Debbie and I first set foot on Exuma in January, 2015 and quickly fell in love with the island. We'd rented a great friend's property on Little Exuma and had heard about the turquoise color of the ocean, the powder white sand, the people, the relaxed atmosphere, but being there to experience it first hand impacted us in ways we hadn't imagined, there was no turning back.

Having fallen in love with Exuma, we began looking for oceanfront property to build our home in the spring of 2015. We viewed properties on the south and north side of the island, on both Great Exuma and Little Exuma and decided after seeing most of the island, Little Exuma was where we wanted to be because of it's natural beauty and the relaxed, friendly and peaceful atmosphere we experienced. We wanted beachfront property and we were fortunate enough to find and acquire our 1/2 acre beachfront piece of paradise on the ocean, in a setting that offered wonderful privacy nestled among native Silver Thatch Palm Trees, while at same time being part of a community of beautiful surrounding estate villa's. We broke ground in December, 2016 and were ready to share our new villa with guests starting Dec 15, 2017

Luxurious finishing with upscale Pottery barn furniture and decor.
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. Weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. We will try to accommodate other options if it is possible. Please contact us and we will do our best. Due to the Caribbean environment, we cannot guarantee weather, wind, sand shift with tide changes that may happen on occasion.
