En el momento en que vea el bungalow en Villarosa - Arecibo - con sus envolvente de gran terraza, hamacas, tumbonas y vistas impresionantes - usted sabrá que ha llegado al paraíso. El porche es perfecto para el entretenimiento o simplemente descansar los días de distancia, observando los muchos estados de ánimo de los océanos. Después de tomar un baño en la cala solitaria, ducha de la arena en uno de nuestros baños exteriores completos antes de dirigirse al interior, donde hay 1 hab, 1 baño, una cocina moderna y una sala de estar cómoda, totalmente equipadas con TV, DVD , equipo de música estéreo con conexión para iPod. Tiene capacidad para 4 personas cómodamente; con una cama de matrimonio en la reina hab y sofá-cama en la sala de estar. Si bien es un lugar romántico, los niños también les encanta explorar la playa y todos lo que es aventuras.

No deje que el tamaño de la casa le impida la planificación de su evento aquí. Se asienta sobre más de 3400 metros cuadrados (casi un acre), lo que le permite alojar una variedad de funciones tales como: bodas, barbacoas, ese tipo de fiestas de cumpleaños, reuniones ... la lista es tan larga que su imaginación!

Sólo quería que te deje una nota y le dirá que tuvimos un gran tiempo. No podíamos pedir un mejor tiempo y un lugar más bonito para alojarse. Era muy tranquilo y privado. La playa era simplemente genial, sin nadie que se encuentra alrededor. Creo que sería fácil simplemente tumbarse en el patio para siempre. Hicimos viajar por toda la isla. También vamos perdido un par de veces, pero no estábamos en prisa para llegar a ninguna parte.

Se encontró que el supermercado que había enumerado estaba cerrado, pero había un mercado de la ciudad. Nos encontramos la pequeña panadería y pizza lugar a pocos pasos de la casa. Ellos hacen un sandwich.

Just as the listing says, the views and location are just incredible. Our second time there. Explore the tidal pools and beaches right at your doorstep and snorkel in the shallow water right in front of the rocks that protect the property - I guarantee you'll be amazed at the diversity of life. Magaly the property manager is terrific, super responsive. Check out David Sandwiches in Islote - it's all delish but their coco lemonade. I'd go back just for that.

Good and bad

The location of this house is AMAZING! Perfect beach for swimming or relaxing or exploring! The house itself could use some improvements/attention to detail. It wasn’t very well equipped with necessities nor was it very clean, but the location makes up for any downfalls of the actual property.

Best view on the island!

We had a great 5 days. We sat outside on the terrace when we were "home" as the view of the water hitting the rocks was fantastic. The house itself needs a little TLC, but is adequate and met our needs.

Restful place

Villa Rosa was very relaxing, my wife and I had the beach to ouselves most days of the week and we would look at the small fish and crabs on the sand and in the water.People in the area were very friendly and most spoke English, from here we went to the Arecibo lighthouse and telescope. We will be back.

Puerto Rico is full of beautiful places to visit but the more I travel around the country the more I realize what a special place VillaRosa-Arecibo is. It is truly a one of a kind location. Most days the beach is yours alone and the house is positioned to allow you the best opportunity to enjoy every inch of it no matter what part of the house you are in. To sit on the porch in that hammock is so good for you you won’t want to leave. Our customers always wish they had booked for a longer stay. We are happy to have shared it with you.

Best scenery in Islote Puerto Rico

My stay was amazing wit the host waiting for us to give us the keys and gate control. The AC on prior to us arriving. The house inside temperature was perfect. You could walk straight to the water and it is a safe place. The local were nice and you could get to places very easy. We slept with hearing the waves at night and it was soothing. We will be coming back to stay as a couple next time and recommend it if you want to have your own little beach.

Amazing experience, off the beaten track

Our stay was an amazing experience. To set the context, we prefer to stay away from well-developed tourist areas (big hotels, lots of attractions) and prefer a more intimate, authentic experience. We have three young kids (7-11 YoA) that love exploring nature. The location was truly amazing for us. We spent a week, where the kids could fairly independently explore the different parts of the bay: the protected reef right in front of the house, the beach (depending on the tide), the waves crashing over the ragged moonscape on the far left and right side of the bay. This was exactly what we were looking for. We had various activities planned in the north-eastern part of PR, but we cancelled almost all because it was just great to "stay in the bay". The kids could swim in the protected, beach-adjacent part of the bay on their own. They discovered tropical fish, a green moray baby eel, starfishes, sea fans, sea urchins, hermit crabs, etc. The beach was crowded at times (weekend), but almost empty at others (where the younger kids could run around the beach naked...) Can you swim in the outer part of the bay behind the reef? No, it is way too dangerous (at least with the conditions as it was). Is it quiet or noisy? Both: 90% quiet, but towards the weekend nights, there are people driving by with LED-lit cars and loud music: We absolutely loved it, such a slice of vibrancy and life! We're planning to go there again! Owner and local keeper were kind and responsive throughout.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

Here we go… We agree that the views are good, but not so exclusive that you can’t see better beaches about 5 mins away. The place was so dirty my husband and I couldn’t stay one night. Our anniversary celebration was ruined :( There’s mold on the curtains and stains on the bed. It looks like this place hadn’t been cleaned in at least a week or two. When we sent the pictures to the host, she was courteous but didn’t really care much about the situation. We were explained that since its a beach house people didn’t really take care of the couch the table etc. Cleanliness is what we always require when renting a place, not luxury. Just know you wont really have a great or excellent time here, regardless of what other reviews have stated. We recently saw another review from Dec 2022, its the reality of the place now. The more frustrating part is that because of the no refund policy in the contract we can not get our money back and we were only offered to reschedule our vacation for another time, unfortunately the horrible smell and the terrible conditions of the place makes this unacceptable to us. We are currently trying to get our money back, even if legal action needs to take place. This is not an isolated incident the same happened to my aunt who had the same experience but even worse she had paid the event fee, amount that is ridiculous expensive with the condition of the place. Again, save yourself the disappointment of dealing with this owner who has zero interest in the cleanliness of the property and couldn’t care less on ruining a celebration or a vacation.

I am at a loss for what to say about this review so I will try to address the facts. These guests wanted to have an event on the property without paying the event fee. The event fee is plainly stated so it is your choice to book or not book the property. They decided to book the property and not have the event. Red flag number one. When the property manager greeted them & showed them the property they did not say a word to her about the condition or cleanliness of the property. Before leaving them she confirmed with them that they were not booked for an event and that she lived directly across the street, and would be available to help with any issues they may have. We understand that there will always be people who think they can do things and get away with it so when we recognize these situations we alert our managers. Later after she left, hey decided not to stay and called for a refund stating a number of minor things as the reason. Even though the property manger offered to come back and correct anything that was an issue, they refused the offer. Talking to them later we agreed to their request to allow them to leave & reschedule their stay, which they seemed fine with upon leaving, I then get this review. Who gets a bad review about a property from a close relative yet goes ahead and books that property anyway? We have been in this business since 2009. We try everyday to deliver good customer service. Do we sometimes get it wrong? Definitely. However my People are always there for our customers and will go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the vacation is what they dreamed of. We are never happy until our customers are so please give us a chance to correct any short comings we may have before trashing our reputation which is the only thing we live by in this business.

Exelente y Hermoso lugar super relajante , lo disfrutamos mucho realmente algo diferente a lo q estamos acostumbrado,levantarte en la manana con esa vista tan espectacular no tiene precio ..lo recomiendoes cuestion de llevar todo lo necesario para comer y no tener q salir de hay para nada. lo unico negativo es q los sofa cama q tiene la casa son un poco incomodo porque sientes los tubos cuando te acuestas..pero como es la segunda vez q voy me llevo unos matrs inflables y se los pongo arriba y problema resuelto...de lo demas todo bien ...Volvere a rentarla proximamente. ¡Gracias por su estancia en VillaRosa-Arecibo! Nos alegra que haya disfrutado de la propiedad durante el día, pero nos sorprende que se sintiera inseguro por la noche. VillaRosa-Arecibo se encuentra en una zona residencial y nuestra cuidadora de la casa vive al otro lado de la calle. Como propietaria, una mujer de 75 años, he vivido sola en esta propiedad muchas veces y nunca he tenido ningún problema ni me he sentido insegura. Thank you for your stay at VillaRosa-Arecibo! We are glad you enjoyed the property during the day but are surprised that you felt unsafe during the evening. VillaRosa-Arecibo is located in a residential neighborhood with the caretaker living across the street. As the property owner, a 75 year old female, I have lived on this property many times by myself and never had a problem or felt unsafe.

Challenging weekend stay

These comments are known to the property owner already. Met property manager Magaly who lives close by. She provided keys and gate opener with WIFI info. Was responsive via text. At first quick glance of the unit appears quaint and cozy. Advertised as a one bedroom romantic retreat at the end of a private beach cove was what we were looking forward to after a exhausting river adventure earlier in day. We began to appreciate how filthy the home was upon unpacking and the profound deferred maintenance of the property. We can give many examples but the feedback was provided to the owner who had a third party come assess our concerns which we appreciated. The dryer door was broken however Magaly’s husband did come to repair it the following day. We were only booked for 2.5 days so we tried to look at the positives. We had a semi private beach cove. Locals arrived at 10 and left around 4pm. We had AC, WIFI, cable, and electricity but unfortunately a local power outage caused us to lose power at 3am on day of departure. The generator on the property was not functioning because the large propane tank it was attached to was corroded. In summary this unique property has great potential if it is properly renovated, maintained and kept clean. On a separate note, a camp exist next door so camping visitors were up at all hours of the night. Also the property is on highway 681 which is a main artery for loud party buses that blare their music at late hours of the night. Worse if there is a traffic jam. Windows did not close properly so it just added to the challenging experience. Not the quiet romantic retreat we were hoping for.

i always have wanted to stay

I visit that beach and I always see the yellow house… but one day we ask and at the moment we book our stay. Just perfect to stay with family and friends, and the beach clear water is perfect. Near the property you have a lot of restaurants and bars.

Amazing View

This is the third time we have stayed. It has a wonderful view. You basically have a private beach at night. The beach is very calm and safe. Magaly was always available. The property needs some small improvements and I would only place a private property sign or a gate to the beach. Many people who were on the beach interrupted and entered the property to ask where it was rented. They could also place a sign with the information of where to rent in front of the property.

Idyllic

Absolutely beautiful views. Quiet, humble little cottage. It does need some updates. The couch was sagging, some of the linens were stained (but clean), appliances older. If your looking for a very usable, basic, not fancy, clean, convenient home on the most beautiful piece of land, this is it. Ta-Ta, the property manager is a delight. We would stay again. One downside is that the beach isn’t swimable. If you’re not into swimming and just want to cool off in the tide pool then this would not be an issue. There is a great swimming beach 10 min up the road.

My travels to Puerto Rico began in 1998, with my then-11-year-old daughter. We toured the entire big island of Puerto Rico as well as the two smaller islands (Vieques and Culebra) by car and completely fell in love with the culture, the food and the beauty of "la isla del encanto". I had entertained the idea of purchasing a property at that point, but it wasn't until 2005, when chance brought me and my husband back to Puerto Rico, that I was finally able to fulfill my dream of having a beach house. In fact, I found my first dream property on the eastern side of the island, in a town called Luquillo, close to El Yunque and the port city of Fajardo. As I developed what would become VillaRosa – Luquillo (VRBO Listing #235755), I also began exploring Puerto Rico all over again. I remembered my visit with my daughter - that we had loved the areas near the Cordillera Central (the central mountain region) because it had seemed to us like a completely different world from the coastal cities of San Juan and Ponce. Things moved slower there, (except on the mountainous highways!), and the paths were less frequently traveled. But we were often rewarded by the majestic mountain forests, large tropical lakes and stunningly uncommon coastlines. So, I began looking on the northwest coast, and stumbled upon VillaRosa – Arecibo. I know that you will fall in love with this property (just like we did) and I also know that you will want to return again and again to “Make Our Home Yours”!
