"A Wava Sunshine" is a 5-bedroom Fort Morgan beach house rental with a beautiful beach view and a private pool. This vacation house is conveniently located just across a small neighborhood street from the beach, making the white sand only a short stroll away! This coastal chic house boasts gorgeous views of the uncrowded Fort Morgan beaches from its two large balconies. Your dogs are welcome to enjoy the sand too, as this house is also pet-friendly!

As you walk into this vacation home, you will first love the open floor plan living area, containing the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The fully stocked kitchen has all the appliances you might need to serve a fabulous meal at the bar area seating or picnic table-style dining area. Enjoy a movie or the big game on the flat-screen TV in the cozy living room, which also has a sleeper sofa! Every bedroom in the house also provides a TV for your added convenience. You will find the Master bedroom on the main floor as well, with a King bed and master bathroom. Venture up the stairs to find the 4 Guest bedrooms for a total sleeping capacity of 15 guests: 3 bedrooms with king beds, and the last bedroom has a full over full bunk bed with a twin trundle!

While your group will love the comfort and luxury inside of this vacation home, the real fun begins outside on the gorgeous Alabama Gulf Coast. Take a short walk across the street to spend the day at the white sandy beach! Here, there is something for everyone. For maximum relaxation, enjoy a good book under an umbrella or soak up the sun in a lounge chair. The kids will love building sandcastles, passing a frisbee, playing in the waves, and maybe even crab-hunting at night. After a perfect day in the sun, everyone will enjoy a nice rest back at the house. Everything you could need to enjoy an Alabama beach vacation in beautiful Fort Morgan can be found at "A Wava Sunshine" beach house!

* The pool heating fee is $65 a day plus lodging tax, and this total does not show up on the booking total, so it will be billed and invoiced separately once the booking is made. This option is only available between October 1st and May 1st.

A wave of Sunshine

Loved the house! Perfect for our family of 12. Even for our little guys. Everyone loved the house and the pool on the deck! Only thing that would be better is a little better trail to the beach.

Family week

Our family had a wonderful stay! We spent time at both the beach and the pool. Our two-year-old is ready to go back. The kitchen had everything we needed. We hope to go back.

The house was beautiful but not clean. We called property management company and they sent someone to clean that day! It was a great place to stay but needs more blankets. We asked for more blankets but they just sent 3 small light throw blankets. Overall It was great! Wonderful family time!!

Family fun in Ft. Morgan

We really enjoyed the house for our family trip. With 9 of us (4 were kids) we had plenty of room for us all to have our own space at times.

A Wava Fun

The house was perfect. Very roomy and exactly as described. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking. The kids loved the pool and we loved the access to the beach right across the street. View from the upper deck was very nice. It was our favorite place to sit at night and listen to the waves.

We couldn’t have been more pleased. Clean , close to the beach , pool was agreeable when the beach wasn’t. Plenty of room for our crew. Ice maker was a huge plus. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Location

The physical location was diff then what was on the booking site so it was much farther away from the town. Also, it’s hard to plan for more than one house without knowing the exact location therefore our group was split up more than 30 minutes apart.

It was very disappointing that we could not use the pool due to it being broken even before we arrived. Property owners did not disclose that prior to checking in. Property owner did offer a small refund. Couches were stained and under furniture was not cleaned.

Thanksgiving 2023

We stayed at A Wava Sunshine with a party of 13 for 4 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. The house was simply beautiful and offered everything we needed. The costal decor offered a relaxing feel and the beds were extremely comfortable. The fully stocked kitchen included everything we possibly needed to make our Thanksgiving meal. When we arrived, I did notice that there were not enough towels for our party. I did reach out the to rental company and within an hour, they had delivered additional towels. The property is about 20 minutes away from Gulf Shores, but we liked the fact that we were basically given our own beach. We did a grocery pick up before arriving at the house, so we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We will be back!!

Great location walking distance of the beach. Easy check in. House was well decorated and clean. Pool was always warm. Listing was clear about not providing any beach necessities or extra supplies. We had to buy more paper towels, bathroom tissue, dish soap, and trash bags, as well as cooking spices. Wifi was spotty at times. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great Stay!

Great place! Clean and met all of our kitchen needs when we decided to cook. Spacious for our group of 13 (5 of those were kids). The kids LOVED the pool. Short walk to the beach. A little drive to Walmart and place we like to eat but there was a Dollar General a few miles down that was convenient. We would definitely like to stay here again!

Family vacation

We had family from all over the country meet up in Fort Morgan for the week. The house was spacious and clean. The walk to the beach was short. The beach was never too crowded (even on July 4th weekend). The kitchen was well-stocked (we cooked the majority of meals in) and the washer/dryer worked well. The ice cream truck came by every evening and the kids loved that. Only complaints were minor and included that we could have used more bath towels and a blanket for the living area would have been nice. The pool was also hot but not sure that much could be done to help that since it was small and it was the middle of July. All in all, we would definitely stay here again!

Great house!

Our family of 14 just stayed a week at A Wava Sunshine and had the best time! We thoroughly enjoyed this house and the owners were very responsive to requests/problems. It was wonderful to have the pool for the little ones. This house is one row behind the beach. There is a road in front of the house, but the walk to the beach is not very far at all. There is plenty of covered parking. We had four different vehicles and they all fit just fine. You do have to go up stairs to get to the house, so it was a little difficult hauling all of our stuff in on the first day. There is not much seating in the den area. There's only one couch and one chair...the other chair is broken and not very comfortable. We made it work because we didn't sit around and watch tv very much. Luckily we had beautiful weather all but one day. Another complaint I have is there is not one full-length mirror and very few mirrors at all. (Must've been a man doing the decor! Haha!). I would suggest maybe adding some full-length mirrors to the back of the doors in the bedrooms. All-in-all, though, we had a wonderful week at this property and would stay here again. I noticed that some people complained about being too far from restaurants, stores, etc., but we did not find that to be a problem. There are several restaurants nearby and there's a couple of Dollar Generals that are close for getting essentials. There is no grocery store nearby though. One plus is that an ice cream truck comes by daily! :)

peaceful and clean

nice and clean property, spacious rooms for pack-n-plays for infants/toddlers. very well stocked kitchen with utensils/pots/pans to be able to cook at home. it is in fort morgan, so a 15 minute drive from nearest store, 20 minutes from gulf shore proper. Beach access was right across the street, and the house is at the end of the drive so really no traffic. only suggestion would be to have more reliable internet. we didn't have good cell service to hot spot, and family members who needed reliable internet for work/classes had to leave to go to a coffee shop to complete necessary work because the internet was shotty all week.

Ft.Morgan not gulf shores

This house is marketed as gulf shores when in actuality it is Ft.Morgan location. This is very important if your not a family that eats in during vacation. The house has great layout and is clean. Easy walk to the beach(the access is over grown and hard to recognise). If you need to work remotely the wifi is great. The main problem overall is if you don’t cook when on vacation this place is a non starter. Gulf shores is a 30 min drive. So we were obviously stunned when we got to the house. The map shows the house on hwy 182 which is gulf shores main beach rd. The house actually location is almost at the end of Ft.Morgan beach. Only 1 or 2 edible restaurants. Also the pool is really small but great for small kids. But that was our experience. If the map would have been accurate then everything else on the advertisement I think is pretty accurate. Im sure someone would say that the mailing address is gulf shores so technically so you can get away with advertising the property as gulf shores but personally just be honest with where it is at and you will have happier clients. Beautiful House

We enjoyed our stay plenty of room for 10 of us. Very clean and we love the pool. The only suggestion is more bath towels and kitchen towels. With the house sleeping up to 15 you barely have enough towels. We had to wash them daily to have enough for everyone.
