Charming Hideaway

Charming, updated 1940s cottage located in Murrells Inlet Proper. This absolutely darling two-bedroom bungalow is located about a mile south of the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, which is lined with restaurants, live music, local artisans, boat rentals, fishing tours and more. This home has two bedrooms; the primary has a king bed and the other with a queen so the home comfortably sleeps up to four guests. There is a screened back porch as well as a fire-pit with seating in the fully fenced yard. Dog Friendly! The closest beach access is about 3 miles away, Huntington Beach State Park, which we provide a pass for that allows admission for one vehicle and its occupants. Garden City Beach Pier and public beach access, 4 miles away.

Our stay was absolutely amazing and so relaxing! The home was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for the three of us and our pup! Our host was patient and kind, and so accommodating. Would highly recommend!

James is very communicative and overall a great host! Property was nicely put together, and the big fenced-in yard was enjoyed by our dog. We were greeted by several delicious cookies and we thought that was a very nice touch.When we go back to Murrells Inlet we will be booking this property again!

this residence was a fantastic place to stay! our pups enjoyed the fenced in yard so much! the home was clean upon arrival, and in a great location if you wanted to walk to restaurants. the neighborhood is beautiful as well! the provided dog treats, dog bags, and cookies were a huge plus for us as well! we also really enjoyed the pass to go to the state park nearby!one small concern was that it did get a little stuffy in the bedrooms with the doors shut, and we could not figure out the thermostat so it was warm inside but comfortable for all. we travel to the area multiple times a year and will absolutely try to book this home again!

The cottage is lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed the screened porch. The location of the rental is also great. The only negative was our difficulty getting the hang of using the keypad door lock and the extremely loud exhaust fan in the full bath - we just didn’t run the fan. Both small issues. Over all, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. “Charming Cottage” is the perfect name for this rental in Murrells Inlet.

The cottage is adorable. Very comfortable. Beautifully decorated. The yard is perfect. Our dog, Clementine, enjoyed it a lot. The beautiful, mature landscape, trees adds to the cottage’s charm.

We had such a lovely stay at this cozy, pet-friendly home in Murrells Inlet. The house was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. We enjoyed seeing the Thousand Lights, had great dinner reservations nearby, and even had an excellent lunch at Frank’s in Georgetown. A charming, quiet spot that made our visit easy and relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with pets

As serene as it looks in the photos, a true haven. So quiet and comfortable. My pups and I were so much at home we did not want to leave. The property is neat as a pin. The screened in porch was welcome when the breezes were blowing in. Well stocked, like staying with a thoughtful friend. The bidet was an exceptionally great amenity. If it was cool enough, the fire pit would have been in use, but it looks like the ideal spot for crisp nights. Very relaxing and attractive interior design, and all the comforts of home. One note for those with small dogs, my silky terriers were able to slip through the gorgeous enclosed fence, but they are professional escape artists. I have leashes, so I was just able to promenade around the back and that solved it. They loved the space, and I felt comfortable with them in the yard, because it was so professionally tended.From the original photos, the living room has an upgraded couch which is a full size leather sofa. Very nice for families, I'm sure. Please go and recharge! Near restaurants, shops, State parks, the beaches. Ideal from top to bottom.

Charming and comfortable

Such a quiet peaceful respite, yet very close to everything we wanted to do. Perfect to leave the chaos of the beach crowds and traffic and return to this comfy cottage when our day was done.

Perfectly located this Cottage has everything you could possibly need or want clean comfortable cozy. The bed in the king size room was so comfortable. It’s a very quiet area and private backyard. The screened in porch is great for sitting out on those evenings after a busy day of adventures.

The house was perfect for us and our fur baby. It had everything we needed and was a nice surprise to see the delicious cookies on the counter as well as the bottle water by our bedside. Had a very nice fenced in backyard. We are already looking for dates to return. Was a great location for walking to the marshwalk.

Perfect!

The cottage is absolutely adorable and beautifully appointed. We felt so comfortable staying here and our dog Callie was tickled to pieces with the fenced yard. Several squirrels visited the yard, making her stay that much better. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place.

Wonderful house with everything you need

The stay was wonderful, the house was exactly as described and perfect for what we needed. They made sure you have everything you need from linen, towels, and even fresh baked cookies when we arrived. The house is right on the main strip so everything is close. The property was great and the setup and yard was perfect for my dog. They also were very responsive. Overall it was a wonderful trip. Will stay again

Great Cottage

We had a great stay. Welcomed with cookies, bedside water and mints along with great toiletries for the forgotten ones! Easy check in and out. Even left poopy bags and bowls for my pups. The only item I would add it a tv to the bedrooms 😉 but that’s just me. Great location and huge yard for those going for bike or car functions that you have a tray!! Will keep on my saved for return for sure.

Beach trip with grandson

This small, cozy cottage was just right for a weeks stay for me, my wife, and our 11 year old grandson. Michael was a great host and available when we needed him. My wife found the back screened porch to be her favorite spot. The backyard was a good place to play catch. We rented bikes which we rode to and in Hutchinson State Park. Enjoyed a kayak trip though the salt marsh at high tide. Location is convenient both to the numerous restaurants and to the State park. We used the pass to the park almost every day.

Really cute cottage, nice location.

Just down the road are plenty of different restaurants, 5 minute ride to the beach. Cottage is cute, nice screened in back porch, plus a 1/2 bathroom in the master bedroom. The cottage needs a little bit of upkeep, ceiling in the bathroom needs to be touched up, and the pantry, something smells like maybe cat urine? Not really sure, but we could smell it. Coffee pot is missing the reusable coffee ground basket, as long as you use 2 filters you don't get as many grinds in your coffee. Well worth the money and again a great location.

Right at home.

I come to the Myrtle beach area for a break from the cold every spring and usually stay in a resort location. This year i brought my dogs and the resort was not flexible on the weight restriction for my fat pup. We made the two day treck and were so happy when we got to the house!! Our dogs immediately were comfortable in this cozy cottage. The kitchen is set up perfectly for a person who loves to cook!! I loved the flow which made cleaning up as you cook effortless! The screened in back porch was a hit with all of us as well. Spent hours lounging around out there. Michael has really thought of everything a traveler may need and may have forgot to pack. Being greeted with fresh baked cookies was a beautiful touch. I highly recommend and will book again in the future. Thank you for letting us stay in your cozy cottage. ✨️

Quaint Uncleaned Cottage

My husband and I recently stayed at Inlet Cottage. Quaint? yes. Dirty? Very much so. All of the air vents and fans were filled with caked on dirty dust. The tub would not hold water so a hand towell was used. The trash can in the backyard was never dumped and our trash had to remain on the screened porch. If the smell of the utility closet was any indication, management has done little to go the extra mile in living up to its description as being "clean". Although the beds were comfortable, they are full size and not designed for anyone taller than 5'5. Location was good. Access to Huntington state park was a treat as well. Its sad when good money is spent on your vacation. But, expectations aren't fully met. Pictures available upon request.
