Always a pleasure staying at The Half Shell. This is my 3rd stay. Great location. Easy walk to beach. No steps! Great place to stay for older people and pets that do not want to run up and down steps to enter and exit.

A charming cottage one block from the beach. There was a nice deck in the backyard with an outdoor shower and lots of beach chairs.

This is our 2nd stay at Half Shell. We love the house and the short 1 block walk to the beach. The side roads are safe and quiet to walk our pups anytime. There are fantastic restaurants within a 10 minute drive. A Dairy Queen is within walking distance. Also, an Urgent Care is within a 2 minute drive. We plan on returning again as it is an ideal spot for us and our pets.-Leanne

We have stayed with this host multiple times, and each experience has been excellent. The property’s proximity to the beach is perfect, making it easy to enjoy the area. It has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, and everything is always clean and well-maintained. We always enjoy our time here and are already looking forward to our next stay!

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Perfect amount of space for two adults and two dogs. The walk to the beach was super easy, which we loved. Plenty of local restaurants and activities within walking distance or short drive! Overall a really nice, relaxing place to stay.

We liked this property for many reasons: location, price, cleanliness, decor, and dog friendliness. Unfortunately, we were not happy with the beds. Although the owners have bed toppers on the beds, we were not able to sleep well because the the beds were too soft for our preference.We have bad backs. Oh well.

A cute clean beach cottage walking distance to the beautiful beach. The owners have done a wonderful job making our stay very comfortable and homey. Not to mention we were able to bring our dog. Definitely hope to stay again soon.

The property is as described based on the listing. It’s a cozy beach bungalow ideally located in a friendly neighborhood, very close to the beach, and allows dogs! My husband, our two dogs, and I had ample room and very much enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely stay here again or another property owned by Ashley.

Our host, Ashley, is fantastic to work with. The cottage was everything that is advertised plus more. A very comfortable setting, house, neighborhood and very close to the beach. This is definitely worth re-visiting.
