To say that there were weather-related issues is an understatement. Hurricane Lowell was no joke. Thankfully, all went as well as one could hope. Unfortunately, the Master Ensuite remodel will be postponed as construction workers' skills are sorely needed elsewhere on the island. As I write, the power has yet to be restored on the North Shore. ~ With Aloha, Tammy

Well, this is a first. No doubt having the scrub trees cut down at the back of The Dolphin Hale has allowed the natural light to shine in. I would think this a blessing. However, I will take the suggestion of black-out shades under consideration. ~ A hui hou, Tammy

The Dolphin Hale has an interesting history. It was one of the first homes to be built in Princeville for a Judge and his family. Hurricane Iniki wreaked so much damage that it received a new build date in 1993. My husband and I purchased it in 2004 and in 2016 added 1000 sqft of living space, including the Chef's Kitchen you see today. So, no, it is not a new house. However, improvements to this family home have been made every year since. And, I hope you and yours will feel that aloha when you Check-In. ~ E komo mai, Tammy

First, let me say that this is the first time I am learning of the falls. I, however, am glad that there were no injuries. As stated in this listing, The Dolphin Hale is a tri-level home. That means there are three levels and two sets of stairs. Future Guests would do well to take this into consideration if any party members have an issue with stairs or otherwise are not surefooted. ~ Mahalo, Tammy

I think Air Fryers are the next best thing to sliced bread! I'm glad you appreciated the Ninja and other house amenities. Sometimes it's the small things that make the biggest difference when it comes to a comfortable stay. There actually is a trail head just down the street from the house to Sealodge Beach. The View from The Dolphin Hale was the deciding factor in why Clayton and I actually purchased this home more than 20-years ago. It is everchanging along with the seasons and weather. So, the view never gets old. ~ Aloha, Tammy

I'm glad to hear it. The North Shore offers much to see and do. Although, it should be noted that Princeville Ranch no longer offers Ziplining or Off-Road adventures. ~ With Aloha, Tammy

Aloha John ~ Clayton and I agree with you. The North Shore, in particular Princeville (where The Dolphin Hale is located), is one of our favorite places to be. The community itself offers amenities that are FREE for all to enjoy. Most notably these include the parks. Prince Albert Park offers families with small children a playground to expend some of that energy, especially after a long flight. There also is a Fitness Circuit for the parents. Emmalani Park offers teens and adults basketball courts and a newly resurfaced pickleball court. Additionally, there is the community jogging/walking path that allows ALL to partake of the outdoors and fresh air at their own pace. What's not to love? ~ With Aloha, Tammy

And with that beautiful view comes a 3844 sqft house chock-full of amenities. Mahalo

While not usually mentioned, Guest safety is a priority at The Dolphin Hale. As part of the Princeville at Hanalei Community Association (PHCA), Guests benefit from the roving community patrol as well as other community safeguards. You will not find any homeless persons sleeping outside the front door here. ~ Mahalo, Tammy
