Great Place and Location

My group enjoyed staying here. The place was clean and accurately fit the description and pictures from the listing. It is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is good location. I would not hesitate to rent this property again.

Short Beach Stay

The property was convenient to everything and the owner provided detailed instructions for check-in and check-out. The girls enjoyed the dock nearby watching the horseshoe crabs. I would stay at this property again.

quiet and suitable for families

the street was really quiet and tranquil it's right next to the bay and the kids loved walking out to the dock. the screen porch was very relaxing, the lock on the screen door needs to be fixed. short walk to the beach very close to shopping, Acme Food Store, dining, and other attractions

Ocean City

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for - quiet and comfortable. Close to the beach on the north side and a short 15 minute drive to the boardwalk. Wish linen and towels were included, other than that truly enjoyed our stay.

The property was nice and in a good neighborhood. It would have been nice if linens where included. Could use an update with furnishings and window treatments. Overall it was good.

Nice and clean

Property was nice and clean and easy to communicate with owner. Only issue is it was a little further from boardwalk than we expected.

Damir, We explained in the description how far the beach was from our home, just 2 blocks from the main road and then straight across was the Beach access.

Family time

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the home and convenient location. My family and I was able to walk and site see without being too far away from the house. Freedom (the host) was always available when I contacted her and provided my family with entertainment options. I will certainly book with them in the future😊

Great Family Place

My family (2 teens, 2 kids and myself) enjoyed this property. We arrived early and were able to get in to the property.There was ample space for all of us and the place was in a great spot. I loved how close everything was within a short walking or driving distance to get things that we wanted or needed and it was super easy to find too! The neighborhood was beautiful and friendly. Everything was standard clean and my kids would love to stay there again and are already begging to go back!

Nice location on the Bay side

The property was as described. We enjoy the quiet location of the bay side and the nice neighborhood. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house though. There were ants on the kitchen counter and crumbs all over the floor.

Kim, I am sorry about the issue with the ants. We have an exterminator coming out to spray the perimeter of the house. We have also addressed the crumb situation with the cleaning service.

5 day beach trip

We had an amazing time. Freedom was always available for any questions I had and gave me great information. The house was a few short blocks to the beach. You do have to cross a busy street but besides that it was a easy walk. The house was as advertised, had everything you need, we loved sitting on the screened in porch. If you plan to travel to Ocean City, MD I would highly recommend this place to stay at.

Peaceful Neighborhood

This property is spacious and clean. It’s a short walk to the beach and grocery store. However you will need to supply everything for your stay from towels, linens, toilet paper, etc. It has a full washer and dryer and an enclosed patio area. Overall we had a nice stay. The owners did communicate all the information regarding the property way in advance.

Bike week 2023

We had a great time on our stay. We visited a lot of places and did a lot of riding. Went to Chincoteague and Assateague and visited alot of nearby restaurants and bars. Green Turtle, Kirby’s, Yellowfins and Ropewalk. We would like to thank Freedom for letting us stay in her home. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the foxes run around the neighborhood. We had plenty of room in the driveway and would love to come stay again.😊👍

Small, Dirty & Cheap

We were not too happy with our stay. The location was great! We loved being right across the street from the beach. The kitchen also had a lot of utensils and things for us to use. Some were very dirty, but we made it work with some aluminum foil. The front porch was nice to keep all of our stuff in. The communication process between the host and myself was great. We even got to check in super early so that was nice. Overall, the unit is very small and was very dirty – the bathroom tub had stuff all over it (looked like puke), the shower curtain was discolored and all of the beds were uncomfortable. The dishwasher did not work and the couches were also uncomfortable and dirty. We will most likely not be staying here again!

No frills

The property was very basic and really came with no extras. There wasn't even a trash liner for the single trashcan in the entire unit. It was overall very clean, but then there were some items that were missed, like a very pink shower liner. It met our needs and the location was nice and quiet, but I'm not sure I'd stay again.

The property gets 3-stars. The construction and layout was fine, a bit small with a cozy feeling. There was sufficient space for my wife and I with two young adult children. However, the apt. furnishings are poor. For ex., the master bedroom and living room furniture are very worn, stained, damaged and should be replaced immediately. There was mildew on shower liner so we purchased, replaced and installed a low cost shower liner. To avoid looking at the stains on the dining room table we purchased a low cost tablecloth. The dining room chairs are all smudged. We can feel the springs in the living room couch and the HVAC registers need cleaning and some had rust stains. On a positive tone, the 2024 rental certificate is posted and current. The apt looks painted within the last 2-years, the kitchen and bathroom cabinets are in good shape, the major appliances look fine, the bathrooms are ok but stocked with one partial toilet paper roll in each bathroom. The apt has lots of potential. With minimal TLC, new furniture and minor comforts like toilet paper, dish detergent, and routine mgmt. inspections to include the evaluation of the useful life and replacement cycle of the furnishings, this apt could receive an 4.5 rating. The cost and effort to improve this apt. can be paid for and accomplished with one week’s rental and completed in one weekend of work. To future customers, before renting this property, you should read recent reviews and ask if the furniture was replaced.

Stephen, I actually stopped by my unit today and your comments are definitely false. The current renters are grilling on my 2 year old Weber grill and when I asked how they feel about the condition of the grill they were happy to say that their dinner last night and lunch today was made perfectly on the grill that they used the brand new grill cleaning utensils I provide for the unit. As for the furniture in the bedrooms and living room there is nothing wrong as I just had the upholstery cleaning after your stay and I do regularly throughout the season. We do perform maintenance if needed at every cleaning. As for toiletries and dish soap you are made aware when you booked that we do not provide any of those items. I have multiple repeat renters that are aware of the items they have to provide and do not complain after the fact when you should have read the details before booking. I do apologize about the shower curtain as the cleaning staff should have changed that out. The HVAC vent was cleaned when you departed the unit as the cleaning staff noticed it. You stated you could feel the springs in the couch which is false as I again was at the unit and inspected all your concerns the couch was recently cleaned and brand new memory mattress was installed to pull out couch. Thank you for making false accusations about my home.
