We rented both properties, the stone house--the front house and the barn. The drive down through the corn and soy fields to the barn was beautiful this time of year. Sunsets off the back decks of both houses are amazing Tom met us and gave the most informative and unique tour. Both houses are more like staying in museums. Tom's passion for the history of Gettysburg is unmatched. Both properties had everything you need to have a comfortable stay. He lives on the property .

The host, Tom, was amazing! He provided such detailed history of the property and the area. His property is really impressive. He even sent me an alert about the weather so I didn't miss it. He is incredibly thoughtful! Both properties to choose from are magnificent.

Wonderful stay. Comfortable; roomy; enjoyed the amenities and the historical displays. Tom is a great guy who is well versed on history and gave me a very special tour of his ranch property. I will stay their again in the future when vacationing as a group.

Tom is an excellent and attentive host. He shared so much history with us and was available any time we had a question. He has such a unique property with many, many artifacts to peruse. The property is so peaceful and private - we enjoyed every minute we were there. The homes have everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If we're ever back in the area we would definitely like to stay again.

We had a great time. A much needed family get away after losing both my parents last year. The property features two houses, a long driveway apart from one another. Tom was a gracious host. I woke up the first morning of our stay to find my bedroom door open and I saw the wax figure which startled me at first then I just laughed. We love Gettysburg but don’t want to stay downtown. It’s a perfect location, imo.

We stayed in the Civil War Stone House. An amazing home and absolutely wonderful accommodations! The host was extremely welcoming and helpful with communications that were beyond what we ever expected. The location is perfect- along a rural road and close to all of the Gettysburg attractions. Our advice: Stay Here!

Perfect family holiday location. Tom was extremely welcoming introducing us to his beautiful historic farm . Both house and converted barn were very comfortable and well stocked.

Our stay was a dream. We rented the Stone House and couldn't have loved it more. We got to enjoy the amenities of a modern home while having the chance to experience a Civil War historical home. The house was spotless. The bathrooms were lovely - especially the tubs! Our host was kind, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We felt right at home when he welcomed us. The sunsets over the farm were breathtaking - we took pictures of them every night! Two of the three bedrooms have door out onto a second story porch, perfect for watching the sunset. We also loved seeing the deer at dusk. The saltwater pool was clean and refreshing, with a view of our host's gardens. The tour of his trolley museum is a must! We had privacy, and our host was there for any and all concerns. The Gettysburg sites were only a short drive away, so we got to do a lot of exploring without going far. The large kitchen was perfect for us, as we love to cook. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our Gettysburg vacation. We are already planning to go back again with more of our family.

Tom, our host was fantastic. Our family stayed in both the stone house and the barn (which you would not even know that at one time it was a barn). Both houses had very large kitchens and plenty of space to move around in. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was great! The houses were very clean, which was greatly appreciated! The pool was fantastic and the family did get to enjoy it. We want to thank Tom for his hospitality and kindness to our family. It was a special treat for us to be in Gettysburg for a family wedding! Beautiful countryside! I'd go back again!
